All State final teams (Week 1)
With early NSD and the transfer portal, we got real busy and forget to honor those who had great performances in their state title games. This year was one of the best as most of the games either came down to the wire or were really close. Most of the time the games are blowouts and over by halftime. There were some new teams like Homestead Sr. High. Columbus won another state championship. Chaminade, Saint Thomas and Miami Central continue their dominance of Florida High School football. We break down the players. The classifications changed this year to Suburban, Rural and Metro.
Week 1 (Class 1S, 2S, 1R and 1M)
Offensive MVP: Cedrick Bailey -Chaminade (Stats: 16-24 255 Yards-3 TD-0)-Bailey came out smoking on the first drive and led Chaminade down the field for a touchdown. I don’t think the drive lasted more than a minute. When Bailey is on, Chaminade is one of the toughest offenses to stop. He led a team that did not lose a game this year and closed it out against Clearwater Central Catholic for one of the best performances by an individual in the state finals.
QB-Cedrick Bailey (Chaminade) 16-24 255 Yards-3 TD/O Interceptions

OL-Tommy Kinsler (Trinity Catholic)
OL-Dajuan Davis (Clearwater Central Catholic)
Defensive MVP–Michael Votta (First Baptist) 12 Tackles, 2 TFL. Votta was all over the field for First Baptist defense. He was one of the main reasons why, Trinity Catholic had a difficult time moving the football. Votta will most likely end up at a small college at the next level but that does not matter as someone will get a very good football player. His performance was one of the ones that stood out on the defensive side of the football.
