Spring Risers -Florida

Spring Risers -Florida

Spring football in Florida comes to an end on Tuesday night may 30th. This spring was very productive as there were plenty of players who popped up onto the radar. We are going to break down some of those players and who FSU may show interest in.

LB Jayden Parrish, Delray Atlantic HS, 6-1, 210 (2024) – Was not sure what to think when FSU took him. After his 13-14 tackle performance in his spring game, Parrish answered many of the questions asked of him. He was very active and played down hill. He showed the ability to drop into coverage. He was the best player on the field. While committed to FSU, Parrish will still get recruited this upcomnig season.

TE – Timothy Lawson – Fort Myers Bishop Verot – 6-5, 220 (2024): May be the best tight end in Florida. Not much attention drawn so far. Turn on his film and he is what college coaches want to see from a tight end. If he played up North this kid would have offers from everyone in the country. That may still happen. He is my number one target in Florida. (Projected Level: P5)

DE-Jordan Campbell – American High School – 6-2, 200 (2026) Campbell played at Avante Garde last season and has since moved over to American HS. He is the top prospect at this school since Oliver Vernon. We went to practice and this kid stood out. He looks the part. He is a prospect we feel will continue to see his stock rise. (Projected Level: P5) Not ranked at this time.

S Bryce Fitzgerald – Miami Belen Jesuit – 6-1, 190 (2025) We saw him line up at receiver. He also lined up at safety. He was very impressive the one time we watched him play. Bryce is a very good athlete. We feel that Bryce can be a good receiver. If he plays safety you may be looking at the top-rated player at his position in Dade County. (Projected Level: P5)** Rated a four-star on Rivals.

CB Amare Sanders – Miami Gulliver Prep, 6-2, 170 (2024) -Gulliver is down this year. That being said Sanders is a prospect that drew a ton of attention from college recruiters. He lacks great burst but still has the size many coaches want in their secondary. He is a plan B option. His size and length is the main reason you take a kid like Sanders. He has good range so playing safety is an option at the next level.

CB Kal-El Pascal – Dr. Krop – 6-0, 170 (2024)- He was one of the best corners at the Rivals.com camp. He drew a ton of attention this spring and his offer sheet blew up. He lacks great speed and that was the main concern coming from those I spoke with. He does lock guys down and is very physical. We will see but Pascal is a prospect I would keep an eye on.

LB Char-Quez Lee – Miami Palmetto – 6-2, 200 (2024): Thought he had a great spring. Performed well every time I saw him. Lee has the speed and quickness to drop into coverage. He has the length to cause problems in the passing game. I really like Lee and feel that his stock could blow up.

OT Wilnerson Telemaque – Monsignor Pace, 6-6, 250 (2025)- He plays defensive end but Telemaque is playing tackle in college. He looks like an offensive tackle. He moves like an offensive tackle. His upside is at offensive tackle. He is a project but guys with his size and athletic movement are hard to find. Look for him to get a ton of offers if he performs well this season.

CB Larry Tarver – Tru Prep – 5-11, 170 (2024) (Committed to FIU), Tarver is probably the fastest CB in Florida this year. He is a legit 4.4 kid. He runs track. One thing he will show on film is the ability to make plays. He is a prospect to keep an eye on. I will be surprised to see him not receive more offers. Texas A&M just pulled the trigger. (Projected Level: DI) Two-star on Rivals.

WR Jaborre Riggins – Fort Lauderdale – 6-3, 180 (2026) Fort Lauderdale High does not produce a ton of talent. The times they do most of their kids are under recruited. Riggins will most likely not be one of those. He is very impressive physically. He has all the skills to be an elite player at the next level. (Projected Level: P5) Holds P5 offers now. Not ranked at this time.

DE Shamar Meikle – Miramar HS, 6-5, 220 (2024) Shamar is a prospect we feel will start to draw more interest in the fall. He can rush the passer and those types of players come in high demand. He can get after the quarterback. He is athletic enough to drop into coverage and make plays. He is a guy I would keep an eye on. If defensive ends start to come off the board, Meikle is a prospect we could see many P5 programs go after. (Projected Level: P5/G5) Not Ranked

Ath. Jabari Brady, Monarch, 6-2, 190 (2026) He will be one of the top rated receivers in the class of 2026. You are looking at a player who may rank at the top of his class. He has elite size and speed. He can get behind a secondary. Brady is a player that everyone in the country is going to recruit. (Projected Level: P5) Not ranked at this time.

LB Jace Williams – Plantation HS, 6-2, 200 (2025):*Jace is a prospect that is not on many programs’ radars right now. That will change. Turn on his film and the kid flashes across the screen. He closes quickly on the ball carrier. He can flat out run. Linebackers with size and the ability to cover receivers and backs in space are hard to find. He should end up with plenty of P5 offers before it is said and done. (Projected Level: P5/G5) Does not have a profile on networks.

WR Joshua Moore West Broward HS, 6-3, 180 (2025):** Moore may end up the top-rated WR in South Florida next year. He is the best prospect to come out of West Broward. Moore has put on a show this spring. He has size, speed and will go up and get the football. (Projected Level: P5)

RB Javian Mallory-West Boca, 6-0, 200 (2026)** It is not often that West Boca has a player like Mallory on their roster… Mallory was impressive as a freshman last year. He reminded me of Alex Collins, who went to Arkansas and spurned Miami. (Projected Level: P5)** Not ranked

OT Fred Hinton – Port St Lucie, 6-6, 290 (2024): Watched him this past week. Hinton is big and can move. He is raw but 6-6 tackles are not easy to come by.Projected Level: P5/G5

OT – Deryc Plazz- Jax. Andrew Jackson – 6-6, 250 (2024):** Plazz may be the fastest rising lineman in Florida. It would not shock us to see Big Ten and SEC best programs get on him. Plazz has not even come close to his potential. You are looking at a prospect who may play on Sundays if he continues to develop. (Projected Level: P5) Ranked a three-star

DE Jalen Wiggins**]- Rickards, 6-4-240 (2025):** Outside of Plazz there may not be a faster-rising prospect than Wiggins. He is a prospect who can line up at defensive end or you could move him inside on pass rush downs. He can collapse the pocket. His ability to get up the field and into the backfield is quite impressive. (Projected Level: P5) Not Ranked
