Pre-Season Top 150 List – State of Florida

Pre-Season Top 150 List – State of Florida

Wesley Bissainthe – One of the best linebackers in the nation!

When it comes to talent there is no state in the country that produces more ELITE players then Florida. Every year the NFL Draft reminds us of the talent that come out of the sunshine state. This year Florida has some of the best defensive lineman they have ever produced. Four of the top ten players in Florida this year are on the defensive line. If games are won and lost in the trenches then this is the year to be living in the state of Florida if you are a college recruiter. We look forward to breaking down the sunshine state heading into another year of high school football.

  1. Marvin Jones Jr: American Heritage Plantation: DE: 6’4-225: College coaches are looking for top end pass rushers. There is not a better one in the country then Jones. He comes off the ball like a mad man. His initial burst off the ball allows him to blow by offensive tackles. He is very good at putting pressure on the quarterback.
  2. Shemar Stewart: Monsignor Pace: DE: 6’5-260: If Jones is 1A, Stewart is 1B. He has great size. His burst off the ball is elite. When you watch him in person you come away impressed with his ability to pursuit on the back side. He will not stop until the ball carrier is hunted down. He has the size to hold the edge on run plays. His versatility allows you to line him up anywhere on the field.
  3. Sam McCall: Lake Gibson: DB/Ath.: 6’1-200 (Committed to FSU): McCall is one of the top athletes in the country. He is being recruited as both a receiver and defensive back. McCall has very good technique. You will see him open up and run with receivers. He does not get turned around easily. He also has very good ball skills. You will see him jump routes and end up in the end-zone. He is also very physical. When McCall hits a receiver they go backwards.
  4. Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy: Lakeland: DT: 6’3-275: Dindy is one of the best defensive tackles in the country. He has very good size and length. He can clog up the middle of the field. He is very effective at getting off the ball quickly. His strength allows him to dominate the line of scrimmage. Here is a kid who plays like a grown man on the football field.
  5. Tyler Booker: IMG Academy: OT: 6’5-325: (Committed to Alabama): Booker will show his athletic ability when you see him playing fullback on some plays. He has great feet. He moves very well laterally. You will see he can handle elite level pass rusher. His hands allow him to dictate where a defender is going to go. He over powers the opposition with his strength. His technique is pretty good. He does have a tendency to bend over and reach a defender at times. This is something we feel that Booker needs to work on.
  6. Wesley Bissainthe: Miami Central: LB: 6’1-200: These days you need linebackers who are more like bigger safeties. Wesley fits that criteria. He has the size to play inside the box. His ability to cover backs and receivers in space is elite. He is also very good against the run. You will see him play like an old school linebacker and attack downhill. Wesley is one of the best linebackers to come out of South Florida in the past ten years.
  7. Nyjalik Kelly: Dillard: DE: 6’4-245: No player in Florida has seen a bigger jump in their stock then Kelly. He has great burst off the ball. His ability to get up the field and put the pressure on the quarterback is quite impressive. He plays with quickness off the edge. He has the size and length to set the edge on run plays. He is versatile enough to move him inside on pass rush downs and get pressure from the inside. Kelly has yet to reach his potential but when he does you are looking at an NFL prospect.
  8. Jaleel Skinner: IMG Academy: WR/TE: Skinner moves into the sunshine state and becomes one of the premier athletes in the 2022 class. He has great size. His ability to stretch the field and get behind defenders is quite impressive. He is the new breed of tight end in college football that can line up wide as a receiver or end up moving inside to inline block off the edge. He is a complete player who just made an already good IMG team even better:
  9. Kamari Wilson: IMG Academy: S:  6’1-190: Wilson has the size and range to play free safety in college. He has a great feel for the game of football. You will see him jump routes and take it back for a touchdown. You can line him up and let him play the run. He has very good change of direction skills. Wilson gives you a player with a nice combination of size and speed on the back end.
  10. Jaheim Singletary: Robert E. Lee: CB: 6’1-170: You want size and length in secondary and that is what Jaheim will give you. He also runs very well. We like that Jaheim is versatile enough to play corner or safety in college. He has very good coverage skills. He has the type of range that if you are late throwing the ball across the middle of the field, Jaheim will make you pay. You will see him on offense and Singletary has very good hands. He also has great football instincts
  11. AJ Duffy: IMG Academy: QB: 6’2-205 (Committed to FSU): Duffy is one of the premier quarterbacks in the country. He transfers to IMG where we expect him to have a monster senior season. He has a great arm. He anticipates very well. Duffy knows how to throw a receiver open. He does a very good job of leading his receivers. Duffy is a good enough athlete to also beat you with his legs.
  12. Kenyatta Jackson: Chaminade: DE: 6’4-230:  Jackson has all the physical attributes you want in a defensive end prospect. He has great size and speed off the edge. His size and length allow him to get off blocks and still make plays. He does not get broken down when one on one with an offensive player. He does a very good job of containing. Jackson is very good against the run. Most years he would be the number one defensive end in Florida. He just happens to be going against 3 elite other players this year for the top spot.
  13. Daylen Everette: IMG Academy: CB-6’0-180: (Committed to Clemson): His technique is very good. You are looking at an elite level cover corner. You can put him on an island and Daylan will shut down his size of the field. He does a very good job of not turning his head around until the moment is right. He understands the game of football. His footwork is a big reason why Daylen is so damn good at corner. It is hard for receivers to lose him.
  14. Julian Armella: Saint Thomas Aquinas: OT/OG-6’5-290: As a freshman most scouts felt Armella would be the top tackle in Florida. Now they are mixed in their feelings about how good this kid is. He comes from a football family. Armella has a bit of a mean streak in him. He will come off the ball and look for someone to hit. He is versatile enough to play tackle, guard or center in college. He has good footwork. His technique continues to improve all the time. We expect him to take his game to another level this fall and possibly end up a top ten prospect in Florida.
  15. Keon Sabb: IMG Academy: S: 6’2-200: (Committed to Clemson) Sabb comes from New Jersey and was one of the best prospects in that state. He now moves down to IMG where the competition will improve. He is a very good safety but it would not surprise us to see him move to linebacker in college. His strength is playing the run. He can drop back into coverage but we would rather see him in the box and playing closer to the line of scrimmage.
  16. Jacoby Spells: American Heritage Plantation: CB-6’0-170: (Committed to West Virginia): Spells was a receiver who converted to defensive back. He has great hands so it was a bit surprising he moved to corner. The move may end up paying off as Spells is one of the top rated corners in Florida this year. He is very aggressive. You will see Spells come up and hit a receiver. He is also very instinctive.
  17. Demario Tolan: Dr. Phillips: LB-6’3-200: (Committed to LSU): Tolan is a prospect that has blown up the past few years. He is a very good athlete who is going to end up at linebacker in college. We have had the opportunity to watch him run and Tolan is impressive. He is athletic enough to drop back into coverage. He can also come up and play the run. Tolan is a prospect that will need to keep working hard and continue to develop physically.
  18. Earl Little: American Heritage Plantation: CB: 6’0-170: Little has great technique. He is very well coached and comes from a football family. We like how aggressive Earl is one the football field. He has good instincts. His ability to play corner or safety at the next level makes him a priority for many college coaches. He can shut down an opposing team’s best receiver.
  19. Kaytron Allen: IMG Academy: RB: 6’0-200: (Committed to Penn State):  Allen is the top rated back in Florida this year. He has very good feet. You watch him and Allen is very patient for a running back. He has good vision. Once he sees an opening, Allen will exploit it. He is very subtle and then bam. He has very good top end speed and can pull away from defenders. He is also going to be a threat out of the backfield as a receiver.
  20. Dominick James: IMG Academy: DT: 6’3-270:  BIG. Kid has some nice size to him for an interior defensive lineman. He does a good job of using his hands. His strength is stopping the run. He is very strong and is tough to move off the ball. He just engulfs running backs. He gives you some pass rush from the middle of the line of scrimmage but that is not the strength of his game.
  21. Azareyeh Thomas: Niceville: S-6’3-175: Thomas is a prospect that can make an impact on offense or defense. He is a big, physical well put together prospect. He looks like a big time player when you turn on the film. He has good coverage skills for a defensive back. He moves extremely well for a big athlete. Here is a kid that has a brother who starts at Georgia Tech and is probably better then him at this time.
  22. Drew Shelton: IMG Academy: OT: 6’5-290: (Committed to Penn State): Shelton has played both offense and defense. Shelton has great feet. He does a very good job of getting in space and locking onto a linebacker. What we like is how Shelton gets on a defender and will just drive them off the ball. He is a finisher. He has a bit of a mean streak to his game. Shelton is a very good run blocker. You watch him get into space and it is not often that we see guys like him move like this.
  23. Jihaad Campbell: IMG Academy: DE: 6’4-220: (Committed to Clemson): Campbell was one of the top prospects in NJ before moving down to Bradenton. He is another one of those hybrid defensive end/linebackers that schools are looking for. He can rush the passer with his hand on or off the ground. He is athletic enough to play in space and act as an outside linebacker. His ability to chase down backs and receivers in space is what attracts the college coaches. You are looking at a prospect that if he puts it all together could end up one of the better players in this year’s class.
  24. Terrance Gibbs: Winter Park: RB: 6’0-200: (Committed to UF): Gibbs may be the best home grown back in the state of Florida this year. Gibbs gives you a back with a great combination of size and speed. He has the ability to get to the edge and outrun the defense. He is also very effective in the passing game. You are looking at a back that can help out both running and catching the football. His speed and quickness allow him to make plays that other backs his size can’t. He also will run over a defender if they get in his way.
  25. CJ Hawkins: Berekley Prep: TE-6’7-220: (Committed to Florida):  Hawkins is a former basketball player who turned to football. He has great size. When he develops you are looking at a potential NFL prospect. He does a very good job of high pointing the football. He uses his size well. He is very effective after the catch. Hawkins runs like a skilled player. CJ has not even come close to reaching his potential.
  26. Francois Nolton: Miami Edison: DE: 6’4-225 (Committed to UF): Nolton is a prospect we have known for a few years. He was first going to University of Miami camps and that is where he got to first showcase his talents. He has size, speed and athletic ability. His length allows him to fend off offensive lineman. He has a nice burst off the ball. Nolton has some nice pass rush moves. He can get off the ball and get into the backfield before a lineman can get a hand on him. He has to get better at the point of attack.
  27. Jack Pedersen: IMG Academy: TE-6’4-245 (Committed to UCLA): Pedersen is one of the best tight ends in the country. He will get the chance to shine this year at IMG. He will stretch out and try and attack the football. If the ball is thrown his way, Jack will come down with the ball. You can line him up off the ball, in the slot or out of the backfield and Jack will be a major problem for opposing defenses. He has also shown the ability to block.
  28. Markeith Williams: Orlando Evans: DB: 6’3-180: (Committed to Miami):  Williams has two traits you want in a defensive back, size and length. He does need to put some weight on his frame. He is a thin kid who is going to get outmuscled in college without putting on some weight. He needs to get stronger. What we do like is Williams can play safety or cornerback.
  29. AJ Johnson-Cardinal Newman: WR: 6’2-200: Johnson transfers in from Louisiana. He will be one of the top receivers in the state of Florida now. He gives you a receiver with a nice blend of size and speed. Look for him to make plays in the passing game. He will play at a school that is starting to bring in some nice prospects.
  30. Mason Taylor: Saint Thomas Aquinas: TE/DE: 6’4-250: (Committed to LSU): Physically there is not a prospect who made a bigger jump physically from the last time we saw him. Taylor plays tight end but we project him as a defensive end in college. He has the pedigree and with his physical attributes Taylor is going to see a ton of movement in his stock. He moves very well for a big athlete.
  31. Aaron Hester: Fletcher: DE/OLB: 6’3-220(Committed to Florida State): Hester is going to end up a pass rusher in college. He has good size to be an outside backer in college. His ability to get up the field and put pressure on the quarterback is his strength. He needs to get bigger and stronger to play defensive end in college.
  32. Greg Gaines: Tampa Bay Tech: WR: 6’2-175: (Committed to Iowa State):  Gaines is probably the best receiver in Florida this year. He has size and speed. He is also well put together for a receiver. He will easily be up over 200 pounds. What we like is Gaines goes up for the football. He is very aggressive for a football player. He does a very good at high pointing the football.
  33. Leyton Nelson: Orlando Boone: OT: 6’6-270: (Committed to UCF): Nelson is one of the better athletes to play tackle this year. He moves very well for a big guy. His frame will allow him to carry more weight. If he can get to 300 pounds and keep his athletic ability you are looking at an All-Conference type player. He is very good in pass pro. His ability to come off the ball and drive his defender backwards is also impressive.
  34. Aliou Bah: IMG Academy: OT: 6’6-325 (Committed to FSU):  Bah this off-season worked hard, got his body in much better shape. He trimmed about 30-40 pounds of his frame and this allowed him to become much better at moving laterally. He has very good strength. He is going to try and over power the guy in front of him. Bah moves well enough to play right tackle but most likely will play guard in college. He does give you some length either on the outside or in.
  35. Richard Thomas: American Heritage Plantation: DE: 6’2-255 (Committed to Indiana): Richard has been on the radar since his freshman season. We figured he would eventually grow into a defensive tackle. He will end up a defensive end in college. He can gain enough weight to move inside on passing downs. His ability to hold the edge and help in run support is the strength of his game. He is a very good player who should have a productive college career.
  36. Tony Livingston: Carroll wood Day: OT: 6’6-260 (Committed to Florida): Livingston is a very good athlete. He has played tight end, defensive end but we project him as an offensive tackle. He is a big kid who moves very well. He has very good length. You take these types of players all the time and then develop them. If Tony takes to the tackle position you are looking at a potential 2-3 year starter and an NFL prospect down the road.
  37. Jayden Gibson: West Orange: WR: 6’6-190: Gibson is a big, long receiver. He has great size. He is going to be a major threat inside the red-zone. Get him one on one with a smaller receiver and throw the ball up and let Gibson catch it. He does not have great speed. His size does allow him to get separation from defensive backs.
  38. Daniel Lyons: Homestead: DT: 6’4-270: (Committed to FSU): Lyons is a force on the inside. He is very good at pushing the pocket backwards. Lyons is very effective at getting into the backfield. Lyons is quick off the ball. He is also very strong at the point of attack. He is not the type of player you can just move off the ball. What you like is Lyons is athletic enough to make plays on the edge.
  39. Trevell Mullen: Coconut Creek: CB: 5’11-150: (Committed to Indiana): Mullen comes from a family that has produced some very talented defensive backs. Trevell is next in line and could end up the best of them all. He has very good coverage skills. He can lock down half of the field. He comes up and challenges every receiver that Mullen goes against. He is also very physical and will help out in the run game.
  40. Myles Rowser: IMG Academy: DB-6’1-180: (Committed to Arkansas): Rowser moves to IMG this season. He reacts very well to the ball when it is in the air. He will watch a quarterbacks eyes and attack the ball. He does need to work on his tackling. He takes angles on the football field that Myles will not get away with in college.
  41. Jaylin Marshall: Miami Central: DB-6’3-190 (Committed to Arizona State): Marshall is a prospect that will play safety in high school but may move to linebacker in college. He is another versatile athlete that can play multiple positions in college. He has the size and range to cover a tight end. He has the speed and quickness to play against receivers or backs in space
  42. Trent Ramsey: East Lake-OT: 6’5-275: Ramsey is not one of the elite tackles. He may not be the most athletic lineman on the board. What he does bring is a tackle with very good technique. You will see him not allow defenders to cross his face. He has quick feet enough feet to handle pass rushers. Trent is versatile enough to play multiple positions on the offensive line.
  43. Tre Donaldson: Florida High School: S: 6’2-200: Donaldson is one of the better defensive backs in the panhandle. He brings some size to the secondary. He is an in the box safety. His strength is his physicality and ability to play the run. He can drop back into coverage and does have some range. He is best when the ball is in front of him. When Donaldson has to turn his back and run then he is not as effective. It would not surprise us to see him play linebacker in some schemes.
  44. Zane Durant: Lake Nona: DE: 6’1-250: (Committed to Penn State): Durant is a versatile defensive lineman that can line up outside on run downs and move inside on passing downs. He has a quick first step off the ball. He is an athletic kid who can run by offensive lineman. He does a very good job of beating his guy off the ball and getting into the backfield. If he can get up 290-300 pounds you are looking at an interior lineman that has elite level quickness playing the defensive tackle spot.
  45. Jacorey Thomas:  Orlando Boone: Ath: 6’1-180: (Committed to Georgia): Boone is the ultimate Swiss army knife. He can do so many things on a football field. He can play receiver, running back, linebacker or even safety. His versatility is a big reason why so many colleges are after him. He is the type of player you sign and worry where to put him once on campus.
  46. Jordan Phillips: Ocoee: DT: 6’3-290 (Committed to Tennessee): Phillips is a player who has flown under the radar. He has a quick first step off the ball. He can provide a pass rush from the middle of the line of scrimmage. He can split and double team and shoot the gaps well. We like his ability to stuff the run. He uses his hands very well.
  47. Chris Greaves: Bishop Verot: Ath: 6’2-170: (Committed to Miami): If there is an underrated prospect in this year’s class, Greaves is it. He has very good size and length to play in the secondary. He is also not one that is going to shy away from contact. Chris is very physical for a defensive back. He can play press coverage, off coverage or just move inside to safety and play on the hash. His range allows him to be very versatile on the back end. He is someone that we feel will end up outliving his ranking. It would not surprise us to see him have a great college career.
  48. Mario Eugenio: Gaither: DE: 6’3-230: (Committed to Michigan): Feel like Eugenio is one of the most underrated players in the state of Florida. He can come off the edge like someone shot out of cannon. He has a very quick first step and is difficult for most offensive tackles to handle. He plays with good balance. You will see him stay low and make it difficult for tackles to get a hand on him. Look for Mario to end up a very productive player at the next level. He could end up having a better career then most of the guys ranked ahead of him.
  49. Brandon Cleveland: Carrollwood Day: DT: 6’3-270: (Committed to NC State): Cleveland has some athletic ability. On his first clip on his highlight film you see him deflect and ball and then pick it off. He can come off the edge and rush the passer. He is versatile enough to play defensive end or tackle in college. He actually uses his hands very well. We like how quickly he comes off the ball and gets into the backfield.
  50. Amari Niblack: Lakewood: Ath.-6’4-200: (Committed to Alabama): When you meet this kid is person there are not many prospects that look like him. Physically he looks like a major D1 prospect. We have seen him in a camp setting and have come away very impressed. Amari needs to put it all together on the football field. He has shown flashes of his potential. He has size and can run. He just needs to find a position at the next level and settle in. Amari is a high risk/high reward type prospect. He has the physical attributes to be a top 10-20 player in Florida.
  51. Daughtey Richardson: Miami Central: OT: 6’5-270: (Committed to FSU): You see the raw potential on film. He is a big, long, athletic lineman. He needs to become more consistent from one play to the next. He has a tendency to bend and reach for guys. That is something that won’t work at the next level. We would like to see him extend his arms, lock onto a defender and drive them off the ball. Richardson will come off the ball high at times. He loses leverage and can get off balance. The physical traits are there but Richardson needs to clean some things up.
  52. Anthony Hankerson: RB: 5’10-175: Hankerson is one of the most underrated players in the state of Florida. He is a very good athlete. We expect him to make an impact on special teams at the next level. He is also a back that can be very good in a spread offense. He has good hands and is difficult to cover in space. He is also a back that can go the distance anywhere on the football field.
  53. Jamari Lyons: Viera: DT: 6’4-290: Lyons was a prospect we first saw a freshman. Physically, he was much more impressive then teammates of his which were seniors at the time. He has the size to play inside and help stop the run.  What we like about Lyons is his physical strength. He just whips guys in front of him. That will not happen as easily in college but you can tell this kid is a very powerful human being.
  54. Jaylon Glover: Lake Gibson: RB: 5’7-195: (Committed to Utah): Glover is a very productive football player. His production is very impressive at the high school level. That being said he does not have the ideal size and speed to play running back in college. Hopefully he ends up like a Troy Davis who was undersized and had a great college career. Glover runs with power. He has very good balance. What he lacks is that top end speed you want to see out of the running back position.
  55. Keanist Thompson: Lakeland: DE: 6’4-230: (Committed to UCF): Thompson shows his athletic ability by playing both defensive end and tight end in high school. He will play tight end and block like an elite level kid. You line him up on defense and all he does is get after the quarterback. He has the size and strength to be able to play the run. You can move him inside and get pressure up the middle. His versatility is going to come in handy at the next level.
  56. Amarion Brown: Martin County: WR: 6’3-180 (Committed to Rutgers): Brown has the size (6’3) to be a very tough match up against smaller defensive backs. He runs solid routes. He hands are pretty good. He does a pretty good job of high pointing the football. Physically, he will need to put some weight on his frame. He needs to get much bigger and stronger to play against D1 defensive backs. He is a kid who is going to work hard to be a very good player in college.
  57. Jamaal Johnson: Chaminade: DE: 6’2-240: (Committed to UCF): Johnson is a very good pass rusher. He comes off the edge and gets by slower offensive tackles. His ability to get up the field and put pressure on the quarterback is what Johnson is best at. He does well playing the run at the high school level. Will he continue to have success stopping the run in college? He may have to play linebacker in college.
  58. Chandler Smith: Bishop Moore: Ath.-6’3-180: (Committed to UF): Smith is one of the fastest athletes in this year’s class. He finished at the top of the leaderboard in both the 100m/200m in Florida. When you have his size and speed there are going to be plenty of suitors for your services. His ability to stretch the field is why so many colleges will recruit him.
  59. Ryan Turner: Chaminade: CB: 6’0-180 (Committed to Ohio State): Turner is going to play behind one of the best defensive lines in South Florida. He can be very aggressive on the back end with the pass rush his teammates can provide up front. He gives you a defensive back with some size and length. He plays the ball very well. Turner will read the quarterbacks eyes and come up and make a play on the football. His football instincts set him apart from other defensive backs. Turner does a very good job of reacting once the ball is in the air.
  60. Jamaal Whyce: Florida Christian: DE: 6’4-250: (Committed to South Carolina): Jamaal is one of the most underrated defensive ends in Florida this year. Turn on his film and this kid gets up the field and can put pressure on the quarterback. You will see him manhandle guys across from him. He uses his hands very well. You will see him use a spin move and leave the offensive tackle grasping for air. He gets off the ball before the offensive tackle has a chance to put a hand on him.
  61. Austin Firestone: Niceville: OL/DE: 6’5-260: (Committed to Northwestern): Firestone plays both offensive and defensive line. He has a quick first step off the ball. He also uses his hands very well. You put him on offense and Firestone gives you a guy who can be used as a pulling guard or center. He can get out to a backer or defensive back in space. He will need to get bigger and stronger to play the next level. He is not a big framed kid so adding weight is not something that will come naturally for him.
  62. Dante Anderson: Homestead: DE/OLB: 6’3-210: Anderson plays defensive end but will end up an outside linebacker in college. He lacks great size and his body type is not going to allow him to put the necessary weight to play defensive end. His main strength is getting up the field and putting pressure on the quarterback. He needs to show the ability to play in space. Anderson also needs to show that he can cover receivers and backs in coverage.
  63. Jacari Henderson-Seminole: CB-6’0-165: Big fan of Henderson. He gives you some versatility on the defensive side of the football. You can play him at corner, safety or move him inside to the slot. He has the ability to change direction quickly. He is very aggressive on the defensive side of the football. He can also help on special teams.
  64. Shawn Miller: IMG Academy: WR: 6’1-190: (Committed to Illinois): Shawn runs very good routes. If he gets a free release most defensive backs will not be able to stay with him. He is very quick in and out of his breaks. He will put his foot in the ground and get separation. He understands how to manipulate a defender. He also has very good hands. You will see him go up and snatch the ball out of the air. When you need for Miller to block on the edge, he is very physical.
  65. Camden Brown: Saint Thomas Aquinas: WR: 6’3-200: (Committed to Pittsburgh): For those who have not seen Brown in person they will be impressive with his physical presence. He is one of the most physically gifted prospects on the board. He still needs to develop on the football field. Some teams may like Brown at receiver. Other teams may look at him as a tight end or possibly even a linebacker. He is a good enough athlete to play somewhere on the football field.
  66. Phillip Dunnam: North Miami Beach: WR/DB: 6’1-180: (Committed to Indiana): Dunnam may be one of the most underrated players in Dade County this upcoming season. He is a play maker on both sides of the football. When NMB needs a big play on offense it is Dunnam they turn to. On defense he is very aggressive. His football instincts make him one of the better defensive backs in South Florida.
  67. Hayden Schwartz: Jacksonville Bolles: DL: 6’4-250: (Committed to Nebraska): Hayden can play inside or out at the next level. He is another defensive lineman that brings some versatility up front. He plays with good technique. You will see him dip under a tackle and get pressure on the quarterback. He is very good at stretching out plays wide and allowing his teammates to come up and make a play. Hayden will fight off blocks and bring a ball carrier down. His strength is playing the run.
  68. Jyvonte McClendon: Lake Gibson: S: 6’2-170: (Committed to South Carolina): McClendon has as much upside as any defensive back in this year’s class. He has great size and McClendon can run. He does not have the hype of his teammates McCall and McClain but it would not shock us to see him have a better career in college. He runs very well. He also is not afraid to be physical when coming up in run support.
  69. Omar Graham: Stranahan: OLB: 6’1-210: (Committed to FSU): Graham is a player who lines up at defensive end. You will see him come off the edge and try and get pressure on the quarterback. He is not real big (6’1) and you have to wonder if he can play end in college. We feel Graham is going to have to play linebacker at the next level. The question then becomes can he play in space? Omar started off slow in recruiting and then blew up this spring.
  70. Travious Lathan: Gulliver Prep: LB: 6’2-200: Trey shows off his athletic ability as you will see him play on both offense and defense. He displays good overage skills. You will see him play the run. He has good football instincts. Lathan tackles well but you would like to see him be a little more physical. He is an all-around football player.
  71. Tawfiq Thomas: Gaither: DT: 6’4-320: Thomas is a guy who is going to take up space. He is big and very physical. You will be surprised to see someone his size get off the ball so well. He is a big, athletic lineman. He forces some teams to double team him. You will see his athletic ability when watching his film and Thomas runs a fade route and catches a touchdown. His size and strength make him very difficult to move off the ball.
  72. Nikai Martinez: Apopka: CB: 5’10-170: (Committed to UCF): Matrinez comes from a program that the players are very physical. One thing Nikai will do is set a quarterback up to make a mistake. He does a good job of knowing what the other team is trying to run on offense. He has good ball skills. His technique is also very good. Martinez is a sound player who does not make a ton of mistakes.
  73. Demari Henderson: Seminole: CB: 6’0-155: Demari is a very good football player. He helps shut down half the field. He has the speed and quickness to not only make an impact on defense but on special teams. He does need some work in the tackling
  74. Venson Sneed: Winter Park: DL: 6’5-250: (Committed to Tennessee): Sneed just dominates guys at the high school level. He will shoot the gaps and get into the backfield to make plays. He is very effective at playing the run. He is also very tough. You will see him line up as an offensive lineman and drive a defender back. He has good feet. He moves well for a big man. His strength is playing the run.
  75. Devin Moore: Naples: DB: 6’2-175: (Committed to Notre Dame) Moore has been one of Naples best players for the past few seasons. He has good technique. You will see him turn and run and then quickly change direction. He is fluid in his hips. His ability to play corner or safety also makes him more of a priority.
  76. Bishop Thomas: Bishop Moore: DT: 6’2-300: (Committed to FSU): Thomas is a prospect who transferred in from Louisiana. He is a big body lineman who can take on double teams. He is a guy who is going to be very effective at stuffing the run. He moves extremely well for a big man. He has the ability to take on blocks and allow his linebackers to clean up behind him.
  77. Davin Wydner: Cocoa: QB: 6’5-220: If there is a prospect that we could see developing into an NFL draft pick it is Wydner. He is further along as a high school prospect then Paxton Lynch who went to Memphis and ended up a 1st round pick. Wydner is a raw prospect but you can see his upside. He has a good arm and can make most of the throws asked of him.
  78. Mekhi Mason: Monsignor Pace-LB: 6’2-200: (Committed to Syracuse): Mason is one of the fastest rising linebackers in this class. He has the size and speed to match up against running backs and receivers in space. He is very effective against the run. His athletic ability allows him to be an every down backer. Mason can be used on passing downs. We also like his size as you can match him up against some tight ends as well.
  79. Jai-Ayviauynn Celestine: Miami Palmetto: Ath: 5’9-170: One of the most impressive performances in a spring game came from G7. He is very physical. There is not a more physical person pound for pound in the state of Florida. He also has very good speed and quickness. You watch him run and Celestine can make an impact on offense, defense or special teams.
  80. Zion Turner: Saint Thomas Aquinas: QB-6’1-180: Turner got some early recognition as a top quarterback and his hype slowed down a bit this off-season. Turner can throw the ball. He has pretty good accuracy. He is also a quarterback that can beat you with his legs. He still has a ton of room for improvement. If he puts it all together, Turner could end up a very good quarterback in college.
  81. Alfonzo Allen: Hallandale: S:  6’1-180 (Committed to Arizona State): Allen has very good range. You can put him anywhere on the back end of your defense and you will get results. He has the speed and quickness to help in coverage. He has the ability to make defenders miss on special teams. His feet are a big reason why we see him as a defensive back. He can make quick cuts and change direction well.
  82. James Monds: Vero Beach: CB: 5’10-180: (Committed to Indiana): Monds is a multi-talented athlete. You will see him line up on both sides of the football and on special teams. Here is a kid that has been on the radar since his freshman season. He has nice size and length and that is why we like him on defense. He has great feet. You watch him move around the back end of the defense and the game looks so easy for him. He also has very good instincts for a football player.
  83. Devaughn Mortimer: Dillard: Ath: 5’10-160(Committed to Florida State): Mortimer brings one trait to the table: SPEED. He is one of the fastest receivers in Florida this year. We expect him to at least make it as a special team’s player. He is a solid receiver. You would like to see him used more in the passing game. He will be great on jet sweeps.
  84. Kobe McCloud: Gaither: ILB: 6’1-210: Gaither is an inside linebacker. He is built like an inside backer. He runs like an inside backer. You put him between the tackles and McCloud will clean up and make plays. His size allows him to play physical. McCloud lacks the speed to play on the outside in college. Keep him between the tackles and that is where Kobe is most effective. He can play the flats and make plays. Having him drop down the middle of the field is not a strength of his.
  85. Leon Hart: Miami Edison: LB: 6’2-190: Hart is an old school linebacker. He is a physical kid who likes to come up and hit a ball carrier. He does not mind contact. Hart is a backer who has good instincts. He fills the hole and makes plays behind the line of scrimmage. We like that Hart is always moving forward. He does need to work on his technique.
  86. Cam Miller: Trinity Christian: DB: 6’0-170: (Committed to Penn State): Miller is a prospect that has great ball skills. He plays the football very well. He will bait the quarterback into bad throws. You will see him sit back, read the quarterbacks eyes and pounce. We like how well Miller comes up and tackles. He does not try and go for the big hit. You will see him take the proper angle and bring the receiver down.
  87. Edric Weldon: Hallandale:S: 6’5-210: Weldon plays safety but we project him as an OLB in college. His frame should allow him to carry the necessary weight to play linebacker at the next level. He has the range to be very productive on defense. We like how aggressive he is on the football field. His ability to make plays in space is also important. He has very good ball skills for a prospect with his size.
  88. Devin Smith: Oakleaf: LB: 6’2-230: Smith is a big, physical backer. He is listed at 235 pounds and looks every bit of it. He is a guy that can play the run. Smith is going to come up and fill the gaps and make plays. He can cover the flats. The question with Smith is can he drop back into coverage and cover a tight end or receiver in space?
  89. Marquis Lymon-Delray Atlantic-DB-5’10-180: Lymon is built more like a corner. You watch him play and Lymon may end up a slot corner at the next level. He is a guy you can play in space. He does go for some big hits. He needs to learn to take better angles when tackling.
  90. Matthew James: St. Andrews: Ath.: 6’1-170: James is one of the best athletes in Palm Beach County this season. Turn on his film and James is making big plays. When you play at a smaller program you want to make sure those kids dominate and that is what James does. He is a very good kid who is coachable. He can play multiple positions on the football field. Someone is going to get a very good prospect in the next few months.
  91. Christian Murphy: Dillard: OLB/DE: 6’0-215: Had the chance to watch him practice this spring and came away very impressed. He followed up his great performance in practice with a pick six in his spring game. Murphy is very fast and can close quickly on the ball carrier. Put him on the edge and let him rush the passer and Murphy will get the job done. He is another player who is underrated. We expect him to end up with multiple offers after summer camps are completed.
  92. Alton Tarber: Deerfield Beach: DT: 6’1-300: Tarber is going to end up a nose guard in college. He has a quick first step off the ball and can penetrate the backfield. He uses his hands well. Tarber has some nice strength. He will whip single blocks. He is a guy that is very stout against the run. He does not give you much as a pass rusher.
  93. Jamarian Burt: Trinity Catholic: Ath.: (Committed to UF): Burt has been used as a running back and now will play receiver. He has the type of speed and quickness to flip a field on one play. He is a one step and go type of back. Get him some blocks and Burt is in the opening and something special will happen.
  94. Rian Black: Rockledge: WR: 6’0-190 (Committed to Coastal Carolina): He has good size for a receiver. Black can play outside or move him inside to the slot. He is versatile enough to play multiple positons at the next level. Black is a receiver that will push his routes down the field. He forces you to play him short or deep. If the ball is under thrown, he will stop and make the adjustment to come down with it. You can throw it out front of Black and he will chase it down. He is very effective after the catch.
  95. Shomari Seymour: Plantation: OT: 6’5-270: Seymour is a work in progress. He does some things very well. There are other things he needs to work on. He tries to physically whip the guy opposite him because of the size advantage that Seymour usually has. He has good feet. You will see him get on his guy and drive them backwards. The talent is there but Seymour just needs to continue to work hard.
  96. Quan Lee: Buchholz: WR: 5’10-170 (Committed to UCF): You can turn on his film and this kid is aggressive on the football field. He goes up and attacks the football in the air. He is very physical on both offense and defense. You will see him sustain his blocks and take a defensive back out of a play. He can come over the top and help out in coverage. He is a very good athlete who will find a spot to play in college.
  97. Jaydon Hodge: Ocala Forest: DB: 6’2-170: Hodge is one of the most underrated players on the board. He has size and the kid is very physical. We like that he gives you some size on the back end of your secondary. He can come up and play the run. He is also very good in pass coverage. His ability to see the ball and react quickly is why so many teams will recruit him. Look for Hodge to make an impact at the next level.
  98. Brian Grant: Choctawhatchee: OT: 6’8-260 (Committed to Tennessee): Grant plays defensive line at this time. He is going to end up an offensive tackle in college. He is a former basketball player who decided to try out for football. He is a raw prospect but you can see his upside. He does not have enough burst to play defensive end. If he did play on the defensive line, Grant would have to move inside to tackle. His size, length and athletic ability is best served with him playing on offense. We will continue to monitor his progress this upcoming season.
  99. Decarlo Donaldson: Gulliver Prep:  TE-6’2-220 (Committed to Tulane): Donaldson is not your typical tight end. He has receiving like skills. You can line him up out wide as a receiver and let him go one on one with a defensive back. You can put him near a tackle and let him try and run by a linebacker. Donaldson can also line up in the backfield. His ability to move around on offense is going to be an offensive coordinators dream.
  100. Michah Pollard: Bartram Trail: LB-6’3-200: (Committed to Michigan): Pollard is going to give you a backer on the outside that has the size and length you want. He can drop back into coverage and get good depth. He is a productive player that can be moved around to take advantage of his skill set.
  101. Nick Campbell: Lake Minneola: DE: 6’3-260: (Committed to NC State): Campbell has the size to play strong side defensive end. He is a big, long, athletic prospect. What we like is his physical strength. He can physically whip the guy opposite him. He does very well at not giving up on plays. His strength is what allows him to overpower the guy in front of him. Campbell may not have those same advantages in college. He can also get pressure on the quarterback. Nick can move inside to tackle on passing downs
  102. Brian Dilworth: Chaminade: CB: 6’0-170: Dilworth gives you a defensive back with pretty good technique. He understands leverage. He will use the sideline as his friend. You will see him bait quarterbacks into poor throws. He does a good job of positioning himself between the receiver and ball.
  103. Jullian Lewis: Western: WR: 6’1-210: Lewis comes from a program that produced Elijah Moore. They have had a couple of other prospects end up in the NFL. He does a very good job of playing the football in the air. He does a very good job of high pointing the football. Lewis runs very solid routes. He does not have next level speed but the rest of his game is very good.
  104. Mason Thomas: Cardinal Gibbons: DE: 6’3-220: (Committed to Iowa State): Thomas is Gibbons best pass rusher. He does a good job of coming off the ball and reading the quarterbacks eyes. You will see him stop, jump up and either knock a ball down or intercept it. You will see him get up the field and be one on one with the ball carrier and Thomas does not get broken down. He is very effective against the run but Thomas does give you a solid pass rusher.
  105. Victor Jones: Olympia: WR-6’2-190: (Committed to Nebraska): Jones reminds us of Kenny Shaw who came out of Central Florida. He is a thin kid who just goes out and makes plays. He runs solid routes. You will see him get in and out of his breaks quickly. You will see him catch the ball and make something happen afterwards. Jones can catch the ball in traffic.
  106. Kedrick Debron: Gadsden County: RB: 6’0-200: Debron has flown under the radar. He is a bigger back that can make quick cuts and lose a defender. He can run between the tackles and pick up the tough yards. You will also see him bounce it to the outside and get big gains. He has good feet. He does not go down on first contact.
  107. Isaiah Hastings: Clearwater Academy: DL: 6’5-270: Hastings is a prospect to keep an eye on. He has good size and can take on a double team. He has pretty good strength. Hastings will be able to help against the run. He is a big bodied defensive tackle that can take on blocks. He has the size and length to be disruptive from the middle of the lie of scrimmage.
  108. Isaiah Gordon: Mainland: RB: 6’0-215: Gordon plays running back but it would not surprise us to see him move to linebacker in college. He is a physically impressive looking prospect. We could see him ending up weighing around 230-235 pounds in college. With his knowledge of playing on offense and converting him to defense, Gordon may be a natural on that side of the football. He has a punishing running style where Gordon does not mind initiating contact.
  109. Segree Graham: Bartram Trail-DT: 6’3-250 (Committed to Cincinnati): Graham is a defensive lineman that wins battles by out working the guy in front of him. He is a high energy guy with a motor that does not stop. He is not the biggest or most athletic player but Graham is productive on his side of the ball. He is very tough to run against because of how well he uses his hands. He can give you a rush from the inside but his run support is how Graham gets wins.
  110. Dominick Fields: Bartram Trail: 6’0-180: Fields is more of a strong safety. He does need to learn to tackle better. He comes in and then lowers his head and tries to go for a receivers or backs legs. Feilds is a guy that can run. You will see him flash speed and quickness that not many defensive backs will. Fields has good feet. What he needs to do is work on his technique. Fields is a prospect that is going to need to get coached up.
  111. Xavier Scott: Dwyer: Ath:  6’0-180: Scott is a prospect that goes out and gets it done on the field. He is another athlete who plays receiver and defensive back. On offense you will see him get behind the secondary. He can also catch a quick slant or wheel route and make a big play. He runs hard. Another year in the system at Dwyer and Scott will only get better.
  112. Mike Jackson: Miami Palmetto: WR-5’10-150: Worst case scenario Jackson just ends up on special teams. He can play slot receiver or possibly slot corner in college. He is not real big but Jackson has very good speed and quickness. He is difficult to cover in the open field. Get him in space and make sure to utilize his athletic ability.
  113. Anthony Rose: Miami Central: 6’4-190: (Committed to South Carolina): Rose is another long, athletic defensive back. He is raw but you can see the upside with this kid. If you are looking for some length and range in the secondary, Rose is that type of player. He has the ability to make an impact in the passing game. You see him drop into coverage and Rose has the length to disrupt where the ball is going.
  114. Paul Huston III-IMG Academy: DT-6’1-290: Hutson is a prospect can take on a double team and beat it. He plays right over the center and is disruptive. His strength is stopping the run. He lacks great quickness. You will see him get off the ball and just push the pocket backwards. Many of his wins are because Hutson is bigger and stronger then the guy in front of him. He will need to work on improving to have the same success in college.
  115. Dylan Lopez: IMG Academy: OC: 6’2-285 (Committed to Oregon State): Lopez is strictly a center. If he does not work out at that position maybe Lopez can play guard. There are not many guards these days who measure in at 6’2. He is a tough kid who plays with both good leverage and technique. He stays low and moves guys off the ball. He is one of the best center prospects in the state of Florida this year.
  116. Melvin Jordan: Calvary Christian: LB: 6’0-200: (Committed to Oregon State): Jordan is a very good linebacker. He has been on the recruiting radar since his freshman season. Many times when a guy plays that early they get picked apart. You turn on his film and this kid is all over the field. He has good instincts and understands the game of football. He is not the biggest or fastest player but Jordan makes plays.
  117. Websley Etienne: Western: DB: 5’11-170: (Committed to Buffalo):  Etienne is a prospect that has flown under the radar. He plays safety but it would not surprise us to see him play some corner in college. He is a prospect that is always around the football. He knows when to initiate contact with a receiver.
  118. Elijah Hopkins: Vanguard: CB: 5’10-160: (Committed to Coastal Carolina): Hopkins is a prospect that comes from a program that produces a ton of talent. He is next in line to take his talents to the next level. He has above average size and solid speed. His athletic ability allows him to play multiple position. You watch him play running back and he has some wiggle to his game. He can make defenders miss. He has quick feet which is why we like him on the defensive side of the football.
  119. James Smiley: Armwood: RB: 6’0-190: Smiley has some elusiveness to his game. Backs like him usually don’t move like Smiley does. He can run between the tackles with either power or finesse. He is a strong back that is going to drag defenders with him and you tackle Smiley wrong. He has patience and will wait till an opening is there and then shoot through. You will see Armwood use him in the screen game and Smiley does very well.
  120. Maurice Jones: Killian: RB-5’9-180 (Committed to Marshall): Jones will most likely end up the best back in South Florida. He has very good balance. You will see him get hit, keep his feet and break off a long run. He runs with power and for someone his size it is impressive. We like how well he sets up a defender and breaks them down. You are looking at a back that could make a name for himself this year.
  121. OJ Ross: Cocoa: RB: 5’10-170: Ross is listed as a running back but can play multiple positions in college. He is a very good athlete. You watch his feet and Ross can make the first and second defender miss in the open field. His feet are a big reason why we could see him playing corner in college. His elusiveness may make it tough for some coaches to take him off offense.
  122. Aidan Gousby: Lehigh: Ath: 6’2-190: (Committed to Minnesota): Aidan has the size and length to play receiver, linebacker or defensive back. Here is another versatile athlete that you sign and worry about where to play him once in college. We like his physicality on the football field. He does not back down from a challenge. You can get him the ball on offense and Goulsby will score. You can drop him back into coverage and Aidan will help out in the passing game. He is a complete player and should have a very good career.
  123. Keaton Thomas: The Bolles School: WR: 6’2-210: Thomas has big hands. He will go up and snatch the ball out of the air. He has good hands and if the ball is anywhere near him, Thomas will catch the ball. He is a guy that is going to be tough on crossing routes. Smaller receivers can’t body him up. He shows his athletic ability to special teams. Thomas is a much underrated player and should make an impact in college.
  124. Jaziun Patterson: Deerfield Beach: RB: 5’10-170: Patterson is built well. He has a strong upper and lower body. He can run through tackles and get into the open field. His style of running reminds us a little of Devonta Freeman. He runs with good balance. You rarely see him go down on first contact. What we like most is Patterson will lower his shoulder and run you over. He is also a player that can be effective in the passing game.
  125. Joanes Fortlien: Dr. Phillips: WR: 6’3-210: Joanes is another big bodied receiver. He is more of a possession receiver then a deep threat. Joanes will help move the chains. He is also effective at going across the middle of the field and making the tough catch. He could eventually grow into an H-back in college.
  126. Josiah Lancaster: Plant City: OT: 6’5-320: Lancaster has size. He is a big body lineman that once he gets on a defender Josiah locks them up. He has strong hands. We like how well he moves guys off the ball. He can play tackle but it would not surprise us to see him play guard. Josiah can handle an up field pass rusher. It is when then come back inside he could get off balance and beaten on a play.
  127. Jason Searphin: North Miami Beach: OL: 6’3-300: Jason is one of those players that comes from a program where they produce in college. He is not the biggest but there are not many players who are more physical. He can come off the ball and drive his guy backwards. He is very physical and his strength is run blocking. In pass pro there are some things that Jason will need to learn. He is versatile enough to play guard or center in college.
  128. Trequan Alexander: Tampa Jesuit: OG: 6’3-290: Alexander is a versatile lineman. You will see him line up at tackle and we feel that he could play guard or center at the next level. He moves well for a big guy. You will see him get onto a defender and finish them. He will drive a defender back into the ground. His feet are a big reason why we like him so much. When big guys are nimble on their feet they are able to handle top pass rushers. He is a very good player who should find a home at the next level.
  129. Jeremiah Jackson: Kathleen: OG: 6’3-275: Jackson is a road grader. He comes off the ball and tries to punish the guy opposite him. He has some nice toughness. Here is a lineman that likes to fire off the ball and drive a defender into the turf. He has pretty good feet. You will see him move well laterally.
  130. Delizaire Basette: American Heritage Plantation: DT: 6’2-275: (Committed to Syracuse): He is more of an athletic defensive lineman than a guy who is going to take up space. He is very active up front and can disrupt what you are trying to do on offense. He relies on his quickness to beat the guy in front of him. We would still like to see him get stronger in his lower body. If he works hard at the next level you are looking at a two year starter.
  131. Gabriel Jacas: Fort Pierce Central: DE: 6’4-230: (Committed to Tulane): Jacas has a successful wrestling background. He is quick off the ball and does a good job using his hands. He is not easy to move off the ball. His strength allows him to dictate to an offensive lineman where they will go. He may get big enough to move inside on passing downs. Jacas is an underrated defensive end and we would not be surprised if this kid ends up an All-Conference type player down the road.
  132. Daterius Lee: Deerfield Beach: ILB: 6’0-215: Lee is listed as an OLB but we project him to move inside at the next level. He is an in the box type player. We like that his physical style of play will fit inside. He is the type of player  you can put him on special teams and Lee will make some plays. You will see him used as a pass rusher off the edge. He does close quickly and that is one of the things that makes him such a good prospect.
  133. Julian Calvez: Orlando Jones: QB-6’2-170: Calvez is a project. He has the physical attributes such as a nice arm, he can make all the throws. Julian just needs to work on his consistency. He is not always on the mark. When he has time to throw and Calvez is on there are not many better quarterbacks in Florida.
  134. Eden James: Treasure Coast: RB/Ath.-5’10-170: James plays quarterback but we project him more as an athlete. He can play running back, receiver or defensive back. When Treasure Coast needs a big play they turn to Eden to come through. He is just a good football player. He does not have great size and has above average speed. There are just some guys that the lights come on and they perform at a high level and James is one of those players.
  135. Kareem Burke: Raines: WR: 6’0-170: (Committed to UCONN): Burke is a very good high school football player. He is a receiver that makes a ton of plays after the catch. He can make a defender miss in the open field. If you let Burke get behind your secondary you will most likely see him in the end-zone.
  136. Eddie Kelly: Orlando Jones: WR: 6’5-210: Kelly is a big target. He is a receiver that is going to move to tight end in college. He has great size and Kelly is a miss-match against most defenses. The fact that you can line him up anywhere on the offensive side makes him a luxury for an offensive coordinator.
  137. Derrell Johnson: Lee High School: OG: 6’3-270: (Committed to Wake Forest) Johnson comes off the ball and moves people. You will Johnson get his hands on a defender and get them on skates. He is very physical off the ball. He moves extremely well for a big man. He is a guy that is athletic enough to play tackle in college. He is big, strong and physical enough to move inside to guard. He has good feet and plays with balance. His technique for a high school lineman is solid.
  138. Tellek Lockette: Saint Thomas Aquinas: OG: 6’3-260: Tellek is a kid that has played on some successful football teams. He now moves over to Saint Thomas where he will be part of one of the best offensive lines in the state of Florida. Lockett does need to work on his technique. He will have a tendency to lunge at a defender. He must also work on his lower body strength. If he improves those two areas of his game, Tellek will end up a solid college lineman.
  139. Rasheed Lovelace: Pine Forest: DT: 6’3-300: Lovelace is very good against the run. He does a very good job of pushing the pocket back and making it difficult for a running back to find a running lane up the middle of the field. You will see him use his hands. He is very strong. Lovelace can dominate the point of attack.
  140. Daveon Crouch: Tampa Wharton: Ath.-6’2-190: (Committed to Boston College): Crouch is a very smart and instinctive athlete. He understands what the offense is trying to do before the ball is snapped. He can line up at multiple positions on the defensive side of the football. With his athletic ability, Crouch is very effective at moving around the defensive side of the ball and making plays.
  141. Elijah McCantos: Miami Edison: CB: 6’1-170: McCantos gives you a corner with some size. He is built more like a safety than a corner. He goes against the opposition’s best receiver each week. When tested, McCantos is up to the challenge. He can be a lock down corner in some games. One thing you notice is his ability to change direction. A receiver can try and run a double move on McCantos and he won’t get broken down.
  142. Cornelius Wright: Columbus: CB: 5’10-165: Wright comes from a high school that has produced some very good defensive backs of late. Joshua Jobe, CJ Henderson, Trajan Bandy are all guys who went through Columbus and had very good college careers. Wright is next in line. He is a very aggressive corner. You will see him bait a quarterback and then go back and intercept the ball. He has very good make up speed. He can close quickly on a ball carrier. His technique is something we would like to see him improve on.
  143. Darius Thomas: Miramar High School: DB: 6’3-190: Thomas is a prospect that is about to blow up. He is one of the best looking safety prospects in the country. He has great size and athletic ability. The way Thomas moves it would not surprise us to see him play linebacker in college. He has the ability to drop into coverage and cover tight ends and receivers. His size allows him to come closer to the line of scrimmage and play the run.
  144. Matthew Merritt: Andrew Jackson: Ath: 6’3-170: Merritt is a prospect that has all the physical attributes you want in a defensive player. He has the size and length to play safety or linebacker. He could eventually grow into a linebacker. Merritt is a prospect that plays well in space. He can also play inside the box and help in run support.
  145. Reece Dobard: Delray Atlantic: WR: 6’5-200: Dobard dominated his spring games. He was able to go and high point the football over any defensive back that lined up against him. Dobard does not have elite level speed but his size and route running ability make him a tough guy to guard. You will see Reece physical whip smaller defensive backs. We expect his stock to rise after the spring.
  146. Rocco Becht: Wiregrass: QB-5’11-170 (Committed to Iowa State): Becht father was a tight end in college and played in the NFL. The younger Becht does not have his father’s physical attributes but more then gets by with them at the quarterback position. Here is a kid that can manage a game. He understands where his outlets on the field are. He gets the ball in his play maker’s hands and allows them to make a play after the catch. He is a solid player who should have a productive career at the next level.
  147. Rhyland Kelly: Clearwater Academy: CB: 6’2-185 (Committed to Minnesota): Kelly is a prospect that gives you size and length in the secondary. He also has pretty good speed for a guy his size. You will see him run down a fast receiver in the first clip of his highlights. He has the range to really disrupt opposing teams passing attacks. Kelly plays with good technique. He does not allow receiver to beat him deep. He seems to understand the game of football.
  148. Matthew McDoom: West Orange: Ath.-5’8-160: (Committed to Coastal Carolina): Matthew is an elite level athlete. He can beat you on offense, defense and special teams. Some coaches will want to have his hands on the ball. Other coaches will like his aggressiveness and put him on defense. It is a good situation to have as McDoom should make an impact at the next level.
  149. Jaron Glover: Sarasota Riverview: WR: 6’3-180: (Committed to Michigan State): One thing Jaron has is size. He is a big kid. We also like that for his size that he is not stiff. He can make a defender miss in the open field. We would like to see him use his size to catch the ball. No reason not to high point the ball. He has a major size advantage and should use it.
  150. Xavier Townsend: Berkeley Prep: Ath: 5’10-175: (Committed to Iowa State): Townsend is a very good athlete. You will watch him and the kids got quick feet. He does not waste much motion to get into the open field. You will see him make defenders miss and turn on the after burners. He is a very good athlete that just needs the opportunity to shine. He is not afraid to go up and get the football. He will challenge defensive backs on every play.
