Florida Top 150 (CLASS OF 2017)

One of top DB's in the nation going to Ohio State!NSD is here as the top prospects in Florida decide their future on Wednesday Feburary 1st, 2017. The class of 2017 will once again produce over 350 prospects which will sign with D1 programs. This year will be no different then many in the past where some of the top prospects head out of  state. Shaun Wade who is one of the premier defensive backs in the nation will sign with Buckeye Nation. We look forward to seeing where some of the other top prospects land. For more coverage of NSD-2017 stay tuned into ESS as we will break down some of the players who sign on the dotted line tomorrow. 

1) Alex Leatherwood-Pensacola Booker HS-OT-6’5-320-(Committed to Alabama): You meet Leatherwood in person and you would think he was a grown man. You could put him at either tackle or guard spots and Leatherwood would excel. For such a big human being, Leatherwood moves extremely well. He is very good as a pass blocker but Leatherwood will punish a defender when run blocking.

2) Joshua Kaindoh-IMG Academy-DE-6’6-260: (Committed to Florida State): The Maryland transplant is one of the top defensive line prospects in the country. He has everything you look for in a defensive end prospect: size, athletic ability and a great burst off the ball. He can get up the field and put pressure on the quarterback or hold the point of attack and stop the run. He is one of the more complete players at the defensive end position in the 2017 class.

3) Dylan Moses –IMG Academy –LB-6’2-230: (Committed to Alabama): Moses has been on the recruiting radar for over four years. He brings great size, speed and athletic ability to the linebacker position. He is one of the few linebackers that can drop back into coverage or play close to the line of scrimmage. Moses has the instincts to be an elite level linebacker in college right when he steps on campus.

4) Stanford Samuels-Flanagan-CB-6’2-170: (Committed to Florida State):  When you draw up an ideal cornerback prospect look no further then Samuels. He has the size, speed and length to play the position at an elite level. Samuels is very fluid for a big defensive back. Samuels is very competitive and wants to face the other teams No. 1 receiver. He is very confident that no other receiver will get the best of him.

5) Jerry Jeudy-Deerfield Beach-WR-6’2-185 (Committed to Alabama): If there is one word to describe Jeudy: PLAYMAKER. Jeudy is one of the most dangerous football players in the nation. He is capable of taking a pass from anywhere on the field and going the distance. He is very hard for opposing defensive backs to cover. Put Jeudy on defense at the next level and you are looking at a potential first-round pick on that side of the ball.

6) Shaun Wade-Trinity Christian-CB-6’2-190 Committed to Ohio State)Wade and Samuels are the top two defensive back prospects in Florida this year. Wade has very good football instincts and can shut down an opposing team’s top receiver. He has the type of size and speed that college coaches covet. Wade also has very good ball skills. He can be used at both cornerback and safety in college.

 7) Navaughn Donaldson-Miami Central-OT-6’5-340-(Committed to Miami): University of Miami needed a top tackle prospect and got one. What makes Donaldson so tough to get around is his pure mass. He is so big that defensive ends are going to struggle just to get around him. His strength at this time is as a run blocker. He needs to trim down to around 315-320 pounds to be an effective pass protector.

8) Jarez Parks-Sebastian River-DE-6’4-235: First time we met Parks at Sebastian River, he walked into the room and you could tell he was a football prospect. He is versatile enough to play defensive end or possibly even grown into an interior lineman at the next level. He relies on his constant pressure to get to the quarterback. He also is very stout against the run.

9) Vandarius Cowan-Palm Beach Gardens-OLB-6’4-220-(Committed to Alabama): Physically there are not many other linebackers nationally as talented as Cowan. He can drop into coverage and cover a receiver or back like a defensive back. Bring him off the edge and Cowan can be an elite pass rusher. Cowan is very talented but still needs to develop and mature.

10) D.J. Matthews-Trinity Christian-WR-5’11-165-(Committed to Florida State): Matthews is the jack of all trades. Up until this season he was a top-rated receiver. This year Trinity Christian put him at quarterback and he was electric with the ball in his hands. He has ankle breaking type cutting ability. You get him one on one with a defender and there are not many who can bring him down. Matthews has all the talent in the world. He will need to add some weight to have an impact as a freshman.

11) Tedarrell Slaton-American Heritage Plantation-OL-6’4-330: When was watched TJ play this year he would dominate the guy opposite him. Against Tampa Jesuit in the state playoffs, he just wore his guy down by the end of the game. Slaton plays tackle in high school but we expect him to be guard at the next level.

12) Cesar Ruiz –IMG Academy-Center: 6’4-320-(Committed to Michigan): Ruiz comes from New Jersey. He would have been one of the top players up in the Northeast. His move to Florida propelled him to the top of the list for Center prospects. He is a big, wide body kid who can push defensive tackles backwards. He is a very good run blocker. He comes off the ball well and gets to the 2nd level as well as any interior lineman in the state of Florida.

 13) Ja’Len Parks-Newberry –DT-6’4-295 (Committed to Florida State): Parks is probably the top rated defensive tackle in Florida. He is a big, athletic, tackle who is not easy to move off the ball. His strength is playing the run. He is the type of player who will demand the double team and allow his linebackers to clean up behind him. He can push the pocket and force a quarterback into the arms of one of his defensive ends.

14) Zaquandre White-North Ft Myers-RB-6’0-215-(Committed to Florida State): White is not talked about much but that does not mean he is not a great running back prospect. He has size, speed and quickness you want in an elite level back. He also has great hands and his body control is second to no other back. His speed allows him to just glide by defenders. His quickness makes him very difficult when one on one with a defender.

15) Trevon Grimes-St. Thomas Aquinas-WR-6’4-200-(Committed to Ohio State): Grimes was one of the top receiving threats in the nation before getting injured against Bishop Gorman. We expect him to regain his form at Ohio State and be one of the top receivers in College football 2-3 years from now. He runs very good routes. He is going to be very effective inside the red-zone and on third down. Grimes have very good hands and can adjust well to the football when it is in the air.

16) Tre McKitty-IMG Academy-TE-6’4-230-(Committed to Florida State): Three years ago at Sling and Shoot ESS saw a receiver prospect from Wesley Chapel High School that impressed us. That prospect was none other than McKitty. The talented tight end is smooth running across the middle of the field. He will be a match up nightmare for opposing defenses. If he played on defense, Tre would be one of the top ranked defensive ends in Florida.

17) Chris Henderson-Columbus-Athlete: Henderson has elite level speed and athletic ability. When you look at his physical attributes, Henderson has the potential to be a first round pick one day. Henderson has all the physical tools to become an elite defensive back in college. His speed and quickness is as good as any defensive back in Florida.

18) Isaiah Pryor-IMG Academy-6’2-190—(Committed to Ohio State): Pryor committed early to Ohio State. He gives you a safety with linebacker size. He is a big kid who can run. He is best suited to playing near the line of scrimmage. He can also play in coverage and be very effective. With his range, Pryor can play either safety spot and be effective.

 19) Cyrus Fagan-Mainland-Safety-6’2-190-(Committed to Florida State): Fagan was a prospect we first spotted while he was attending Atlantic High School in Daytona. The gifted athlete turned into one of the premier safeties in the nation. He has the type of size and range college coaches covet. He is also very physical for a defensive back.

20)Jhamon Ausbon-IMG Academy-WR-6’3-220-(Committed to Texas A&M): You watch him in person and Ausbon looks like a guy who should be playing on Sundays. He has the size, speed and athletic ability you want in a receiver. He is a very difficult match up for smaller defensive backs. He does seem to struggle at times catching the football. As big as Ausbon is, we would like to see him try and catch the football away from his body more. He has a tendency to allow the ball to get into his body.

21) Grant Delpit-IMG Academy-DB-6’2-175-(Committed to LSU): Delpit came from Louisiana and was one of the top prospects. He comes to Florida which is littered with top flight defensive backs. He has the size of a linebacker and speed you want in a defensive back. He is a very physical player who can play in space or close to the line of scrimmage.

22) James Robinson-Lakeland-WR-6’3-200: Robinson is physically one of the more impressive receivers in the nation. He has size and speed. He needs to become a more disciplined route runner and off the field. He also needs to just become more consistent from week to week. Talent wise there are not many players who have more upside. Robinson is a top ten talent from a physical standpoint. Can he get it done off the field, that is a question that must be answered.

23) Marco Wilson-American Heritage Plantation-CB-6’0-180-(Committed to Florida): Marco is the brother of Quincy Wilson who has starred at University of Florida. Marco is not as big and physical as his brother but he may be the better athlete. He is another defensive back that displays a ton of confidence. Even when he gets beat on a play, Wilson comes back and will challenge his guy again.

24) Nick Brahms-Navarre-OG-6’4-285-(Committed to Auburn): Auburn landed one of the more underrated players in Florida. Brahms is a kid who got overlooked because of where he plays high school football. He is a big, physical kid who is not easily intimidated. He is an effective run blocker and his skill set should sit well with what Auburn likes to run on offense.

25) Shawn Davis-Southridge –CB-6’0-180-(Committed to Florida): Davis is a pure lock down corner. He has the size to match up against bigger receivers and the speed to line up in the slot. He is a tough, hard-nosed football player. He likes the challenge of matching up against the other team’s top receiver. He is also going to be able to help you out in run support.

26) Kellen Mond-IMG Academy-QB: (Committed to Texas A&M): One thing that is so important with quarterbacks is accuracy. Mond can thread the ball into tight spots with his accuracy. He is able to push the football up the field and throws a very catchable ball. His ability to lead a receiver on his routes is what is most impressive. He is also pretty good with the ball under his arm. Mond will be able to contribute right away in college. 

27) Kai-Leon Herbert-American Heritage Plantation-OT-6’5-280-(Committed to Miami): Herbert is one of the most improved players we have watched over the past two years ago. Here is a kid who has started to reach his potential. When we first saw him play at Cardinal Gibbons three years ago, Herbert was not even close to what he is now. He has good size (6-foot-5) and length. His arms allow him to lock up defensive ends off the edge. He is much better at pass blocking at this time.

28) Daniel Wright-Boyd Anderson-DB-6’2-175-(Committed to Alabama): Wright is the brother of former Florida Gator and NFL player Major Wright. Daniel is not the big hitter his brother was, but he may be the better athlete. He is athletic enough to take reps at cornerback but where he will make his biggest impact will be at safety. He gives you a defensive back with nice size and range. His length will also be a plus in the secondary.

29) Darrian Felix-Ft Myers-RB-5’11-195-(Committed to Oregon): Felix gives you a back with track speed and size. He is one of the best all-around backs in the state of Florida. He can run between the tackles and pick up the tough yards. He has the speed and quickness to get to the edge. He is also a threat out of the backfield as a receiver. 

30) Jordan Anthony-IMG Academy-LB-6’1-210-(Committed to Michigan): One position that has been hurt by so many teams going to spread offenses is linebacker. Players like Johnson become that much more important because they can drop into coverage and come up and play in run support. If a linebacker struggles to do both in this day and age of spread offenses they probably won’t see the field that much. Anthony is one of the few linebackers that fit that description.

31) Adarius Lemons-Clearwater-RB-6’1-190: If you went off straight physical talent: size, speed and athletic ability, Lemons would be a top 10-15 player in Florida this year. He has five-star talent but off the field needs to understand what it takes to become an elite player. Lemons will be a prospect that either lives up to his potential and ends up a first-round pick or never plays a down in college. Not many players at any level with his size and speed. 

32) N’Kosi Perry-Vanguard-QB-6’3-170-(Committed to Miami): Perry is one of the most gifted quarterbacks to come out of Florida the past few years. He has a very good arm and can make pretty much every throw you ask of him. He is also very accurate on his deeper passes. He can really push the ball down the field. He is also a very good athlete who can beat a defense with his legs. With a red-shirt season and a year to physically develop there is no question that Perry can become a very good quarterback in college.

33) Zachary Carter-Hillsborough-DE-6’5-245 (Committed to Florida): Cater is listed as a defensive end but we could see him moving inside at the next level. He is a big, athlete kid who can disrupt the opposing offense from anywhere on the line. He relies on his brute strength to overpower opposing lineman. He can give you a pass rush from the edge or from inside.

34) Daquon Green-Tampa Bay Tech-WR-6’1-190-(Committed to Florida): First time we saw Green he was a freshman. He was performing at a very high level at Sling and Shoot. The talented receiver was already physically prepared for the top defensive backs. He has good size and above average speed. His route running has continued to improve each time we have seen him live.

35) Robert Hainsey-IMG Academy-OT-6’5-280-(Committed to Notre Dame): Hainsey is a big, physical kid who will most likely do better inside. He tries to physically whip everyone that is in front of him. In college he will not be able to get away with that. His lateral movement will be tested by quicker defensive lineman. If he gets his hands on you the play as may well be whistled dead.

 36) Juwan Burgess-Tampa Plant-6’0-190-(Committed to Indiana): Burgess has played on both sides of the football and excelled. His game is more tailored made to playing on defense. He is a bigger, more physical safety. He has the ability to come up and get physical in the run game. He also has the speed and quickness to play the pass. He plays the game with a ton of intensity and it shows on the football field.

 37) Colin Wilson-Clay-RB-6’1-220-(Committed to Louisville): His freshman and sophomore film is as good as you will see from a high school running back. Not since C.J. Spiller played at Union County has the North Florida area seen a back with his size and speed combination. He has the ability to break off a long run anytime Wilson touches the football. He just needs to stay healthy to reach his potential. It would not surprise us to see him have one of the best college careers of any back in the 2017 Class.

 38) Kadeem Telfort-Booker T. Washington-OT-6’6-300-(Committed to Florida): Telfort started his career at Miami Norland. He is not as far along as Erick Flowers who played at Norland but Telfort could have the same type of career. What Telfort lacks compared to some of the guys rated above him is pure athletic ability. Telfort is massive and will use his size to overpower the opposition at the next level. We feel his skill set projects more as a right tackle.

 39) Malik Davis-Tampa Jesuit-RB-5’11-210-(Committed to Florida): We had a chance to watch Davis at a football camp this past summer. While he performed well, Davis exceeding our expectations in the playoffs. He gives you a back that runs hard. The more you give him the football the better Davis gets. He is a back that you can give the football 20-25 times a game and he will wear a defense out. We would like to see him used more in the passing game because that is where we feel Davis can make even more of an impact.

40) Cory Durden-Newberry-DT-6’5-300-(Committed to Florida State): Durden is a very good athlete. He played tight end and will most likely play defensive tackle in college. When you have the size and athletic ability that Durden has college coaches are going to covet you. His senior film is as good as any prospect on this board. 

41) DeAndre Wilder-Carol City-LB-6’3-215-(Committed to Miami): Wilder plays one way: AGGRESSIVE. He is a prospect that was well known his sophomore season. He continued to play at a high level his junior year. He had a good start to 2016 until having to sit out because of an age limit. Wilder can plays with bad intentions. He has the ability to come up and play physical against the run. He also can put pressure on the quarterback off the edge. He is a very good blitzing linebacker and should fit well in Miami’s new defensive scheme.
42) Dillan Gibbons-Clearwater Central Catholic-OG-6’4-310: (Committed to Notre Dame): Gibbons is a big interior lineman. He can take on a speed rusher from the inside. He can also handle defensive lineman who play with power. He is a guard/center prospect who can be used as a pulling lineman.

43) A.J. Davis-Lakeland-RB-6’0-190: Davis has been a known prospect for the past three seasons. He has deceptive speed. You will see him get to the end level and pull away from defensive backs and linebackers. He also runs with some power. You will see him break tackles and pick up the extra yardage. His ability to get to the edge is what makes him a prospect that could do very well in a spread offense.

44) Blake Vinson-North Marion-OT-6’5-300-(Committed to Clemson): For a state that is not known for producing offensive linemen this could be one year where that is not the case. Vinson has flown under the radar since committing early to Clemson. He is ideal for what Clemson likes to run on offense. He is a big kid who can move very well. He is also versatile enough to play either tackle or guard spot for Clemson.

 45) Jonathan Ford-Dillard-DT-6’4-260-(Committed to Miami): Ford is a very talented defensive lineman. He can play defensive end or tackle in college and be effective. He has nice burst off the ball and will not get broken down by a back or receiver in space. He can redirect well for a bigger guy. He also plays hard and will give you a pass rush from the edge or inside at tackle. His strength is stopping the run.

46) James Blackman-Glades Central-QB-6’5-175-(Committed to Florida State): Three years ago we saw Blackman perform at a 7 on 7 tournaments. He performed so well we started to follow Blackman. Three years later he worked himself into a P5 quarterback. He has a very good arm and can make pretty much every throw. What Blackman needs to do is take a red-shirt and add some weight to his thin frame.

 47) Kemore Gamble-Southridge-TE-6’4-235-(Committed to Florida): Gamble reminds us of former Gator tight end Jordan Reed. He is not your typical tight end prospect. You can line him up wide and match him against a linebacker. More times than not that is a match up that will favor Gamble. He is difficult to cover because of his physical strength. He has good hands and inside the red-zone should be a threat.

48) Bruce Judson-Cocoa-Athlete-5’10-190-(Committed to Oregon): Judson has been making an impact on the football field since his freshman season. His leadership skills can’t be questioned as Judson just help lead Cocoa to a state title. He is being recruited as a quarterback at Oregon but it is at defensive back where we feel Judson will make an impact.

49) K’Jakyre Daley-Suncoast-LB; 6’2-225-(Committed to Oklahoma): Daley is one of the more underrated defensive prospects in Florida this season. He comes from an area of Florida that has produced a ton of talented college prospects. He is very similar to Oklahoma Eric Striker. He can provide a pass rush or drop into coverage and cover a tight end. His versatility makes him a prime target this off-season.

50) James Pouncey-Winter Park-WR-6’2-175: Pouncey is one of the better two way threats on the board. He has size and speed to make an impact on either side of the football. He has flown under the radar but those in the know understand what type of prospect Pouncey is.

 51) Jonathan Garvin-Lake Worth-DE-6’4-220-(Committed to Miami): Garvin can be used in some many ways on your defense. He had one game this year where he had seven sacks. He can put pressure on the quarterback. These types of players are in high demand. He needs to improve against the run but we expect that to happen over the next two seasons.

52) Demarco Artis-Seminole-DE-6’3-220: Artis is one of those players you meet and physically he looks the part. He has had a great senior season and now has seen his stock rise up this board. He plays defensive end but it is at linebacker where we see him making an impact in college. The question with Artis is whether or not he can adjust to dropping back into coverage.

53) Deonte Sheffield-Niceville-RB-5’11-190: Sheffield does not get a ton of pub. Watch him in person and you will come away impressed. He is built very well and will be able to take a pounding at the next level. He is not the type of back that is going down on first contact. He is also very effective out of the backfield as a receiver.

54) Amari Carter-Palm Beach Gardens-DB-6’2-180-(Committed to Miami):  Carter is a prospect that has flown under the radar. With his size and speed it is crazy there were not more teams knocking on his door. Turn on his film and Carter is a play maker. He can drop into coverage and cover top receivers in space. He can also run with most running backs. He is also very effective in run support.

55) D.J. Edwards-Palm Beach Lakes-WR-6’2-190-(Committed to Purdue): Edwards is the type of player who can change the game. We feel that if he can stay healthy at the next level, Edwards could end up a high NFL draft choice. He has the type of speed and quickness which pops off the screen. He also has the size to give smaller defensive backs fits. He is a good enough athlete to also excel at safety.

56)Jonathon MacCollister-Bishop Moore-OT-6’5-260-(Committed to Notre Dame): Jonathon has played tight end, defensive line and will end up at tackle in college. He is a good athlete and with his upside what is there not to like. He is big and can move. Those are two traits you look for in a college line prospect. He has not even come close to his potential.

57) Jordan Wright-Dillard-DE-6’5-230-(Committed to Kentucky): Wright is a prospect that we are very high on. He can do one thing very well and that is put pressure on the quarterback. His size allows him to hold up at the point of attack. He can also be very effective stuffing the run.

58) Jordon Scott-Pinellas Park-DT-6’1-350-(Committed to Oregon): Scott is a big, wide body nose guard. He would be ideal for a team that runs a two gap scheme or wants to have him play nose guard. He is the type of player who is going to command a double team. He moves very well for such a massive guy. He can shoot the gaps and cause problems for teams that try and run the ball up the middle of the field.

59)Devan Barrett-Tampa Catholic-Athlete-6’1-190-(Committed to Auburn): Barrett is a quality athlete. He plays both running back and defensive back. You would like to see him get to his top end speed quicker. Once he gets going, Barrett has very good speed. What we like is his quick feet. He can cut on a dime and make any defender miss in the open field. It is that elusiveness that makes up believes he can play defensive back in college.

60) Mike Harley-St. Thomas Aquinas-WR-5’9-175: Harley is a prospect that can change the game. He has the ability to catch a five yard hitch route and go 70 yards for a touchdown. Once in the open field there are not many defensive backs that will catch him. He does not have great size and that is why there are not more teams on him.

61) Corey Gaynor-Douglas–OG-6’4-280-(Committed to Miami): Gaynor is one of those types of players you go and watch practice and fall for. He is as tough as they come. Whether in a camp setting or in a real live game, Gaynor is going to come after you with everything he has. He is very physical and it would not surprise us to see him play in year 1. He is very effective as a pulling guard or center. He reminds us of another former Hurricane lineman Chris Meyers. All he did was have a long productive career in the NFL.

62) Jack Camper-IMG Academy-TE-6’5-240-(Committed to Michigan State): Camper is your typical Big 10 Tight End. He is going to excel as a blocking tight end. He can help set the edge on stretch runs. He is also going to be effective running crossing routes and down the seam of the opposing team’s defense. He is like having an extra lineman on the field at all times. He should also be effective on third down and inside the red-zone.

63) Ameer Speed-Sandalwood-CB-6’3-190: Not often do you see 6’3 cornerbacks in college. He gives you a big, physical cornerback on the edge. He has a long stride so it does not always look like Speed is moving fast. He can help in run support. The question with Speed is will he play cornerback or safety in college. He is not a great press corner and will he have enough speed and quickness to play man coverage in college.

 64) Matt Landers-St Petersburg-WR-6’5-200-(Committed to Georgia): Landers was a prospect that drew plenty of early interest from college coaches. He is one of the bigger receivers (6’5) and with some time in a college weight program will play close to 220 pounds. He has all the physical tools to be an elite player in college. We would just like to see a little more sense of urgency from his play on the field.

65) Marcus Williams-IMG Academy-5’10-170-(Committed to Ohio State): Williams is a shade under 5’10. That is undersized to play in the Big 10. He makes up for his lack of size with a nice blend of speed and quickness. He has good feet and plays with solid technique. This allows him to stay in front of a bigger receiver. Williams will most likely be asked to cover teams slot receivers in college.

66) Mike Epstein-St. Thomas Aquinas-RB-6’0-220-(Committed to Illinois): When St. Thomas Aquinas’ offense is running on all cylinders it is Epstein who is playing well. He is another much underrated player in Florida this year. He was a star as a freshman at Cypress Bay and then injuries have held him back the past two seasons. As a senior he has blown up. He runs hard and once in the open field there are not many defenders who can catch him.

67) C.J. Cotman-Clearwater Central Catholic-Ath-5’10-175-(Committed to North Carolina): Cotman drew a ton of attention as a freshman. He is still a very good prospect but his development as a player seemed to peak by his junior season. He plays on offense but we expect him to make a bigger impact as a cornerback. He is a fluid athlete who could excel on the defensive side of the football in college.

68) Traivon Leonard-Oxbridge-CB-6’0-175-(Committed to Auburn): Leonard is a big, physical, defensive back. You can play him in press coverage and Leonard will physically whip the guy opposite him. He is defensive back that plays best in that situation. He is not as effective playing off coverage. We also like his ability to play near the line of scrimmage and help in run support. He is a physical defensive back that tries to use his size to his advantage.

 69) Broc Bando-IMG Academy-OG-6’5-280-(Committed to Nebraska): Bando is part of a squad that will have over 20 prospects go D1 this year. He is a lineman that is a bit on the thin side but with some time in a college weight program can fill out his frame. He is a light on his feet and can protect the quarterback. He run blocks well enough but with the added strength to his lower body this part of his game should improve immensely at the next level.

70) Trajan Bandy-Columbus-CB-5’10-180-(Committed to Miami): Bandy may not be the biggest defensive back on the board but there are not many who are tougher. He will come up and smack you in the mouth. He can play in man coverage and more then hold his own. He should make an impact as a slot/nickel back right away. Not many defensive backs are better in run support then Bandy.

71) Maleek Williams-Charlotte-RB-6’1-215-(Committed to Arkansas): Maleek is a big, power back who can wear a defense down. He will fit in well at Arkansas where they like to pound the ball. He is a much underrated back that should have been recruited harder. He is the type of back that will continue to get 4-5 yards and then late in the game will break a long one.

 72) Kivon Bennett-St. Thomas Aquinas-DT-6’2-260-(Committed to Tennessee): Bennett made his mark dominating in the state title game two years ago. This past year he was banged up and never really got back to that same level. He is a bit undersized but with his frame should be able to get to around 300 pounds. He is not the biggest defensive tackle on the board but his quickness helps him get by offensive lineman. He is effective putting pressure on the quarterback and with his quickness can shoot the gaps and stop the run.

 73) Cade Weldon-Jefferson-QB-6’2-200-(Committed to Miami): Weldon father Casey was the starting quarterback at Florida State. His son looks like a carbon copy of him. He is a solid quarterback that can pick apart a defense if given time. He is more or a pro-style quarterback. He understands the game and will take what the defense gives him. Cade is not the type of player who is going to force the ball down the field and make a big mistake. He will rely on the play makers around him to move the ball.

74) Drew White-Saint Thomas-ILB-6’1-220-(Committed to Notre Dame): White is a player who you turn on the field and he seems to always be around the football. If he does not make the tackle he will steer other defenders his way. He has a knack for finding the ball carrier. His instincts are as good as any linebacker on the board.

75) James Houston-American Heritage Plantation-ILB-6’1-220-(Committed to Florida): Before being injured to start the year Houston was on his way to becoming one of the top linebackers in Broward County. We expect him to red-shirt his freshman season, work on his regaining his strength in his lower body and making an impact early on special teams. He gives you a linebacker that can put pressure on quarterback. Before his injury he was also very effective in pass coverage.

76) O.J. Tucker-Vanguard-DB-6’0-190 (Committed to Iowa State): Tucker is one of the more underrated players on the board. When you meet Tucker in person he looks the part. He is a big, physical defensive back that has good length. He can play in any defensive scheme and be an effective player. Some teams will play him at cornerback while others will use him as a safety.

77) Michael Carter-Navarre-RB-5’9-185-(Committed to North Carolina): Carter is built like a fire hydrant. He has a low center of gravity and is not easy to bring down. He is a physical runner that does not go down on first contact. He can run between the tackles or get to the edge and have success. He runs hard for his size and is not afraid of contact. He is also very effective as a receiver.

78) B.J. Daniels-Palm Bay-RB: (Committed to Texas-San Antonio): Talent wise Daniels as the ability to play at the highest level one day. He is a big back with sold speed. He can be very effective on the stretch play off tackles or pounding it between a guard/center. He also has the ability to help out in the passing game. Daniels biggest issues are off the field. He needs to understand the opportunity at hand and take advantage of them.

79) Shanon Reid-Dunbar- ILB-6’1-200-(Committed to Tennessee): Reid gives you two things you want in a linebacker; speed and power. He comes hard and will try and take a ball carrier head off. He is one of the more physical linebackers on the board. We also like his ability play in space.

80) Lashawn Paulino-Bell-St. Thomas Aquinas-DE-6’4-245 (Committed to Michigan State): Paulino is a defensive end we expect to be around 260 pounds in college. He should be very stout against the run in college. Most of his pressures come from him overpowering his guy or just working harder than who is front of him.

 81) Louis Dorsey-Ribault-WR-6’6-220-(Committed to Illinois): Dorsey is a prospect we feel could be really good in college. He has the physical attributes to be an elite prospect. He just has to put it all together on the football field. His size is a major issue for opposing defensive backs. He is also deceptively fast and can get behind a secondary. His ability to block the edge will also come in hand for teams that want to run the football to the outside

82) Bradley Jennings-Sandalwood-LB-6’3-220-(Committed to Miami): Jennings joins a Miami squad that has reloaded at the linebacker position. He will get a chance to play early on special teams and will provide some quality depth. He is another kid who can run. He gives the Hurricanes an athletic linebacker that can play inside or out in college. He has a good nose for the football and plays with an aggressive, attacking style.

83) Donovan Winter-Bishop Moore-DE-6’5-235-(Committed to Michigan State): Winter is a defensive lineman who is versatile enough to play inside or out. We project him as more of an interior lineman. He could even beef up and play offensive tackle in college. Winter is a hard working kid who gives you everything he has on the field. Consistency is the one thing that will take his game to another level.

84) Derrick Smith –Trinity Christian-Ath-6’3-190-(Committed to Miami): Smith is a very good athlete. He can excel as a receiver or defensive back. What you have to like is not only Smith size (6’3) but he brings length to your defense. He can cover ground and would make an ideal free safety.

85) Jerry Drake-Palm Beach Gardens-OT-6’7-310-(Committed to Pittsburgh): Drake has all the physical tools you want in a left tackle. He has size and length to be a very effective left tackle in college. He also moves pretty well laterally. He is one of the better athletes to play the position. He is a raw prospect but with the proper coaching and strength and conditioning program Drake can have a very productive college career.

86) Jake Allen-St. Thomas Aquinas-QB-6’2-190-(Committed to Florida): Allen is a player who has had his peaks and valleys as a prospect. He finished the year strong as Allen threw five touchdowns in the state title game. He is a player that needs a good pocket around him. He is a pocket passer. He is not one that is going to cause defensive coordinators to stay up at night worrying about his ability to run. Give him time to throw a solid running game and Allen can be a game manager at the next level.

87) Kyshaun Bryan-St. Thomas Aquinas-RB-5’10-180-(Committed to South Carolina): Bryan will fit the between the tackles running game that South Carolina uses. He has some nice quickness and burst through the line of scrimmage. While he does not have great top end speed, Bryan can still get to the edge. He has the ability to get to the 2nd level and make something happen. He also is effective in the pass game.

88) Santino Marchiol-IMG Academy-OLB-6’2-225-(Committed to Texas A&M): Santino is a traditional MIKE linebacker. You are going to keep him between the tackles and ask him to play downhill. He is not the type of linebacker you are going to get into the flats and have him cover receivers or backs in space. He will make a ton of tackles against the run.

89) James Bostic-Cardinal Gibbons-WR-6’3-215-(Committed to Vanderbilt): Bostic did not turn 17 until this past November. He is a big, physical receiver that can run. He did get injured this year and that hurt him from drawing more interest from college coaches. He runs solid routes and is very tough to move off his line One thing he does very well is adjust to the football when it is in the air. He knows how to also high point the ball. Once he gets his hands on the football, Bostic will come down with it.

90) Guy Thomas-Booker T. Washington-LB-6’2-205-(Committed to Nebraska): Thomas is going to be used very similar to a Randy Gregory at Nebraska. He will give the Huskers a speed rusher off the edge who can put pressure on the quarterback. He can also drop back into coverage and cover a tight end or back out of the backfield. Thomas is one of the more athletic linebackers on the board.

91) Deandre Johnson-Southridge-DE-6’4-240-(Committed to Tennessee): Johnson is a prospect that came on this year. He has the size to play defensive end. He also has the speed and quickness to play linebacker. His ability to get up the field is what we like about Johnson. He should be very good at getting to the quarterback in college.

 92) Joshua Palmer-St. Thomas Aquinas-WR-6’3-180-(Committed to Tennessee): Palmer is one of the more underrated receivers on the board. He is smooth and Palmer makes it look easy. We like the way he runs his routes. He also has solid hands and plays with good body control. We feel as he continues to develop, Palmer could have a great college career. He has all the physical tools to become a quality number one.

93) Nick Smith-Dr. Phillips-LB-6’3-215-(Committed to Florida): Smith played on a very good Dr. Phillips defense. He can play outside linebacker or be used as an edge rusher. He is a very good athlete who can move around the field. He flashes the ability to make big plays. Smith is the type of prospect that goes out of state and has a very good college career.

94) Ventrell Miller-Kathleen-ILB-6’0-225-(Committed to Florida): Miler is most likely going to excel more as an inside linebacker. You keep him between the tackles and Miller will make a ton of plays. He is your typical, tough, Polk county player. His physical style of play will be well suited to playing in the SEC. He can come up and knock a ball carrier right on their back. He is not afraid to stick his nose in there and tackle someone. When Miller hits a ball carrier they usually go backwards.

 95) Jacob Lichtenstein-Cypress Bay-DE-6’5-250-(Committed to USC): Jacob is a player who caught our eye two years ago. He is a big, long, athletic lineman. Jacob is another prospect who could grow into a five-technique. There are some teams who may even like him on the offensive line. Get him to 300 pounds and you will have a big, athletic tackle who can handle some of the best pass rushers around

96) Jarques McClellion-CB-6’1-170-(Committed to Arkansas): McClellion is a very good athlete. In a playoff game two years ago Jarques played receiver and blew by a defensive back for a touchdown. He is also a very good cornerback prospect. He has the size and length you look for in a prospect that plays his position. He can play outside or can be moved inside to the slot. His size and length will give plenty of receiver’s problems at the next level.

97) Mac Jones-Jacksonville Bolles-QB-6’2-190-(Committed to Alabama): Jones plays for one of the premier programs in the state of Florida. He is the type of player who you have to surround him with other talented athletes to maximize his talent. He is a game manager type of quarterback.

98) Owen Carney-Miami Central-DE-6’4-225: (Committed to Illinois): Carney is a prospect that blew up towards the end of his junior season. He is another big kid who can run. You would like to see him have a little more twitch off the edge. He is a guy that has some athletic ability but most of the plays Carney makes are based off his work ethic. He is ideal to play defensive end in a 4-3 scheme.

99) Nick Tronti-QB-Ponte Vedra-6’2-190-(Committed to Indiana): We watched Tronti perform at the highest level in the state championships against American Heritage Plantation. He only went out and threw for three touchdowns and ran for two more. He is very accurate and does a very good job of leading his receivers into their routes. He has a lively arm and can also beat you with his legs.

100) Tyler Dunning-St. Thomas Aquinas-LB-6’0-220-(Committed to Mississippi State): Dunning is not the biggest or fastest player on the board but there are not many tougher. He plays a hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker role. He can come off the edge and put pressure on the quarterback. He is also effective against the run. He is not a big, long or athletic linebacker so playing him in space may not be to his strengths.

101) Nadarius Fagan-Southridge-LB-6’2-190-(Committed to Syracuse): Fagan is your typical south Florida linebacker. He is undersized (190 pounds) but Fagan can run and will knock your block off. He has the type of range and athletic ability to fit a defense that plays a ton of spread teams. You can put Fagan in space and he will not be a liability.

 102) Zamari Maxwell-Pinellas County-CB-6’2-180 (Committed to UCF): Maxwell is one of those players who fly under the radar and ends up a future NFL Draft pick. He has the size and length to be a very effective cornerback. He also is fluid for a bigger defensive back. His size allows him to match up against bigger and more physical receivers. He has good but not elite level speed.

103) Waymon Steed-Miami Central-LB-6’1-215-(Committed to Miami): Steed is a player who has worked hard this season to play at his highest level. He got up to 240 pounds but is now back down to his most effective playing weight (220-225). He is a guy you put inside at MLB and let him play down-hill. He is a thumper.

 104) Erin Collins-Armwood-RB-5’10-180-(Committed to N.C. State): Against Miami Central in the state title two seasons ago it was Collins who ripped off an 80-yard touchdown run. He has the speed to get through the line of scrimmage quickly and carry it all the way down the field. Collins is a big play threat any time he touches the football. He has the quickness to get through the hole and explode by a linebacker or defensive back. He just needs more carries which he should get in college.

105) Antoine Thompson-Plant City-6’1-180-(Committed to N.C. State): Thompson is a big, tall, thin receiver. His play reminds us of Robbie Anderson who played at South Plantation High School and is not in the NFL. Thompson is heavier so making an impact right away in college should not be a problem. He is a much underrated route runner and is going to come down with the football if thrown his way.

106) Billy Gibson-Southridge-S-6’1-175: Gibson is one of those players you go and watch live and he is all over the field. In the state title game he was very active. He can line up close to the line of scrimmage and play the run. He can play off coverage and help out in zone. He can even line up in some man coverage and have success. He has good football instincts. Gibson is a good football player. While some guys may be bigger or faster then don’t make the same type of impact that Gibson does on the football field.

107)  Aundre Kearney-Mandarin-Athlete-6’0-215-(Committed to Virginia Tech): Kearney started his career playing running back. That should tell you what type of athlete this kid is. His move to linebacker has been a smooth transition. He can run well and does not seem to have problems shedding blocks.

 108) Joshua Ali-Southwest-WR-6’1-175-(Committed to Kentucky): Ali is not the biggest or fastest receiver. He is very smooth. It seems when Ali is on the field that the game of football comes easy to him. He is very effective in and out of his breaks. He runs solid routes and has good hands. He also has enough speed and quickness to stretch the field.

109) Jacquez Jones-Clearwater-Ath-5’10-180-(Committed to Tennessee): One thing Jones can do is make the big play. Get him the football and there is a chance that Jones will end up in the end-zone. He is a difference maker with the football in his hands. He is also tough for his size. He will go up against bigger defensive backs and snatch the football out of the air. Jones has very good ball skills and can adjust to any pass thrown his way. Look for him to make an impact on special teams Day 1.

 110) Robert Reeves-Pensacola-LB-6’2-215-(Committed to Southern Miss): Reeves plays in a part of Florida that gets overlooked. He is a very good linebacker and should have a productive career. We like Reeves because of his ability to play in space. He can drop into coverage and cover a receiver or back. He is also very effective coming up and playing against the run.

111) K.J. Hamler –IMG Academy-WR-5’9-160-(Committed to Penn State): Hamler makes the most of his chances on special teams. He is also a solid slot receiver. He has some decent quickness. He is undersized and could struggle against teams that play a ton of press coverage. Give him some space and Hamler can make something happen.

112) Latavious Brini-Mater Academy-CB: 6’2-175:  Brini is a prospect that looks the part. He has the size and speed you want in a defensive back prospect. He needs to play to that level on the football field. He is a raw prospect that has upside. He needs to play with more consistency from week to week.

113)  Dorian Hall-South Broward-DB-6’4-190: I seriously doubt anyone has scouted Hall more then we have. He is a player that physically has the tools you want. He is big, long and athletic. While a raw prospect you can see the upside with hall. He is a good athlete as Hall was once a quarterback. He is now the quarterback of the defense. He understands the game and it would not surprise us to see him step on the field early in college.

114) Bubba Fludd-Okeechobee-Ath.-5’10-175-(Committed to Southern Mississippi): If there is a better high school football player we would like to see him. Fludd is the jack of all trades. He plays quarterback, receiver, running back and defensive back. He is also very good on special teams. No matter what game we went to, Fludd made an impact in.

115) Carmoni Green-Miami Central-WR-6’1-190-(Committed to Illinois): Green should do well in the Big 10. He gives Illinois a receiver that can stretch the field. He was in an offense that did not throw the ball much but when Green did get his opportunities to catch the football, he came through. He also is a big game receiver. He should make an impact on special teams right away.

116) Connor Robbins-Menendez-OT-6’7-290-(Committed to Georgia State): Robbins is a bit of a project. He has great size (6’7) and will be well over 320 pounds in college. What he brings is a good frame. He looks like an offensive tackle. He has good size and length to play the position. He is also a hard working prospect who will continue to go hard on every play. He is a good but not great athlete. His strength right now is pass-blocking. We would like to see him become more physical at the point of attack.

117) Kevaughn Dingle-Carol City-WR-6’2-200: Dingle is a kid who is going to physically whip the guy opposite him. He may not be the fastest receiver but Dingle can get open. He is not an easy receiver to line up and cover. He will try and outmuscle a defensive back to the football. He will also be effective in an offense that likes to run the ball wide. He should be a very effective blocker in college.

118) Whop Philyor-Tampa Plant-Ath-5’10-175-(Committed to Indiana): You want a guy who can get to the edge and out run a defense, Whop is the one. He has the ability to just explode through the line of scrimmage. He has the ability to put his foot in the ground and get by a defender. With his ability to explode and change direction we like Whop as a cornerback in college.

119) Jean Marcellus-Tampa  Jefferson-OG-6’4-290-(Committed to South Florida): Marcellus has been on the radar for three years now. One thing he has done is improved his body composition. He is in much better shape and his game has improved because of it. Jean is best suited to playing guard in college. He moves well laterally but is much better off in confined spaces. He is the type that will do best fighting you in a phone booth.

 120) Kalia Davis-West Florida-LB-6’2-235-(Committed to UCF): Davis plays in a part of Florida that gets overlooked most of the time. At 6’2-235 there are not many linebackers coming out of high school with his size. He is an ideal MLB but it would not surprise us to see him continue to add weight and play defensive end in college.

121) Henry Colombi-Chaminade-QB-6’3-190-(Committed to Utah State): Colombi will do well in a spread offense. He has a pretty good arm and if given time to throw can pick a defense apart. He has good straight line speed and can be effective running some read-option. He is not a guy who is going to juke a defender out and take it the distance. If the right pieces are put around him in college we feel Henry can have a successful career.

122) Randall St Felix-Dr. Krop-WR-6’2-175-(Committed to USF): Felix plays at a school that has actually produced some very good football players. He has flown under the radar but don’t be surprised that once in college people ask why St Felix was not more heavily recruited. You can throw it over either shoulder and Felix will find the football and come down with it.

123) Marquis Waters-Delray Atlantic-Ath-6’2-200-(Committed to Duke): Marquise Winters is one of the more physically impressive looking prospects on the board. He is also a very good athlete. He has had success at running back and defensive back. We see him as a potential WILL backer in college. He is not done growing. You take his length and add the speed and quickness he has and you will like what Waters brings to the linebacker position.

124) AJ Deshazor-Lake Gibson-LB-6’2-190-(Committed to South Alabama): Deshazor is a player who has worked hard and made himself into a very good high school linebacker. He is a tough kid who will do what you ask of him. He can play some safety but it is more as an in the box player. He has above average cover skills but that is not where AJ will have his most success. He is most effective in the box and playing down-hill.

125) Rodney Scott-Southridge-WR-6’0-175: Scott comes from a football family. When you watch him play the game seems to come easy to him. He has a bit of a long stride so it does not look like he is moving that fast. He is a receiver that will catch the football in traffic. He is not afraid to go across the middle of the field and get the football. He has good but not great speed.

126) Quran Hafiz-Sandalwood-DB-6’1-180-(Committed to FAU): Hafiz seems to love contact. His style of play would be ideal at safety. He has good ball skills and seems to have the type of instincts you want from a defensive player. He is versatile enough to play both the pass and run. Hafiz is one of the better coverage defensive backs in North Florida.

127) Trace Christian-Lake Brantley-6’1-210-RB-(Committed to East Carolina): Christian is a big, power back. He is physically ready to play college football day 1. He is very effective in the screen game. Get him in space and one on one with a linebacker and Trace can do some damage. We like his ability to accelerate and get to the 2nd level quickly.

128) Kelvin Pinkney-Sarasota Booker-DT-6’1-300-(Committed to USF): Pinkney is very similar to the defensive tackles USF has on their roster. He is not real tall (6’1) but he is a wide body lineman. He is not easy to move off the ball. If he can learn to be a little quicker with his hands, Pinkney will be tough to go against. He has some nice quickness but will try and bull rush the opponent on almost every play

129) Darrien Grant-Bradenton Southeast-DE-6’4-235: (Committed to USF):  Grant is built very similar to Byron Cowart who ended up at Auburn. Physically there are not too many players who will walk in a room and look better. We have seen him come off the edge and rush the passer. Some teams may use him more as a hybrid DE/OLB and have him stand up. He is not asked to play a ton in space in college.

130) Zachary Hauschild-Clearwater-OT-6’5-310: Hauschild is a prospect we first saw at a summer camp last year. He has good size to play tackle. He is not the most athletic player on the board so we could see him play on the right side in college. He is a tough kid who will give you everything he has on every rep. He won’t back down from a challenge. He is further along as a pass protector at this time. We would like to see him add some mass and get bigger and stronger before stepping on a field in college.

131) Bobby Roundtree-Largo-DE-6’5-220-(Committed to Indiana): Here is a prospect that we feel with the proper development in college could end up as an NFL player one day. He is big and athletic. That being said, Roundtree is very raw. He has not even come close to his potential. He is very effective against the run. You don’t see him getting broken down. He can play contain and be very effective. As a pass rusher he needs to learn more then move.

132) Carson Wells-South Sumter-DE-6’3-230-(Committed to Colorado): Wells played some tight end in high school so that should tell you what type of athlete he is. He is projected as a defensive end but some teams may move him to linebacker. With his size, speed and athletic ability Wells can make an impact coming from the outside putting pressure on a quarterback. He has the ability to play in space and be effective.

133) Kevin Oliver-Western High School-DL-6’4-255-(Committed to FIU): Oliver is an old school football player. He makes a ton of plays because Oliver will outwork the guy opposite him on the field. He is very stout against the run. It is as a pass rusher where he continues to excel. He may eventually grow into an interior lineman in college.

135) Antwan Collier-Southridge-DB-6’2-190-(Committed to UCF): Collier has seen time at quarterback and defensive back in high school. You have to like that he has knowledge of both sides of the football. His future is at safety at the next level. He can play cornerback but it will have to be a scheme that fits his skill set. Collier does his best when he does not have to turn his back and then find the football.

136) Willie Hampton-American Heritage Plantation LB-6’1-225 (Committed to Nebraska): Nebraska needed some guys on defense that had some speed and quickness. That is something that Hampton will bring to the black-shirt defense. He is a good enough athlete to play all three linebacker spots. It would not surprise us to see him used as an edge rusher. He has the ability to get up the field and be a force against the run.

137) Naytron Culpepper-Carol City-CB-6’0-175: Culpeper is versatile enough to play either safety or cornerback in college. He would have to put on some weight to play safety but that should not be a problem. He has good coverage skills but it is his physicality that will stand out in person. He does not mind coming up and laying the wood to a ball carrier.

138) Aaron Hackett-Venice-TE-6’3-220: (Committed to Syracuse): Hackett is built more like a receiver than a tight end. He can line up inside as a slot receiver, or move to the outside. You can even use him as an in-line tight end. He is more suited to playing a hybrid tight end position than be placed on the line of scrimmage next to a tackle. He is not real big so the question becomes will he be able to block at the next level. Hackett has good hands and will have success as a receiver in college.

139) Michael Nesbitt-Boyd Anderson-DB-6’0-185-(Committed to Kentucky): Nesbitt plays on offense, defense and special teams. He is a good athlete who you want to sign and worry about where to play him once on campus. He does have good football instincts and seems to have a knack for being around the football. He has good ball skills and will either knock the ball down or pick it off. His technique allows him to stay in front of receivers most of the time.

140) Clevan Thomas-Flanagan-WR: 5’11-190-(Committed to Kentucky): Thomas is not the biggest or fastest receivers on the board. He will end up one of the more productive. He is a kid who is going to fight you for every yard. He runs his routes hard and makes a defender work on every possession. He is going to win most of the battles with a defensive back. His physical play will suit well in a conference where defensive backs try and beat you up on every play.

141) Daewood Davis-Deerfield Beach-WR-(Committed to Oregon): Davis is one of those fast twitch athletes. He can blow by a defensive back off the line of scrimmage. He can also get separation without much of a problem. When he goes up for a football, Davis does a good job of high pointing it. He needs to become crisper running his routes and be more consistent catching it. If he continues to work hard Davis could be a steal for USF.

142) Ahman Ross-Jacksonville Bolles-DB: 5’11-200-(Committed to FAU): Ross looks like an undersized linebacker more than a defensive back. He is very strong and does not look like your typical cornerback or safety. He has decent length. He is a physical defensive back that would do well in run support. In pass coverage he is not the type of defensive back that opens up and runs well.

143) Isaiah Miller-Baldwin-RB-5’11-190-Committed to Missouri): One thing that stands out on film is his feet. He has quick feet and can cut on a dime. He has the ability to make himself small and get through the line of scrimmage. He is not a big, power back so his skill set will fit an offense that spreads the field.

144) Jamari Peacock-Yulee-RB-5’11-235-(Committed to Virginia): Peacock is a big, powerful back that is going to be used as a fullback or a power back at Virginia. He is a straight line runner. When he gets a full head of steam going and is moving down-hill its best to get out of the way. He is very powerful in the lower body and is not the type of back you will arm tackle.

145) Dontavious Butler-American Heritage-WR-6’2-190-(Committed to Pittsburgh): If there is one player that looks the part of a D1 athlete it is Butler. He is a big, physical receiver that is going to fit well in Pittsburgh offense. He will be asked to run crossing routes and will be very effective doing so. When Pittsburgh wants to run stretch plays it will be Butler who will be sealing off the edge. He is a physical receiver who can help move the chains.

146) Cedrick Dort-Dwyer-CB-6’1-165-(Committed to Kentucky): Dort is the type of defensive back that will do very well in a cover 2 scheme. He has good length and plays with solid technique. If you are going to beat him it is because you are just better then Dort. He is one of the more underrated cornerbacks on the board. He should have a nice, productive career at the next level.

147) Raven Saunders-Dwyer-Ath-6’0-220-(Committed to N.C. State): Saunders is one of those players which will catch your eye the first time you see him in person. He looks the part of a big time prospect. He plays safety but we would not be surprised to see him beef up and play linebacker. You put him at linebacker and with his ability to cover; Saunders should be a very good player at the next level.

148) Marvin Washington-Dr. Phillips-QB-6’2-180-(Committed to UCF): All Washington did this past season was leading Dr. Phillips to the state title game. He was one first down away from helping the Panthers win their first state title. He is a very talented dual threat quarterback. With the success of similar players: Lamar Jackson and Quinton Flowers you have to like what Washington can do at the next level. He is more refined passing the ball then the other two players. Washington has a very good arm and can make most of the throws asked of him.

 149) Chris Whittaker-Chaminade-6’4-240-(Committed to Kentucky): Whittaker is an ideal 4-3 defensive end. He has good size (6’4) and the type of length you want on the edge. He is a solid pass rusher who can also hold up against the run. Get him in a college weight program and Chris will be well over 260 pounds. He has to play with more consistency from play to play. Whittaker will show flashes of what he is capable of doing and you are left with wanting more.

150) Griffin Alstott-Northside Christian-QB-6’2-190-(Committed to Purdue): Alstott is the son of former Tampa Bay Bucs star Mike Alstott. The senior quarterback led his team to a deep run in the playoffs. Here is a kid whose arm improved every year we saw him play. He has the ability to make every throw. He is accurate throwing the football. In the right offensive scheme we feel Griffin will star.
