The state of Florida is one of the most productive states for Football nationally. Every year between 350-400 prospects from the sunshine state sign with D1 football programs. You could probably double that number if you include prospects from the FCS and Juco ranks. So many players get overlooked. You just have to see what Fernando Mendoza did this past season in college football. He was barely on the recruiting radar when he came out of Christopher Columbus High School. We will break down the prospects who have flown under the radar in recruiting and can make that type of impact in college football next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cody Conness \u2013 QB- Saint Thomas Aquinas \u2013 6\u20191-190 \u2013 (Class of 2027)<\/strong> Cody has patiently waited his turn to be a starting QB. His turn has finally come. He has a big time arm and can make every throw asked of him. With a talented supporting cast, we expect Cody to end up one of the top passing quarterbacks in Broward County this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jamison Larsen \u2013 QB \u2013 Miami Palmetto \u2013 6\u20194-230 (Class of 2027<\/strong>) Larsen came down from Wisconsin this spring. He gave Palmetto a QB who looks like he is physically ready to play college football. In his debut last night against Archbishop McCarthy, Blake went 7 of 9 for 75 Yards and 1 (TD). He also ran 4 times for 36 yards including a TD run. Larsen did not turn the football over. Palmetto looked quite impressive as they won the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dontallis Render \u2013 DE-(Vero Beach) 6\u20195-230 (Class of 2027) (Committed to UCF)<\/strong> Render is impressive looking physically. He has not even come close to reaching his potential. Look for Render to continue his rise in the rankings. He has the tools that college coaches are looking for in a defensive end prospect. He is a good enough athlete to also line up as a tight end as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jayshawn McCloud \u2013 DT-(Clay HS) 6\u20193-250 (Class of 2027)<\/strong> (Committed to Liberty)<\/strong> Here is a kid who dominated the FAU summer camp. He was quite impressive as McCloud showed great initial burst off the football. He is also very good with using his hands. He committed to Liberty University but it would not shock us to see a P4 program come in late and try and snatch him up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wes Winn \u2013 WR \u2013 (St. Andrews HS) 5\u20199-170- (Class of 2027) <\/strong>Wes is very impressive running his routes. He understands how to get separation from defensive backs. He also has very good hands. If he gets his hands on the football there is no question in our minds he will come down with the football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Koy Frier- Ath.-(Buchholz HS) 5\u201911-180: <\/strong>Frier comes from a football family. His father and uncle played at FSU. Koy is a very good athlete. He can play on either side of the football. He was recently committed to West Virginia and reopened his recruiting. We expect him to have a great senior season and start to pull the offers in his deserves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex Gray \u2013 OT (Berkeley Prep HS) 6\u20196-250 (Committed to Marshall).<\/strong> Gray is physically impressive. He performed well this spring and past summer at football camps. He has the potential to be a starting tackle at the P4 level down the road. You can\u2019t teach his size and athletic ability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaydein Pittman \u2013 RB\/Ath. \u2013 (John Carroll) 5\u20198-165-<\/strong> Pittman has run a 10.55 (100m) in track and field. He can fly on the football field. We expect him to have a break out season in 2026. Look for him to be one of the faster players in the state of Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jahnard Young \u2013 RB- (Dillard HS) 5\u201911-210 <\/strong>\u2013 Young is built like a tank. He is one of the most impressive looking players in Broward County. We expect him to be one of the leading rushers this year. He is big, strong and very physical in the run game. Good luck trying to tackle him with one defender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Davion Crumite \u2013 DB-(Rickards) 5\u201911-170 (Committed to Vandy)<\/strong> Davion has clocked in at 10.49 (100m). He is one of the fastest players in his class. He has the ability to change a game on one play. He can line up at defensive back or receiver. We also can see him making plays on special teams. If you can run well there are going to be plenty of schools who recruit you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
