We have broken down the position by ranking outside receivers and slot receivers on their own. This years group of slot receivers may be one of the best in recent Florida memory. There are close to 30 receivers who play inside that have been offered D1 scholarships at this time. The number should grow in the coming months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><strong>Christian Leary-Edgewater-5\u201910-175: (Committed to Alabama): <\/strong>Leary can beat you on offense or special teams. He is a big play threat that needs the football in his hands. Get him in space and Leary can make something happen. If you need validation of Leary talent ask the Saint Thomas defensive coaches who could not stop him in the state title game. <\/li><li><strong>Mario Williams-Plant City -5\u201910-165: (Committed to Oklahoma): <\/strong>Williams may one of the top 2-3 slot receivers in his class. Put him on defense and he may rank as one of the top cover corners. The kid can flat out fly and that is what college coaches are going to look at when they watch him film. <\/li><li><strong>Trevonte Ruker-Vanguard-5\u201911-170: (Committed to UF): <\/strong>Rucker will be one of the premier\nplayers in Florida. He is a good athlete who can line up anywhere on the field\nto make plays. Look for him to still be heavily recruited even though Rucker is\ncommitted.<strong> &nbsp;<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Yulkeith Brown-Miami Central-5\u201910-170: <\/strong>Brown is electric with the football in his hands. He\nis one of the most explosive players in Florida since Devin Hester. He can play\nrunning back, receiver or defensive back. He took his game to another level. He is a guy that can\ncatch a five yard hitch and got the distance. He has good hands and his ball\nskills are unmatched. He is a guy who will continue to develop and become a hot\ncommodity in a couple of years.<strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; (Reported Offers:\nCommitted to Miami) &nbsp;<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Corey Palmer-IMG Academy-5\u201911-170: <\/strong>Palmer does a very good job of tracking the ball. His\nlength allows him to make grabs that other receivers his size can\u2019t make. He\ncan just go up and snatch the football out of the air. <strong>(Reported Offers: Tennessee, Baylor, Maryland, UMASS, Miami, UNC,\nRutgers, Virginia and WVU) <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Frederick Eaford- Hialeah-5\u201911-160: (Committed to FAU): <\/strong>Eaford is super quick. If you don\u2019t\nget a hand on him at the line of scrimmage, Eaford will run by you. He is a guy\nyou need to get physical with at the line of scrimmage or the battle will have\nbeen lost.<\/li><li><strong>Artez Hooker-Lakewood-5\u20199-160: (Committed to Buffalo): <\/strong>He can put his foot in the ground and\nget separation. He is a receiver you better get a hand on at the line of\nscrimmage or Hooker will do some damage. He has pretty good speed and\nquickness. <\/li><li><strong>The-Andris Freeman-Saint Thomas-6\u20190-175:<\/strong> Freeman looked real good at a recent\ncamp we attended. He made some catches look real easy. On some other passes it\nwas not so easy. He needs to become more consistent as a pass catcher. <strong>(Reported Offers: Boston College, FIU,\nKentucky, Louisville, Missouri, Purdue, Southern Miss, Syracuse) <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Roscoe Gibson-Miami Edison -6\u20190-160: <\/strong>Gibson is a high flyer. He can go up and snatch the ball\nout of the air. He has good hands and runs solid routes. He has been on the\nradar since his freshman season. He is now one of the older players on his\nfootball team<strong>. (Reported Offers: Syracuse,\nCoastal, Utah State and Western Kentucky) <\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Jamarion McDougle-Deerfield Beach: <\/strong>Jamarion comes from a very gifted\nfamily. He is next in line for stardom. He is another receiver who can stretch\nthe field. He also is very effective at screens and quick slants.<strong> (Reported Offers: BC, Maryland, Penn\nState, Rutgers)<\/strong> <\/li><li><strong>Malik Rutherford-Champagnat Catholic-5\u20199-170: (Committed to Georgia Tech):\n<\/strong>Rutherford is a\nprospect that will play in the slot in college. He is a speedy receiver that\nyou need to get in space. He is not going to outmuscle bigger defensive backs.\nYou want to get him free of a defender and allow him to use his speed and\nquickness to his advantage. <\/li><li><strong>Oran Singleton-Clewiston-5\u20199-165: <\/strong>Oran is a player you want to\nkeep the ball in his hands. There is a reason why he plays quarterback. He has\nthe ability to score anytime Oran has the football. He is like a video game.\nOran is very difficult to tackle.<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong> (Reported Offers: UK) <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Myron Scott-Tampa Bay Tech-6\u20190-155: <\/strong>Scott is a kid who can stretch the field. He has the\ntype of deep speed to create problems. He is someone that you better get a hand\non them or he could score. <strong>(Reported\nOffers: Indiana)<\/strong> <\/li><li><strong>JoJo Blackmon-Escambia-5\u201910-175: <\/strong>Jojo will get some looks. He plays on the outside but is more\nsuited to playing in the slot. He has the speed and quickness to stretch the\nfield. He is very dangerous in the open field. He is a kid who makes an\nimpact on offense, defense or special teams. <strong>(Reported offers: Maryland) &nbsp;<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Jake Harrington-Saint Thomas-5\u201910-180: <\/strong>Harrington is an offense that will put up monster\nnumbers. He will get many chances this year to catch the ball. He has good\nhands and can run solid routes.&nbsp; <strong>(Reported Offers: Maryland, FIU, Toledo,\nVandy) <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Jamal Browder \u2013Carol City-5\u20199-170: <\/strong>Browder is a prospect that will end up in the slot in\ncollege. He is undersized but Browder can run. He is going to have gain some\nweight to handle playing at the next level. <strong>(Reported Offers: Toledo) <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Richie Ilarraza-Calvary Christian (Clearwater) 5\u20198-160: <\/strong>One of the top slot receivers that\ndoes not get talked about. He has the ability to stretch the field and create\nthe big play. He should make an impact on special teams returning punts and\nkicks. <strong>(Reported Offers: Southern Miss)<\/strong>\n<\/li><li><strong>Malique Dieudonne-Palmetto Ridge-6\u20190-150: <\/strong>Malique is a prospect that can also\nplay on both sides of the football. He is one of the top prospects in Collier\nCounty.<strong> &nbsp;(Reported Offers: Southern Miss) <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Jermaine Dawson-Vero Beach-5\u201910-170: <\/strong>Dawson is the type of player you want in space. He\nwill catch a screen pass and flip the field for your offense. He has good hands\nand will get open. He is also a decent down field blocker for someone his size.\n<strong>(Reported Offers: None)<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Brandon Schabert-Am Heritage Delray-6\u20191-190: <\/strong>Brandon runs good routes and is\ndecisive when he catches the football. He will take off and run. There is no\nhesitation to his game. He plays fast and hard. If you try and put a body on\nhim, Brandon will get by you. If you play off coverage, he will sit down in his\nzone and catch the ball. He is one of the most underrated players in South\nFlorida.<strong> (Reported Offers: Committed to\nFAU) &nbsp;<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Theodore\n     Lockley-WR-6\u20190-180: (Committed to Illinois): <\/strong>Lockley gives Mainland a play\n     maker. He is a guy they just throw it up to and hope he comes down with\n     it. He sees the ball well and does a good job of catching it. He is very\n     dangerous after the catch. He can run most of the routes asked of him.<strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Torrance Stover-South Lake-5\u201910-160: <\/strong>Stover is a player we will keep an\neye on. He lines up on the outside but will be a slot receiver at the next\nlevel. He can also make some plays on special teams. <strong>(Reported Offers: None)<\/strong> <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Tristen Riley-Mandarin-5\u20198-140: <\/strong>Mandarin brings back their star\nquarterback. They lose most of their top receivers. Guys like Riley will\nbenefit as he will start this year. While undersized, Riley can get down the\nmiddle of the field and create big plays. <strong>(Reported\nOffers: None)<\/strong> <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Timothy Brown-Miami Northwestern-5\u20199-170:\nHad<\/strong> the chance to\nwatch him at a 7 on 7 camp and Brown looked good. His father was a star at\nMiami Northwestern then ended up at Rutgers University. <strong>(Reported Offers: None) <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>De\u2019Mon Henry Monsignor Pace-5\u201910-180:\n<\/strong>Henry is a kid that\nhas a chance to be a very good player. He just needs to settle into one school\nand make an impact. He is not real big so there will be some schools who decide to go\ninto a different direction. He can make the first defender miss pretty much\nevery time Larry touches the football. <strong>(Reported\nOffers: Savannah State) &nbsp;<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Lamont Scott-Dillard-5\u201911-175: <\/strong>Scott has a chance to become of the\ntop slot receivers in Florida. He is very physical and will knock your head off\nif you don\u2019t turn it around. He carries over a 1000 at this time. He is a good receiver who can\nalso make an impact on defense. He is a versatile athlete who just needs to get\nrecruited and you worry about where to put him once on campus. <strong>(Reported Offers: None) <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Makai Lovett-Miami Sr-6\u20190-190: (Committed\nto South Dakota State): <\/strong>Lovett is a kid who gives you some size as a slot or inside receiver. He\nis a match up problem for smaller defensive backs because of his physicality.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Dante Booker-Seminole Sanford-6\u20191-170<\/strong>: Booker gives you a player with the\nsize and speed to play in the backfield. He also has the size to play receiver.\nHe has good hands and runs solid routes. We project him to play receiver in\ncollege<strong>. <\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>(Reported\noffers: None) <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Terrance Anthony-Oak Leaf-6\u20191-170: <\/strong>Anthony plays on a team that loses\nits top play makers. He will be counted on to become one of their go to guys next\nyear. He is the type of receiver that if he gets a step on you, watch out. He\nhas the ability to get behind a secondary. He will get the\nchance this spring to draw attention and start his recruitment.
