Jessie York-2011-WR
Over the years one team that has had a ton of talent come through their program was Boyd Anderson. This upcoming season should not be any different as the Cobras will be a fun team to watch. On offense they are loaded at wide receiver. They will be led by Jessie York and Amp Williams. On defense the Cobras bring back a ton of talent as well. Their secondary could end up the best in Broward County. They are led by cornerback Harmon Brown. His teammate Brandon Butler will be more of the more heavily recruited defensive backs this upcoming season. Their front seven is led by linebacker Kent Turene and Shaun Ward. These two make things happen when they are on the football field. The talent level does not drop from there as we will also take a look at Courtney Bynes-Ath, Patrick James, Dane James and Kameron Davis. All of these prospects will get some major looks this upcoming season. Davis could end up one of the premier offensive line prospects for 2012. ESS will now break down each prospect and give you insight into the Boyd Anderson program.
The first area we will look at is the secondary for Boyd Anderson. Most teams lose two players like Demar Dorsey (University of Michigan) and Cliff Coleman (University of Mississippi) they have a hard time finding replacements. Boyd Anderson just reloads with players like Harmon Brown (Highlight Video) and Brandon Butler (Highlight Video). Brown is an undersized cornerback that does not back down from anyone. He is physical and does not mind getting into a receivers head. He does a good job of going back into coverage or coming up in run support. Brown does not lack confidence which is evident is his play. Butler is a name you will hear a lot of this upcoming season. He will take over at safety for Demar Dorsey. Butler has nice size (6′1/190) and plays with speed. He is not afraid to come up and hit a ball carrier in the mouth. Along with Butler and Brown is Courtney Bynes. The talented two-way standout makes plays on both sides of the football. (Highlight Video)

One of Broward County's best cover corners!
The front seven for Boyd Anderson will be led by Defensive End Shaun Ward (Highlight Video) and Kent Turene (Highlight Video). Ward already has offers from some BCS programs. He comes off the edge quickly and makes plays. His ability to get to the quarterback is what will draw college scouts. Ward is very aggressive and can make plays against the run and pass. His teammate Kent Turene is also a big play linebacker. He is constantly around the football and makes plays through out each game. The 2011 linebacker received one of his first offers from Nebraska. We expect his offer sheet to continue to grow.

One of Browards best Linebacker Kent Turene!

Ward is starting to draw major interest from BCS Schools!
Leading the offense next year will be quarterback Dane James. The senior quarterback will be asked to lead one of the more potent offenses in Broward County next year. He is a good enough athlete to make plays with his legs. His arm has strength and accuracy continues to improve all the time. (Highlight Video).

When you need the tough catch made look no further then Jesse York!
When Boyd Anderson wants to throw the football next season they will look Jessie York’s way. He brings both size (6′1) and solid speed (4.5) to the table. He runs solid routes and after getting open James gets extra those extra yards to help his offense out. (Highlight Video)
The final prospect we will take a look at is DT Patrick James. He is a big body DT whose job is to take on offensive lineman. He will free up space for linebacker Kent Turene to make plays. He is solid coming off the ball and will most likely demand the double team this upcoming season. James is a good player who should also get some looks by college coaches. (Highlight Video)
