Ed Foley just waiting for an opportunity!

The State of Florida turns out over 300+ D1 prospects every year. This year will be no different but those numbers could close as high as 400 for the class of 2010. Among those that have yet to commit is Darrin Kitchens on Homestead High School. The heat has turned up for the talented linebacker and he now has teams like Florida and Florida State battling it out for his services. He is not the only prospect on the board that has yet to make a decision on where he is going to school. We discuss all of the big name prospects on ESS but the guys who have slid under the radar need to be talked about as well.

Dade County:

Brandon Gainer- Miami Central-Gainer is a name that has slipped under the radar recently. He is one of the best backs in Florida this year. UCF, Texas Tech, Southern Miss is just a few of the schools trying to secure his signature.

Charles Fashaw-Northwestern-Early on Fashaw was a name that many were talking about when it came to tight ends. Now he is looking for a school to sign with.

Javon Wrentz-Booker T. Washington-While Quinton Dunbar is the receiver talked about the most from BTW it is Wrentz who can end up the star in college.

JJ Worton-South Dade- We have brought up Worton name recently on this site. He is one of the most underrated prospects in South Florida this year.

Jamaine Brooks-Miami Palmett0-He is a prospect that was not really mentioned before November rolled around. Now a few BCS schools are on Brooks. His recruitment should end on a positive note.

Others to watch out for: Daniel Monroe-Coral Reef, DeAndre Mann-Killian, Jose Williams-Southridge, Jon Jenkins-Northwestern, Jimmy Grant-North Miami, Doug Alemenders-North Miami, Domonic Morris-Booker T, Jelanie Rouland-Booker T, Tommy Heffernan-Columbus, Shawn Brown-Miami Central, Sean Jenkins-Westminster Christian, Rickey Joseph-Northwestern, Raheem Jackson-Hialeah, Nicholas Williams-North Miami Beach, Marlon Kelly-Krop, Manny Diaz-HML and Labranden Richardson-Miami Central.

Broward County:

Trevaughn Fairclough: South Broward-When you watched South Broward play Trevaughn was one of their most productive players on defense. Look for someone to pick him up on the final weekend.

Tony Grimes: Hollywood Hills- After ESS exposed Grimes this past off-season his stock blew up. He now will choose among schools like Michigan, Maryland and Mississippi.

Joe McNamara-Cypress Bay-After an early commit Stanford, McNamara tore his ACL. He is now seeing what the best option for him on NSD is. Once fully recovered someone will be getting a steal.

Others to watch out for: Matthew Grant-Boyd Anderson, Jurael Watson-Cardinal Gibbons, Joe Harmon-American Heritage Plantation, John Baglia-Saint Thomas, Devin Drane-Plantation, Denzell McCullum-McArthur, David D’Attila-Taravella, Daniel Francis-Northeast and Cassius McDowell-Deerfield Beach.

Palm Beach:

Mike Fleurizard-Dwyer-The talented DT really came on strong at the end of the season. With so few quality defensive tackles, Fleurizard will sign with a big time school on Wednesday.

Leon Shorter-Ft Pierce Westwood-The talented receivers has yet to find a home. He has very good hands and plays under control.

Patrick Harris-Treasure Coast-Harris is one name that is never mentioned when discussing wide receiver prospects. He is a very good prospect that never gets talked about.

Demetrius Evans-Glades Central-He could be the type of kid we discuss in a couple of years that ends up a star. Glades Central has had no name players in the past becomes stars. One plays for the Indianapolis Colts now.

Will Powers-Jupiter Christian-After a great high school career the talented back has been ignored. He should see some interest come the next couple of weeks after NSD.

Others to watch out for: Willie Huggins-Clewiston, Terrell Williams-Boca, Michel Smith-Glades Central, Marcus Bean-Boynton Beach, Eric Alvarez-Treasure Coast, Ed Foley-Treasure Coast, Eddie Fontes-Olympic Heights, Craig Dowdy-Dwyer and Cedric Wilcox-Treasure Coast.

Naples-Ft Myers:

Tray Schley-South Ft Myers-He was committed to FIU. Schley no longer is committed to the Golden Panthers. Look for someone to snatch him up this week.

Markese Brantley-Charlotte-Heading into his junior year Brantley looked like a prospect we would be all over. He has since gone under the radar.

Joe Byrd-Ida Baker-He is one of the faster players in the Ft Myers area. Now he needs to become a complete football player. His speed alone should entice someone to take a serious look at Byrd on NSD.

Others of Interest-Zac Rittberg-Gulf Coast, Schon Thomas-Dunbar, Latrayon Fagins-Bradenton SE, Larry Gary-Cape Coral, Kion White-Dunbar, James Holland-East Lee County, Garrett Greenwell-Riverdale, Donald Reseau-Lely and Bo Cervalo-Cardinal Mooney.

Tampa-St Pete:

TJ Glover-Plant-He is not real big but Glover overcomes that with great speed and quickness. His grades may be the biggest drawback.

Tim Jackson-Gibbs-Here is a prospect to keep an eye on. If he puts it all together Jackson could be a player we ask how he went under the radar.

Mike Mirabella-Plant-He has been one of the Plants top players on defense the past two seasons. He seems to make every tackle.

Others to watch out for: Tarean Austin-Hillsborough, Justin Davis-Alonso, Hank McCloud-Tampa Catholic, Eric Dungy-Plant, DeAndre Queen-Plant and Bobby Lyons-East Lake.

Central Florida:

Noel Scricca-Titusville-He is a name of a player that ESS put on the map as a junior. He needs to find a position at the next level (TE/DE).

Matt Younger-Cocoa-He led Cocoa to back to back titles. That should give him some clout with college coaches.

Kenneth Kirksey-Mainland-The talented defensive tackle has slid under the radar most of this season. He could go the juco route and become a highly rated prospect in two years.

Others to watch out for: Stanley Evans-South Lake, Nick Coon-South Lake. RJ Black-Cocoa Beach and Christian Prouancha-Cocoa Beach.

Jacksonville:

Tucker Blanton-Providence-Blanton plays at a small private school in Jacksonville. Some team should give him a look because from a size standpoint he is a good looking kid. He could end up a nice pick up for someone on NSD.

Mose Countryman-Mandarin-He is a solid FCS prospect at this time. We could see him on a D1 roster come next fall.

Juwan Jamison-Bolles-He tripped to Rutgers recently. The odds are he will sign with a D1 program on Wednesday.

Others to watch out for: Sammy Crawford-First Coast, Kevin Bell-Mandarin, Kadeem Perry-First Coast, Jay Herndon and Alex Gallaher-Mandarin.

Panhandle:

Kemmerick Williams-Pensacola-He played like a star in the state title game. He plays in an area that does not get much exposure. Williams could end up being a name we hear about over the next couple of years.

Jerome McClain-Pensacola-Defensive Tackles are always in high demand. Look for McClain to draw some D1 interest in this final week.

Others to watch out for: Cameron Rogers-Rickards, David Crumite-Jefferson Co and Elliot Lowery-Pensacola.
