One of Palm Beach top prospects for 2011 Kelvin Benjamin!

ESS over the past couple of months has done feature stories on many teams throughout the state of Florida. One of the teams that have plenty of talent is Glades Central. ESS will breakdown some of their players for the class of 2010, 2011 and 2012. We have footage from games they have played throughout the season.

Kelvin Benjamin-6′6/220-WR-(2011)-Benjamin is a prospect that is quickly moving up the ranks for the class of 2011. He has great size (6′6) and he is deceptively fast for a big guy. He will be a major miss-match for opposing defenses. While he does not have elite speed, Benjamin more then makes up for it with his size. Benjamin already holds offers from multiple D1 programs. Greg Dent Class of 2010!

Greg Dent Class of 2010!

Greg Dent-6′1/190-DB/WR-(2010)-Dent has become one of the elite prospects in South Florida this season. The University of Miami Commitment has played very well in 2009. He can make an impact on either side of the football. As a receiver, Dent is deadly on the underneath routes. He also does a good job of going up and getting the football at its highest point. On defense he has a knack for making the big play. Dent is also a very solid open field tackler. The Hurricanes look to have gotten themselves one of the steals for 2010. (Video Link)

Travis Bell-6′2/200-DB-(2010)-Bell is one of the first prospects that stand out every time you turn on a Glades Central football game. He has a knack for finding the football. If Bell does not lead Glades Central in interceptions he has to be one of the team leaders. He plays with nice range and does not mind coming up and playing the run. University of West Virginia once again came down to South Florida and landed a pretty good defensive back. The last defensive back they landed from South Florida could end up a four year starter (Robert Sands-Carol City). (Video Link)

Demetrius Evans-6′0/180-(2010) Evans gets overlooked with both Greg Dent and Kelvin Benjamin is two elite receivers. Evans is a very solid #3 receiver and would be more heavily recruited if at another school. He has nice size and solid speed. Look for Evans to have more offers as he plays well in the playoffs. Dominic Gibson-5′11/185-(2012) we expect Gibson to be one of the Raiders top prospects in the class of 2012. The sophomore played very well this season. Gibson has a knack for finding the football. He has solid ball skills and continues to improve as an open field tackler. He is a prospect to keep an eye on. (Video Link)

Isiah Corbett-6′1/245-(2010) Isiah came over from Boynton Beach High School. He has more then made an impact this season coming off the edge. He has a nice first step off the football. Corbett is much better trying to stop the run this season. As a pass rusher he needs to get a little quicker off the ball. (Video Link)
