Through 9 weeks of the football season Reynolds has rushed for over 1100 yards and 13 touchdowns. His 7.28 yards/carry is one of the best in Broward County this season. Reynolds transferred into Douglas this past off-season from Cardinal Gibbons High. Reynolds is one of the lone bright spots on a Douglas offense that has been inconsistent all season long. Look for Reynolds to be one of the top rated junior prospects in Broward County. Not only does Reynolds get it done on the field, he also gets it done off the field. Reynolds carries over a 4.0 GPA. We expect him to receive plenty of interest during spring football as his offer sheet continues to grown.
What we like about Reynolds: For his size (5′8/175) he runs very hard. You won’t see many other backs of his size run with as much violence he does. Reynolds actually seeks out contact when on the football field. He is very physical for his size and that’s what impresses us the most. You also have to like that Reynolds has the ability to take it the distance anywhere on the football field. His speed and quickness makes him a focal point of every defense Douglas plays.
What he needs to work on: For Reynolds to become a complete player, he needs to be more involved in the passing game. He is the type of back that many schools will wonder if he can be a threat out of the backfield as a receiver. His stats as a receiver this season have been less then impressive. We feel Reynolds can be a threat out of the backfield but he needs to show us now. Another thing he can’t really work on but will be questioned from the colleges is his size. Reynolds is never going to be a big back. While he runs like a big back at times, Reynolds is still only 5′8.
Final Thoughts: ESS always is impressed with one thing and that is production. Reynolds has produced at a very high level. With over 1,100 yards and one game remaining Reynolds gets it done on the football field. He also is a great character prospect which is very important. Scholarships are hard to come by and when a prospect is productive and carries a 4.0 GPA, you can bet they will draw plenty of interest. Reynolds will be a prospect that many schools give a long, hard look at during spring football. It would not surprise us one bit if Reynolds has double digit offers by the time May rolls around.

Orville is a good football player and an even better kid. He will have a successful career at a good D1 school.
I agree. Reynolds is a very good back and should do very well in college. He is also a great character kid which is always important. College coaches like kids that not only can play the game but have Reynolds type of attitude off it as well.
I saw at the Eagles last game of their season and saw Reynolds play for the first time and I was impressed. He is the real deal, the total package and considering he being a junior with 4.0 GPA
he is going to go places. His work ethics must be of the highest standards and his focus and determination are on target. He is going to need an extra mail box for the offers are going to come fast and furious. His best is yet to come.GO # 5 THE SKY IS THE LIMIT.GOD BLESS
