Top Longsnapper at Elite Scouting Special Teams Camp!

The best high school specialists from around the state of Florida traveled down to Cardinal Gibbons High School this past Sunday to compete in the Elite Scouting Services Combine. For one day, the players kicked, punted, and snapped under the watchful eye of Coach Tim Conrad, who runs BIGfoot Kicking out of Ft. Lauderdale. Conrad, who has produced more D-I specialists than anyone in the United States the last 10 years, came away impressed.

FORT LAUDERDALEWith years of experience in running football camps and combines, listening to what people continue to say and understanding the state of the current economy, Elite Scouting Services set out to make a difference in the way these events are held.

 

They came from as far away as Orlando, Jacksonville and Homestead as the final weekend before spring practice was a two-day football fest at Cardinal Gibbons High, and when the event was completed on Sunday afternoon with Tim Conrad’s BIGFoot Kicking and Special Teams Camp, calls and e-mails flooded ESS with a resounding thumbs up!

Top Recruits Visit USF for Spring Game

Last night’s spring game was held at Raymond James Stadium and the team hosted about 50 recruits from around the state of Florida. Here is a list of some of the top recruits that were on the sidelines.

Purdue Latest to Offer Jax CB

Interest in Jacksonville CB Rashad Knight is picking up steam.  The 5-foot-10, 180 pound corner from Trinity Christian received an offer from Purdue on Saturday night.  He’s a physical man-to-man corner and had two picks as a junior, mainly because teams stopped throwing his way. 

 

“I get up and jam.  I’m up at the line 99% of the time,” said Knight.

Sooners Land Big Time Quarterback!

From our sources close to Blake Bell the talented Kansas quarterback has made up his mind. He chose Oklahoma earlier today while on campus visiting the Sooners. This is a big time get as Bell is one of the top rated quarterbacks in the Country. We will have more on the story later on. Bell chose OU over Miami, Georgia, LSU, Kansas State and Nebraska. Bell had over 20 offers but decided to stay close to home and commit to the Sooners. We are working on getting more information and will have a follow up story later on.

When it comes to one of the more unique names in recruiting this year one stands above the rest, Jose Jose. The talented Offensive lineman from Booker T. Washington came onto the recruiting scene a little over 2 years ago. Now he is more then a house-hold name in recruiting circles, Jose is one of the more heavily recruited prospects in South Florida. Jose just received new offers from Alabama, Georgia, NC State, Florida and Rutgers. Those are not the only schools looking to ink Jose signature this fall. The 6′2, 330 pound lineman from Booker T. Washington is getting ready for spring ball. We had the opportunity to speak with Jose about the recruiting process and what he is looking forward to this summer and into the fall. (more…)
