Post Season Top 150-FLORIDA

Post Season Top 150-FLORIDA

Joseph Yearby-One of the top backs in the Sunshine State!

Joseph Yearby-One of the top backs in the Sunshine State!

1) Sony Michel-American Heritage Plantation- RB -5’11-215-(Committed to Georgia): Michel has been the number 1 player in Florida since his 1st season at Heritage. Nothing has changed as Michel led his team to their first state title in school history. He is a complete back. He can run between the tackles, bounce it outside and even gives your offense a major threat out of the backfield as a receiver.

2) Dalvin Cooke-Miami Central-RB-5’11-195-(Committed to Florida State): Some could argue that Cooke is the top back in Florida. He gives you a back with big time speed. Get him in the open and there is no one in the country that will catch him. He has the ability to get outside the tackles and go the distance. If he played on defense, Cooke would also be the top rated defensive back in Florida.

3) Joseph Yearby-Miami Central-RB-5’9-180-(Committed to Miami): Yearby is the most natural running back on the board. He can run between the tackles, he can bounce it outside and Yearby will get you the tough yards on 3rd and 1 and put it into the end-zone when you get into the red-zone. He also has very good hands. His vision, balance and toughness are 2nd to no one.

4) Bo Scarborough-IMG Academy-RB-6’2-220-(Committed to Alabama): Bo is one of the most gifted athletes in Florida. He can play running back, receiver or possibly even linebacker at the next level. He is one of the more physically impressive looking players in Florida. Watch him run and Bo pulls away from defenders which at his size is quite impressive.

5) Demarcus Christmas-Manatee-DT-6’4-285-(Committed to Florida State): If not for an early commitment you would have every team in the country after Demarcus. He is big and can move. Those are two traits that can’t be taught. What we like about Demarcus is his versatility. He can play DE in a 3-4 or move inside to tackle in a 4-3. He is the ideal defensive lineman.

6) KC McDermott-Palm Beach Central-OT-6’6-280-(Committed to Miami): McDermott is a big guy who moves well for his size. You could argue at times he is the number one prospect in Florida. He is very flexible for a bigger lineman. Once in a college weight program you may be looking at a Steve Hutchinson type lineman. He is both effective as a run and pass blocker.

7) Chad Thomas-Booker T. Washington-DE-6’5-235-(Committed to Miami): Thomas is one of the premier defensive ends in the Country. He gives you size and speed off the edge. What is crazy is we could easily see him get to 290 pounds and end up as a 3-tech. He can put pressure on the opposing quarterback and that is what college coaches like when they turn on the film. He also gives you the size to hold the edge and handle shutting down the run.

8) Jacob Pugh-Godby-DE/OLB-6’4-235-(Committed to Florida State): No one has seen their stock rise more than Pugh. He was a top 30-40 prospect coming into his senior season. At times he dominated in 2013. Put him on the edge and have him rush the passer and the results will be very good. He is also big and physical enough to hold the edge on running downs. What we like about Pugh most is his ability to drop into coverage and line up against bigger receivers and tight ends.

9) Ermon Lane-Homestead-WR-6’3-185-(Committed to Florida): There is no question that Lane is the most gifted receiver in Florida. He gives you size and speed. He creates match up nightmares for an opposing defense. He runs solid routes and has good hands. The only thing holding Lane back is himself.

10) Travis Rudolph-Cardinal Newman-WR-6’1-180: Travis is a player we first saw as a sophomore at a 7-0n-7 tournament. Outside of Pugh not many other players saw their stock rise as much as him. He is a very fluid athlete who can play receiver or cornerback and have a ton of success in college. He has nice size and speed for a receiver.

11) JC Jackson-Immokalee-WR/DB-5’11-190-(Committed to Florida): Jackson has one gear, very fast. He can get by defenders and once in the open field will not be caught. His ability to make something out of nothing makes Jackson a good prospect to have on offense. While he is a very good receiver prospect many like him as a defensive back.

12) Anthony Moten-Saint Thomas-DE-6’4-270-(Committed to Miami): Moten is another versatile defensive lineman in the 2014 class. He is an ideal 3-4 DE or can move inside to tackle in a 4-3. He can give you a pass rush or help stop the run. He is probably closer to 300 pounds and with that size is very difficult to move off the football.

13) Kain Daub-Sandalwood-LB-6’2-235-(Committed to Florida State): Daub was a top shelf linebacker heading into his senior season. His stock has dropped. He is a pure MIKE linebacker and the days of guys just running downhill are almost over. He can drop back into coverage and play the pass but it is not a great strength of his. We could see him possibly grow into a defensive end in college.

14) David Sharpe-Providence-OT-6’6-280-(Committed to Florida): Talent wise there is not a more gifted lineman in Florida. He is a very good athlete (plays basketball) and dominates in both sports. The biggest drawback with Sharpe at this time is the lack of competition that he goes against. He is big, athletic and can run. He has great length for a lineman and bends real well. You are looking at a potential first round pick down the road if he can concentrate on football.

15) Travonte Valentine-Champagnat-Catholic-DT-6’4-320-(Committed to Miami): Talent wise there is not a more gifted player then Valentine. He is big and can move. His biggest issues are with his consistency. We would like to see him dominate more on a consistent basis. He will collapse a pocket and force a back to run outside the tackle box. He also makes it difficult for opposing quarterbacks to step up into the pocket. He has the talent to one day play on Sundays.

16) Treon Harris-Booker T. Washington-QB./Ath.-5’10-180-(Committed to Florida State): Treon has come a long way since we first saw him play quarterback two years ago. He has a good feel for the game and knows how to get all his receivers and backs involved in the offense. He is a point guard pretty much playing quarterback. What he lacks is great size and that is something that has kept other schools from offering him as a quarterback. He could also excel as a receiver or defensive back in college.

17) Artavis Scott-East Lake-WR/CB-5’11/175-(Committed to Clemson): Scott is another one of the receivers in this year’s class who could also star at cornerback in college. He is a smooth athlete who can transition well. You watch how he puts his foot in the ground and change direction and you just imagine what Scott would be like at cornerback. When he has lined up on that side of the football Scott has excelled.

18) Trevor Darling-Miami Central-OT-6’5-290-(Committed to Miami): Darling is a four year starter for Miami Central. He is another big guy who moves well. While not the athlete that KC or Sharpe is, Darling is still pretty good. We project him more as a right tackle or guard in college. He is a kid who is willing to be coached up. We expect him to red-shirt and end up being a 2-3 year three starter once he adjusts to college football.

19) Mason Cole-East Lake-OT-6’5-270-(Committed to Michigan): While there are 2-3 elite offensive lineman in Florida this year, Cole is in that second group. He is a big, long, athletic guy who has not even come close to his potential. He still needs to get bigger and stronger to handle the defensive lineman Cole will face at the next level. He does move well and is fluid for a guy his size. You always worry about lineman being stiff but that is not an issue with Cole.

20) Trey Marshall-Lake City-DB-6’1-190-(Committed to Florida State): Marshall is one of the true safeties in Florida this year that could make an impact right away. He was injured early in his senior season so Marshall was not talked about much. He does a good job of playing in coverage and Marshall is physical enough to come up and play the run.

21) Javon Harrison-Kathleen-Ath.-6’1/175-(Committed to Virginia Tech): Harrison is one of the better two way talents in Florida. He is not talked about much because of his early commitment and his school is not featured much. Harrison is a big, long, athletic receiver who has tremendous upside. He can run real well.

22) Khairi Clark-Chaminade-DT-6’2-315-(Committed to Florida): Clark has top ten talents. His biggest issue was Clark senior year did not go as planned. He got off to a slow start and once Clark started to play well a foot injury put him out for the rest of the season. He is a good kid who once in a college weight program should excel. He needs to get back to playing at the level Clark was as a sophomore that made him a priority in the class of 2014.

23) Quincy Wilson-University School-DB-6’1-185-(Committed to Florida): Wilson plays cornerback but it would not shock us to see him play safety or possibly even linebacker in college. He is one of the more versatile defensive backs on the board. He is fluid enough to play cornerback. His biggest issue is that Quincy needs to learn to not lunge at a receiver. When he does that Wilson gets off balance and that can get him into trouble. His technique can be worked on. What you can’t teach is his size and speed.

24) Trayon Gray-Carol City-WR-6’2-205-(Committed to Miami): Gray is one of the types of players who comes from South Florida that not many talk about and then ends up getting drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft three years later. He is big and can run. When you turn on his senior film you are looking at prospect who is a top ten talent.

25) Corey Martinez-Tampa Catholic-OG-6’4-280-(Committed to Florida State): Martinez is one of the most improved players over the past two seasons. He has transformed his body and overall game to the point that we could see him potentially making an early impact in college. He is a very good run blocker. His pass blocking is where the greatest improvement has come. Corey is versatile enough play tackle, guard or center in college.

26) Quinton Flowers-Miami Jackson-QB/Ath.6’0-200-(Committed to USF): Flowers has been a starter since his freshman season. He is one of the better quarterbacks in Florida. He has a very good arm and can make pretty much every throw. As a runner there is not a more dangerous quarterback in Florida. He is a top ten talent but as a quarterback his stock is around the 20-30 range.

27) Chris Lammons-Plantation-CB-5’10-170-(Committed to Florida): One of the big reasons why Plantation has had success the past two years is Chris. He is a very competitive player who has nice upside. He plays quarterback but when lined up at cornerback, Lammons is a natural on that side of the football. What he has is great length.

28) Duke Dawson-Dixie Co-CB-5’10-180-(Committed to Florida): Dawson reminds us of Terrance Brooks who was from the same area of Florida and now is a starter at Florida State. He is a physical cornerback but that we could see ending up at safety in college. He has good cover skills and is physical enough to play up in the box and help in run support

29) Johnny Dixon-Dwyer-WR-5’11-185- (Committed to Ohio State): Dixon has been on the radar the past two seasons. He is a solid athlete who could play on either side of the football. He has good straight line speed but not a ton of wiggle. He is the type of player that needs space to be effective.

30) Brandon Powell-Deerfield Beach-Ath.-5’8/175-(Committed to Miami): Powell is one of the more versatile athletes in Florida this year. He played running back, receiver and defensive back this season. He also lined up on special teams. It does not matter where he lines up as Powell is a big play threat every time he touches the football. He is an impact player and we expect much of the same in college.

31) Keyon Brown-Hardee-DE-6’2-250-(Committed to Georgia): Brown is one prospect we have kept an eye on for the past two seasons. He is a good athlete (plays RB) and has quick feet. He lacks great size (6’2) for a defensive end. He is built more like a DT. Going to a 3-4 scheme and playing end will really help Brown out.

32) Montel McBride-Plant City-OG-6’4-315-(Committed to Alabama): McBride is a big, straight line blocker. He is the type of guy you get on a defender and the play may as well be whistled dead. He is going to be most effective run blocking. He is an interior lineman that lacks great lateral quickness to play outside.

33) Blake McClain-Sandalwood-DE-6’3-245-(Committed to Florida State): McClain is a prospect we first saw at Nease High School while he was only a freshman. He was a player who we could see as a potential defensive end or possibly even move over to the offensive line and play guard. He has decent length for a defensive end. His strength will be as a 3-4 DE helping out against the run.

34) Darrell Langham-Santaluces-WR-6’3-200-(Committed to Miami): Langham has been under the radar much of his high school career. Turn on his film or watch him live and you will realize that he is underrated as a prospect. He has top 10-15 physical talent and if Langham puts it all together watch out.

35) Delvin Purifoy-Pensacola Catholic-LB-6’2-230-(Committed to Florida State): Purifoy was an early commitment who most people have forgotten about. He is an inside linebacker that is going to excel playing downhill. He is physical enough to hold up against the run. He is also athletic enough to drop into coverage and cover a receiver or tight end in space.

36) Isaiah McKenzie-American Heritage Plantation-Ath.-5’8-175-(Committed to Notre Dame): There are about 2-3 explosive players in Florida this year and McKenzie is one of them. He has committed to Notre Dame and there has not been a player in South Bend this fast since Rocket Ishmael played for them. He is a game changer and should make a major impact right away for the Irish.

37) Adam Torres-Lake Mary-DT-6’4-280-(Committed to Florida State): Torres is a prospect who has really improved his body over the past two seasons. Two years ago we were not sure if he was going to be big enough to play major D1 football. Now you have to ask yourself if he will be 300 pounds by the time he steps onto a college campus. He is a versatile enough player to play on defense (DT) or offense (Guard).

38) Trent Harris-Winter Park-DE-6’2-235-(Committed to Miami): Harris has the quick first step off the ball to get pressure on opposing quarterbacks. He is also versatile enough to line up at defensive end or outside linebacker. His athletic ability should allow him to drop into coverage and make plays against the pass.

39) Isaiah Wynn-Lakewood-OG/C-6’2-285-(Committed to Georgia): Wynn is an undersized interior lineman. We expect him to play guard or center I college. He plays with a bit of a mean streak and really gets after the guy opposite him. He has good feet and moves well for a lineman. You can use him as a drive blocker or have him come around and pull block. He is an effective player and should have a nice college career.

40) Andrew Beck-Tampa Plant-MLB-6’3-230-(Committed to Texas): Beck may be the most natural middle linebacker in the 2014 class. He has good instincts and understands what the opposing offense is trying to do before the snap of the football. He is a good enough athlete to not be a liability in coverage.

41) Travaris Dorsey-Raines-OG-6’4-330-(Committed to Florida): Dorsey is a big, powerful lineman. We first saw this talented prospect as a freshman. He is another early commit whose recruitment lost steam once that happened. He is an ideal guard prospect whose strength is lining up and run blocking. He can pass block but there is more need for improvement in that area of his game.

42) Kendall Sawyer-East Lee County-DB-6’0-185-(Committed to USF): Physically there are not many better defensive backs in Florida this year. He has both the size and speed to match up against most receivers Sawyer goes against. He needs to work on his technique to become a more complete player in college.

43) Denzel Ware-Crestview-DE-6’3-225-(Committed to Kentucky):Ware is another prospect that had a ton of hype two years ago but has seen his stock slip. He is a big kid who has the physical traits you look for in an end. With his frame we could easily see him put on another 25-30 pounds and become a dominant player in college.

44) Jakob Johnson-Ribault-DE-6’4-220-(Committed to Tennessee): Johnson originally is from Germany. He has learned the game of football quickly and became a standout this past season. He has not even come close to reaching his potential. His frame should allow him to add the needed weight to become a 255-260 pound defensive end.

45) Darrion Owens-Oak Leef-DB-6’4-200-(Committed to Miami): Owens was a prospect we first saw two years ago at Ed White. He was one of the bigger safeties (6’4) we saw play in person. His frame should allow him to add the needed weight to play linebacker in college. With his frame and range there is no question that Owens could end up a very good player in college.

46) TJ Harrell-Tampa Catholic-Ath.-5’11-200: Harrell was a hot name before the season. He is a two way standout that needs to settle into one position and excel there. He is a good athlete who can give you some versatility on the football field. He has a high football IQ and that should help him adjust quickly to the college game.

47) Decorius Law-Haines City-Ath.-5’11-200: Law is one of the better prospects in Florida no one really talks about. He can play running back, receiver or defensive back. His main issues are off the field. He needs to get qualified. If he was qualified his offer sheet would be twice as large.

48) Demetrius Jackson-Booker T. Washington-DE-6’4-215-(Committed to Miami): Jackson was a former basketball player who went out for football in the spring. The change of sports paid off big time as Jackson got an offer to attend University of Miami. After his play on the field this fall more schools came after the talented end. He can give you so many options whether it is as a defensive end or standup outside linebacker at the next level.

49) Steve Ishmael-North Miami Beach-WR-6’3-185: If there is one player who has flown under the radar all season long it is Ishmael. If he went to a bigger time program there is no question that his offer sheet would be much more impressive. Ishmael dominated in almost every game he played in. He also is a good enough athlete to play defensive back in college.

50) Marlon Mack-Sarasota Booker-Ath-5’11-200-(Committed to UCLA): Mack reminds us of Fabian Moreau. What is ironic is Mack will end up at UCLA just like the former Floridian. Like with Fabian, Mack best days are on the defensive side of the football.

51) CJ Worton –South Dade-WR-5’11-180-(Committed to Florida State): Worton has been one of the best receivers in Dade County for the past two seasons. He runs good routes, has good hands and can get behind a secondary. It was his play in the state title game that lifted South Dade to its first state title in school history.

52) Rashawn Shaw-Ft. Pierce Central-DE-6’2-220: Shaw is another player who has been on the recruiting radar for the past two seasons. What has hurt Shaw is that he measures in just around 6’1-6’2. If he was 6’3 or taller his offer sheet would be much bigger. He has a good first step off the ball and can put pressure on the quarterback. He is at his best stopping the run. In college he may have to move to outside linebacker.

53) Dillon Bates-Ponte Verde-LB-6’2-210-(Committed to Tennessee): Bates is a legacy kid. That being said when you turn on the film you see his ability to make plays. He is an active linebacker that has a good nose for the football. Coming from a football family makes him pretty much the quarterback of his defense. Bates understands the game of football and knows where he needs to be at all times.

54) Richard Yeargin-University School-LB-6’4-220-(Committed to Notre Dame): Yeargin has played linebacker and been used as an edge rusher. We feel that his games translate best with his hand on the ground. It would not surprise us to see him put on another 25-30 pounds and end up as a defensive end in college.

55) Tyree McCants-Niceville-Ath.-5’11-190: McCants is a prospect we first saw at IMG two years ago. After watching him in the state title game we liked what McCants was able to do. He is a very good athlete who can play running back, receiver or defensive back. He has good size and length to play defensive back.

56) Ravian Pierce-Plantation-Ath.-6’3-215-(Committed to Arkansas): Pierce plays receiver and tight end in high school. He has also seen some time on the defensive side of the football. With his defensive mentality to playing offense we see him more as a linebacker in college. He runs well and likes to be aggressive. He is a very good athlete and if Pierce plays defense in college we expect it to be a smooth transition.

57) Derrick Kelly-East Gasden-OT-6’4-275: Kelly committed to University of Kentucky early in the process. After a very good senior season his stock went through the roof. He has good size and is athletic for a big guy. Kelly upside tells you that he is someone that could end up a three year starter and an All-Conference type prospect. He has since received offers from almost all the top programs in the SEC and ACC.

58) Tyre Brady-South Dade-WR-6’3-180-(Committed to University of Miami):Brady is a prospect that Elite has liked since the first time we saw him play. He is a hard working prospect that continues to get better every-time Brady steps on a field. He has improved his route running and getting off the line of scrimmage. He had good hands and above average speed for a receiver.

59) Josh Allen-University Christian-OG-6’3-275-(Committed to North Carolina): Allen is another undersized offensive lineman from Florida this year. Like with guys like Isaiah Wynn, Allen will be relegated to playing either guard or center in college. He has good feet and moves well for a lineman. He lacks great length so guys that are bigger than Allan may give him problems at times.

60) Rohan Blackwood-Nature Coast-DE-6’4-220-(Committed to Wisconsin): Blackwood comes from a part of the state which does not produce a ton of football prospects. He is a former basketball player who has not even come close to reaching his potential. He needs to get bigger and stronger and continue to work on his technique. The physical attributes are there for Blackwood to become a very good player, now it is up to him.

61) Reilly Gibbons-St Pete Catholic-OT-6’6-270-(Committed to Miami):Two years ago Reilly was a tight end. He has grown into an offensive tackle. He still is very raw but the potential is there for him to be very good in a couple of years. He is the perfect type of prospect to recruit red-shirt and develop before becoming a 2-3 year starter.

62) Kendall Gant-Lake Gibson-S-6’2-190-(Committed to Georgia):We first saw Gant as a freshman at the UCF 7-on-7. We feel that he has the physical attributes to be a very good player in college. What he needs to excel is a good college weight and conditioning program that can enhance his game. He can play safety or possibly even grow into a weak side linebacker.

63) Ryan Sousa-Lake Nona-WR-5’11-180-(Committed to Florida):One of the leading receivers in the state of Florida was Sousa. He had over 20 touchdowns and 1,500 yards this past season. Sousa will be taking a major step up in competition at Florida so how well he adjusts to college will be something we keep an eye on. His production on the football field can’t be overlooked.

64) Nigel Bethel-Booker T. Washington-CB-5’8-180-(Committed to Miami): Bethel is not the biggest cornerback on the board but that does not mean he does not play BIG. Bethel is a physical cornerback for his size. He will struggle against 6’3 and above receivers but we expect him to play more in the slot. He gives you a cornerback with good hips and the ability to turn and run with smaller backs and receivers in space.

65) Reyshene Brunson-Dunbar-WR-6’3-190-(Committed to USF): From a physical standpoint there are not many better looking receivers. He has great size and solid speed. Brunson biggest issues are not from a talent standpoint. He has to want to live up to his immense talent.

66) Charles Nelson-Seabreeze-WR-5’9-190-Nelson is one of the most underrated players in Florida this season. He is very quick and almost impossible to cover in space. While he had a knee injury two years ago, Nelson showed no signs of it this past season. He has the ability to make one defender miss and go the distance anywhere on the field. While short (5’9), Nelson is not small (close to 200) pounds.

67) Tony James-Gainesville-RB-5’9-185-(Committed to Oregon)-James is electric with the football in his hands. He has the ability to score anywhere on the field. He is the perfect fit in an offense that likes to spread the football. Not only is he effective running the football, James gives you an option out of the backfield as a receiver.

68) Moral Stephens-Taylor County-WR/TE-6’4-215-(Committed to University of Florida):One thing Stephens gives you is a receiver with size (6’4). He is going to be a match up problem whether lining up as receiver against smaller defensive backs. He will also be a match up problem for a linebacker if Stephens plays tight end.

69) Jo Jo Robinson-Miami Northwestern-WR-5’10-180-(Committed to Florida State):As a sophomore and junior Robinson was a fast rising star. His senior year did not go as planned as Robinson numbers dropped. He is a very good athlete who can line up as a running back, receiver or defensive back in college.

70) Freddie Booth Lloyd-Cocoa-DT-6’1-295-(Committed to Tulane): For a big guy there are not many that move better than Lloyd. He gets off the ball quickly and is strong enough to give most offensive lineman fits. Physically, he does not look like an All-American but the way Lloyd plays on the field would tell you otherwise. He may end up one of the better defensive line prospects in this year’s class when all is said and done.

71) Michael Smith-Miami Northwestern-LB-6’3-215-(Committed to Miami):Until this past season Smith was used primarily as an edge rusher. He gives you a guy who can put pressure on opposing quarterbacks. This past season he was moved to linebacker. He is a versatile defensive prospect that can be moved around the field and produce.

72) Marques Gayot-Park Vista-DB-6’0-200-(Committed to Miami): When you watch Park Vista practice or play in a game, he is one of the first players which stand out. He plays defensive back but his frame tells us there is a possibility of a move to linebacker in college. With more teams going to spread offenses, Gayot gives you a guy who can drop into coverage and still have the size to play the run.

73) Peyton Bender-Cardinal Gibbons-QB-6’1-200-(Committed to Washington State): Bender may just be the best pure passer in Florida this year. He has a short, compacted, quick release to get rid of the football. He is accurate when given the time to throw. He can make pretty much every throw asked of him. With his heading west to Pullman, we expect Bender to have a very good college career.

74) Lamar Parker-Booker T. Washington-WR-5’8-175-(Committed to West Virginia):As a sophomore and junior Parker was one of the best receivers in Dade County. This year Booker T spread the football around even more and Parker did not get as many touches as prior years. He is the perfect slot receiver for a spread offense. His speed and quickness cause opposing defenses major problems.

75) Justus Reed-Clearwater Central Catholic-DE-6’4-220-(Committed to Florida): Reed is an end that you take based on potential. He is a very raw prospect but with his size (6’4/220) and solid speed there is plenty to work with. If he is going to play end in college, Reed will need to improve his overall strength. If he plays linebacker, Reed will have to red-shirt and learn a new position.

76) Michael O’Connor-IMG Academy-QB-6’4-225-(Committed to Penn State): O’Connor goes to a program in Penn State where he can sit, red-shirt and learn the position for a couple of seasons. He has all the physical tools you want in a quarterback. He has great size (6’4) a very good arm and can move well enough to not be a sitting duck in the pocket.

77) Corey Holmes-Saint Thomas-WR-6’1-190-(Committed to Notre Dame): Holmes is one of the few receivers in this year’s class that will be developed by the time he steps on a college campus. He has good size and above average speed. What he lacks is the ability to stretch the field. He will give you a solid possession receiver who will help move the chains.

78) Jonathan Vickers-North Florida Christian-RB-6’0-210-(Committed to Florida State): Vickers plays running back but we see him more as a potential fullback in college. He has good size and should get bigger once in college. What he lacks is that extra gear to go the distance in college. He is a between the tackles runner who can pick up the tough yards. He can also help out as a receiver on passing downs.

79) Ray Raulerson-Tampa Plant-OT-6’4-280-(Committed to Tennessee): Ray plays tackle but we see him more as a guard in college. He can be a very effective zone blocking lineman at the next level. He has quick feet and can get to the 2nd level. He is a good athlete and you will see him down field blocking defensive backs and linebackers. He is very good as a run blocker but Ray can also handle defensive ends who can rush the passer.

80) Trevon Walters-Manatee-RB-5’10-190-(Committed to Missouri): One thing Walters shows on film is his elusiveness. He makes it very difficult for defenders to tackle him in the open field. He is another back that will excel in a spread offense. While he does not have the same credentials as some of the elite backs in Florida this year we could see Trevon having a great career in college.

81) Jesse Burkett-Bartram Trail-OT-6’4-275-(Committed to Vanderbilt): Burkett is a versatile lineman who could line up at tackle, guard or center in college. He is an above average athlete and can handle most anything thrown his way. His strength is passing blocking and we would like to see him do a little better job of finishing off blocks.

82) Zach Darlington-Apopka-QB-6’1-200-(Committed to Nebraska): Before being injured in Apopka first game, Darlington was one of the best quarterbacks in Florida. He sustained a concussion that kept him out his entire senior season. He should be fully recovered and have a chance to play right away in college. While a very mobile quarterback, Zach gives you the ability to throw the football as well.

83) Madre London-Sain Thomas-RB-6’1-200-(Committed to Michigan State)-London game is similar to Vickers. He is a between the tackles, pound it out back. He does have a little more top end speed to break some long runs. What London gives you is a back that can pick up the tough yards. He is a solid receiver but his strength is running the football.

84) Al Harris-Saint Thomas-CB-5’9-175-(Committed to South Carolina): Harris has a good pedigree as his father not only played D1 college football but also in the NFL. Like his father, Harris is a slim defensive back. He needs to get bigger and stronger to handle receivers in college. He has decent size and above average speed. He makes up for his deficiencies by understanding the position.

85) Raashed Kennion-(First Coast)-DE-6’5-230-(Committed to Auburn): Kennion is a raw prospect but his upside can’t be questioned. He has the frame to play around 275-280 pounds in college. He is the ideal 3-4 DE or can moved inside and play the 3-tech in a 4-3. He has long arms and is very difficult to block for most high school offensive lineman.

86) Adly Enoicy-Delray Atlantic-WR-6’4-220: Adly plays receiver but we see him more as a defensive player in college. He has the physical skill set to be a very good player in college. While raw, Adly has tremendous upside for a high school prospect. He also comes from a high school program which has produced a ton of talent over the years.

87) Edgar Cerenord-American Heritage Plantation-DT-6’0-290: Edgar is a prospect that plays a position that is in high demand. When you can play DT and then start to produce there will plenty of suitors. After not drawing much interest early, Cerenord play on the field helped him garner plenty of BCS offers. He is now one of the fastest rising stars on the board.

88) Gregory Howell-Coral Gables-RB-6’0-210:With all the talented backs in Florida this year it would not surprise us to see Howell be one of the more productive players at the next level. He has good size and speed. He also can catch the football very well. One of the main reasons for Gables success this year was the play off Howell.

89) Kavaris Harkless-Trinity Christian-OT-6’5-270-(Committed to Louisville): Harkless is a prospect we really liked. He has nice size and Harkless moves well for a bigger guy. He is more suited to playing right tackle or guard in college. Speed rushers who are quick off the ball may give him some problems. His technique still needs some work but once in a college weight program any of those issues can be fixed.

90) Trevon Lee-Cardinal Gibbons-WR-6’0-175: Lee has been very productive for the past three seasons. He gives you a receiver who can get behind the secondary. He also can help catch passes across the middle of the field. He is one of the smarter football ball players you will meet.

91) Joshua Hicks-Palmetto-(Sarasota)-RB-5’10-190-(Committed to Rutgers): Hicks committed early to Rutgers and he went off everyone radar. If not for an early commitment you would have had plenty of schools still on him. He has the speed to get to the edge and score anywhere on the field. He is a one cut back. He does not waste must motion when carrying he football.

92) Jacob McCrary-Coral Reef-WR-6’0-180-(Committed to West Virginia):As a sophomore McCrary was considered the top receiver in the state. After a couple of injuries, his stock really fell. He is a system receiver. If he goes to the right program, McCrary could have a very good career in college.

93) D’Ernest Johnson-Immokalee-RB-6’0-200-(Committed to North Carolina):Johnson reminds us of former Miami Hurricane running back Javaris James. Like with James, Johnson runs well between the tackles but lacks the great home run speed to be an elite back. He can pound the ball and eventually wear a defense down. He also can help out in the pass game.

94) Sharieff Rhaheed-Ft Pierce Central-LB-6’2-200: Rhaheed is your typical undersized Florida linebacker that can run. He has good speed and quickness. He can play in space and with the way college football is going that is the type of linebacker you need. He can cover receivers, backs or tight ends in space. He will struggle if blocked but keep him in space and Rhaheed can make plays against the run.

95) Amani Oruqariye-Gaither-DB-6’1-190-(Committed to Vanderbilt): One trait that we really like with Amani is his length. Even if he gets beat his ability to use his length to knock passes away or pick them off makes him a priority. He has quick feet and can get into good position to make plays. He is a raw prospect but his upside is off the charts. We would not be surprised to see him turn into one of the better defensive backs in the 2014 class.

96) Chris Jones-Sandalwood-CB-6’0-200-(Committed to Purdue): Jones is a defensive back that we first saw at the FSU camp last summer. He displayed both the size and speed that you want in a cornerback. He is very effective coming up and playing man or press coverage. On offense he is quick off the ball and will go up and get the football at its highest point. We feel that he is one of the premier defensive backs in Florida that is never discussed.

97) Chris Nelson-Victory Christian-DT-6’2-290-(Committed to Louisville):We had the opportunity to watch Nelson both on film and live. He is a two way standout that never comes off the field. While he is a very good defensive tackle prospect it would not shock us to see him play guard or center in college. He is not real explosive as a defensive tackles and lacks great size. He can play center and his foot quickness should allow him to overcome his lack of size.

98) Sean White-University School-QB-6’1-200-(Committed to Auburn): When he has time, White throws the ball well. He has a nice release and can get rid of the ball quickly. He is a pure drop back passer. If you put pressure on him or ask White to run that is not the strength of his game.

99) Marvin Zanders-QB-Raines-6’2-200-(Committed to Missouri): Zanders plays quarterback but most schools like him as a potential receiver or defensive back. In the right offensive scheme, Marvin could have success. You would have to build an offense around his strengths. While he can throw the football his strength is running it.

100) Deatrick Nichols-Miami Central-CB-5’10-175-(Committed to USF): Nichols ended up a four year starter for Miami Central. He is not the biggest cornerback but there are very few receivers who have gotten the best of him. He is not only a good cover corner but Nichols is tough in run support.

101) Carter Jacobs-American Heritage Plantation-S-6’1-190-(Committed to Cincinnati): When you watch Heritage Plantation play football there is always one prospect on their defense who always seems to show up, Carter Jacobs. He is tough as nails and will come up and try and take a ball carrier head off. He is not only effective against the run but Jacobs can drop into coverage and help against the pass.

102) Isaiah Ford-Trinity Christian-WR-6’0-185-(Committed to Louisville): Ford showed his versatility to the state title game when he lined up as a quarterback. He is one of the better athletes on a state title team. Considering some of the other players on his team that is saying something. He has good size and above average speed for a receiver. His hands are solid and Ford will catch most anything thrown his way.

103) Lamont Simmons-Jacksonville Raines-CB-6’2-190: Simmons is the type of cornerback that every school seems to be looking for these days. He gives you a player with the size and speed to match up against most receivers. For a bigger cornerback he is not stiff. He can turn and run with most receivers.

104) Kendrick Holland-Winter Haven-6’4-190-(Committed to Virginia Tech):Here is a prospect in three years could be getting ready for the NFL. He has great size and solid speed. Holland is you’re typical under the radar receiver who comes from Florida, goes away to school and ends up a star. He has all the physical tools you look for in a receiver.

105) Ish Witter-Alonso-RB-5’8-175-(Committed to Missouri): Witter can cut on a dime, get up the field and go. He has the ability to make defenders miss and go in the opposite direction without losing any speed or quickness. He is the ideal spread back. His speed and quickness make him very difficult to defend in space. Once in the open field you may as well strike up the band.

106) Deondre Porter, Tampa Jefferson, ATH, 6-2, 190 (Committed to USF): Porter played quarterback for Jefferson but could end up at wide receiver or more likely cornerback for the Bulls in college. His athleticism and playmaking ability is exactly what South Florida needs from its recruits.

107) Desean Blair-Sandalwood-WR-6’3-190-(Committed to Louisville): Blair is one of at least ten receivers in the state of Florida this year that is over 6’2. He gives you a big target that can run crossing routes and help pick up the key third downs. He has some ability to stretch the field but Blair is more of a possession receiver and a guy you will use in the red-zone.

108) Mike Johnson-Countryside-DB-5’11-185-Johnson stock was on the rise early in the spring. He is a defensive back that does play the ball well. What he lacks is great speed and quickness to go cover guys for a long period of time. He just does not have that make up gear if receivers get behind him. He also is not very fluid. Once he is going in one direction, Johnson does not make a smooth transition in the other direction.

109) Terry McCray-Ely-LB-6’1-200-(Committed to Miami): McCray comes from a program that is known for producing college talent. He flew under the radar this spring before committing to the University of Miami. The big question with most linebackers is can they drop back into coverage and help against the pass. With McCray, he is efficient enough at pass coverage that having him on the field is not a liability.

110) Nico Dem Pierre-Coral Reef-QB-6’3-220-(Committed to Duke): Pierre has made an impact at Coral Gables for the past three seasons. He is a quarterback that has great size and can make most every throw. What he needs to works on is his consistency on throwing the 15-20 yard passes. He needs to work on his mechanics and footwork. When he lacks in either of those two areas his accuracy really struggles.

111) Joshua Black-Sickles-LB-6’2-215: Black is a linebacker that we really like. He is not one of the more well-known linebackers on the board but we could see him doing very well in college. He has good size and is just as effective playing the pass as helping out in run support. He can also be used as a blitzing linebacker off the edge. He has a good feel for the game and can make plays behind the line of scrimmage.

112) Benjamin Knox-Deland-OG/C-6’4-290:Knox was committed to University of Florida. He is quick off the ball. He has the ability get off the ball on defense and make plays. What he struggles with is getting low in his stance. He is a little stiff in his lower body. He is probably better suited to playing guard. He does do a good job of finishing off his blocks. He is much more effective as a run blocker.

113) Juwan Dowels-American Heritage Plantation-CB-5’9-180: When we watched Dowels play he pretty much shut down his side of the field. If he was closer to 6’0, Dowels would be one of the top rated cornerbacks in Florida. His lack of size is the main drawback for college recruiters. He had close to ten pass break ups in a game we attended this year.

114) Stanley Clerveaux-North Miami-WR-6’2-190-(Committed to USF): One thing is for certain look anywhere in college football and there is probably a Florida receiver who is making an impact for that college team. Clerveaux is the perfect example of a state that is not only deep but very talented at the receiver position. In any other state Stanley is considered one of the top receivers. In Florida he is just another talented guy looking to make his mark.

115) Step Durham-Atlantic (Jacksonville)-DB-(Committed to Georgia Tech): Durham is a very solid defensive back. He has pretty good ball skills and while his top end speed is not listed high, he seems to run faster than is suggested. He is probably better off playing in a scheme that ask him to play more zone coverage then man. He plays at his best playing off and anticipating quickly what the receiver and quarterback are going to do. He does come up and play well in run support which makes him that more attractive as a defensive back.

116) Jaborre Williams-Ft. Lauderdale-6’0-200-(Committed to Wake Forest): Williams has been on the radar for over two years now. He has been one of Ft. Lauderdale best prospects the past two seasons. He did very well this spring and that is when college coaches started to take notice.

117) Xavier Preston-Jensen Beach-LB-6’2-210: (Committed to West Virginia): Preston committed to West Virginia before the season started. He has played quarterback, running back and linebacker in high school. With his athletic ability we see him as a SAM Backer in college. He has the athletic ability to play on the outside and cover receivers or backs in space. He is a fluid athlete who makes it look easy at times.

118) DJ Gillens-Ribault-QB-6’1-200-(Committed to Wisconsin): Gillens is part of the new breed of quarterbacks that are all over college football. He gives you the ability to beat a defense with his legs. If you let Gillens run the football there is a chance he makes a big play. He has improved his passing which should help him become even more difficult to defend in college.

119) Cornelius Floyd-Gulliver Prep-DB-6’0-190: One thing Floyd gives you is a defensive back that is willing to come up and smack a ball carrier in the mouth. He is a physical player that does not mind contact. What he lacks is the top gear that would make him an elite defensive back. If he was a 4.4 type defensive back there is no question that Floyd would have offers from everyone in the country.

120) John Battle-Hallandale-LB-6’2-200-(Committed to LSU):Battle is one of the best kids you will meet while covering high school football. He not only is a talented football player but excels off the field as well. He plays safety but we see him more as a linebacker in college. With the spread offenses, guys like Battle become more valuable. He is big enough to play linebacker and fast enough to line up in the secondary.

121) Michael Smith-Miami Central-OT-6’5-275-(Committed to USF):Smith was on one of the largest lines in the country this year. He gives you a big body that can move. While still not fully developed these are the types of kids that USF has missed out in the past. He is the type of player you red-shirt and get him in a weight room and watch him grow.

122) Chase Litton-Wharton-QB-6’4-200: Litton has a good arm but lacks consistency throwing the football. He will make one pass that will impress you and the next one will question why he is playing quarterback. He can make all the throws asked of him. He needs to improve his mechanics and that is a big reason why we feel there is a lack of consistency in his game.

123) Kendrick Edwards-Norland-WR-6’5-200: Heading into his senior season, Edwards looked like a potential top 50-60 type player in Florida. As his team struggled on offense so did Edwards. As a junior he seemed to catch a touchdown every game. His senior season the entire offense struggled and Edwards never seemed to find his way.

124) Kyle Gibson-Armwood-DB-6’1-175-(Committed to Vanderbilt): Gibson was another player who really struggled his senior season. While he has some decent cover skills, Gibson is not real physical. He needs to learn to not shy away from contact. While he is a solid prospect, with some nice upside, Gibson has a long ways to go to see the field in college.

125) Greg Miclesse-Bayside-LB-6’0-235: Greg is your typical old-school middle linebacker. You need to play him between the tackles and tell him to run down the field. He does not shy away from contact. If you ask him to play in space, Greg is not as effective. He can drop into coverage but his strength is playing the run.

126) Tajze Battle-Dunbar-Ath.-5’10-180-(Committed to North Carolina):Battle is more suited to playing cornerback than safety. He is lined up at free safety but his skill set is more suited to playing cornerback. He has decent size and above average speed. He just does not have the size or length to play safety at a very high level.

127) Kendall Randolph-Tallahassee Lincoln-DB: 5’11-175: As a sophomore most expected Kendall to become the next great player to come out of Lincoln High School. He never seemed to reach that potential by the time his senior season rolled around. He has good coverage skills but lacks great top end speed.

128) Denarious Graham-Ely-QB-6’1-190: If Graham had played his sophomore and junior seasons he would be rated much higher on this list. We personally clocked him at a 4.42 this past spring. He has the size and speed you want in an athlete. He most likely will have to go the junior college route. In a couple of years we expect him to be one of the top rated athletes coming out of junior college.

129) George Rushing-Cardinal Gibbons-WR-6’1-190-(Committed to Louisville): Rushing has the size but lacks the great top end burst that you want in a receiver. He can get behind a secondary but his lack of top end speed makes it difficult for him to go the distance. He can also play defensive back and make an impact on that side of the field.

130) Devin Abraham-East Lake-DB-5’11-180-(Committed to USF):Another legacy prospect in this year’s class is Devin. He comes from a football family and he has the physical attributes as well. He is a solid defensive back that needs to learn to play with more consistency.

131) Tajee Fulwood-Tampa Bay Tech-WR/DB-6’1-200-(Committed to USF): Fulwood has lined up at both receiver and defensive back. While he can play on the defensive side of the football, Fulwood seems much more natural playing on offense. On defense he is a little hesitant. On offense he much more smooth and that is a big reason why we project him more as a receiver. Most schools are recruiting him as a safety.

132) Sedrick King-Plant City-DE-6’3-215-(Committed to UCF): King is the type of player that goes to UCF, gets into the weight program and develops into an All-Conference performer. He has a good frame and the athletic ability to help overcome his lack of size. He is quick and will close on the football well. He can play outside linebacker but we see him growing into a 245-250 pound end.

133) Alin Edouard-Hialeah-QB-6’1-200: (Committed to Syracuse): Edouard was an early commitment to University of Miami. He was originally being recruited as an athlete. He will now get the chance to play quarterback at Syracuse. While he has a good arm it is his ability to beat you with his legs that has drawn the interest of college coaches.

134) Lawrence Lee, West Florida Tech, WR, 5-10, 190 (Committed to Missouri): Lee will likely be a dynamic slot receiver in Missouri’s spread offense but as a senior he proved his value playing at QB, slot receiver, return specialist and defensive back to get West Florida Tech within a game of the state championship.

135) Alique Terry-Hialeah-C/DT-6’1-290-(Committed to Wake Forest): While Terry plays on the offensive line, he is built like a true NOSE GUARD. He has a wide frame and if he gets to 310-315, Terry would become very difficult to move off the ball. He can be a very good center but put him on defense and Terry could end up having a very good career. He has quick feet and Terry is also pretty strong. He is ahead of where most other lineman is at the same point of their careers.

136) Juan Jenkins-Gainesville-DB-6’0-200: Jenkins is more of a strong safety then free. He is best playing close to the line of scrimmage and helping out against the run. He is a physical safety and is almost like another linebacker on the field. Dropping him into coverage and playing with his back to the ball is not his strength.

137) Jimmy Bayes-Immokalee-WR-6’4-200-(Committed to USF):Bayes is another two way standout that could end up on either side of the football in college. While he plays receiver his top end speed is more suited to playing linebacker or possibly growing into a defensive end.

138) Alex Thomas-Chaminade-CB-6’1-180-(Committed to Cincinnati): We watched Thomas play 2-3 times this past season. Each and every time he was one of the best players on the field. He plays receiver and cornerback and makes an impact when on the field. He has the size, speed and length to be a very good cornerback in college.

139) Ezra Saffold-Dwyer-WR-5’7-165: If not for his lack of size, Ezra would have a ton of offers. He is explosive with the football in his hands. He also has great body control. If he gets his hands on the football you can bet Ezra will come down with it. He does a good job of catching the football away from his body.

140) Nico Firios-Lyman-LB-6’1-215-(Committed to Kentucky): Nico is a pure MIKE backer. He has good instincts and does a good job of recognizing what the opposition is trying to do. He is a physical backer that does not mind playing close to the line of scrimmage and making plays. He does a good job of reading plays and making a tackle. He does a good job of scrapping off of lineman and not getting blocked.

141) Randy Ramsey-Dillard-Ath.-6’2-215: Ramsey may be too low on this list. He has played cornerback, safety, linebacker and defensive end. He gives you a guy who can come off the edge and rush the passer. He can drop into coverage and play the pass. You can line him straight up on a receiver and he will shut them down.

142) Mazzi Wilkins-Tampa Plant-DB-6’0-175-(Committed to USF): Wilkins lacks the ideal top end speed to be an elite cornerback. If he was a step or two quicker Wilkins would be rated much higher. He is able to make plays on the pass but you won’t see him pick off many passes. He makes up for his lack of speed by understanding where the football is going before the snap of the football. This allows him to react quicker and on film he looks faster than his 4o time would suggest.

143) Nick Nataro-Estero-TE-6’3-225-(Committed to USF):Here is a kid who if he was a couple of inches taller would be a much higher rated tight end. He is going to be used more as an h-back or fullback in college. He has good hands and does not go down on first contact. He is a tight end that you will flex out and try and get one on one with a small defensive back or slow linebacker.

144) Antwan Cordy-South Dade-CB-5’8-175: Cordy is a kid who most anyone would cheer for. If there was a pound for pound toughest player award, Cordy would win it. He plays hard all the time and if you watch him enough you will favor him over much more physically gifted players. While he lacks size, Cordy plays the game all out and will give you everything he has on every down.

145) Dennis Turner-Dillard-Ath.-5’11-180:Turner committed early to University of Miami before anyone really knew about him. He plays receiver but some schools like him as a defensive back. Turn on any game and Turner makes plays all the time. He has good speed and can stretch the field when asked to.

146) Jake Stickler-Manatee-OG-6’4-270: (Committed to Georgia Tech): Sticker is heading to Georgia Tech. He is the ideal lineman for the Yellow Jackets. He actually gives them a guy who is still athletic but with more size. He also comes from a program that does a very good job of coaching up their lineman. He will understand some of the blocking concepts Georgia Tech teaches their lineman. When you watch him play one thing you notice is his mean streak that Stickler plays with.

147) Andrew Dirocco-University Shchool-K-6’1-190-(Committed to Tulane): When it comes to strong legs not many have a better one than Andrew. He can kick the ball out of the end-zone on kickoffs. His range is beyond 50 yards.

148) Michael Johnson-Chapagnat-DB-6’1-190-(Committed to Louisville): Johnson is one of your typical Dade County athletes. He has size, speed and the ability to make plays when on the field. He missed sometime this fall or Johnson could have seen more action in his recruitment. He can play cornerback or safety and have an impact at the next level.

149) Darrian Josey-Boynton Beach-WR-6’0-180: If Josey plays in North Florida, he probably has offers from every school in the Southeast. Instead he has been overlooked. He has top end speed and his size should draw some interest from college coaches. He can play receiver but we project him as a cornerback.

150) Maurice Hall-St Pete Gibbs-WR-6’1-185-(Committed to UCF):Hall is a prospect that has had to overcome a ton of hardships to get where he is now. He is a hard working kid who will do what is asked of him. While he lacks great top end speed, Hall plays pretty quick. He is a raw prospect but the physical traits are there for him to be very good at the next level.
