Post NSD Top 150 Florida

1) Derwin James-Haines City-DB-6’2-190-(Enrolled at Florida State)-There have been some great safety prospects over the past decade to come from the Sunshine State. One of the premier safeties was Matt Elam. What is crazy is that James may be even more physically gifted then the former University of Florida Star. James has great coverage skills and is the type of safety you can bring down into the box and play the run.

2) Martez Ivey-Apopka-OT-6’6-275-(Committed to University of Florida)-Ivey has been on the recruiting scene since he started in the state title game his sophomore season. One thing you can’t teach is size (6’6-275) and athletic ability. He is a true left tackle. His size and length allow him to dominate the opposition in high school. He is a very solid run blocker but try getting around him rushing the passer.

3) Kevin Toliver-Trinity Christian-CB-6’2-180-(Committed to LSU)-Toliver has size and speed. He is one of the most complete players at cornerback to come out of Florida in the past ten years. His length and athletic ability allows him to do things most other cornerbacks can’t even dream of doing. You could argue that he is the best prospect in the Sun-Shine State

4) Calvin Ridley-Monarch-WR-6’2-170-(Committed to Alabama)-When you watch Ridley play there are not many other receivers who are as smooth as him. He just glides on the football field. He has very good hands and runs solid routes. He has the type of speed and quickness to stretch the field. Ridley would also make a great defensive back if he wanted to play on defense.

5) CeCe Jefferson-Baker County-DE-6’3-240-(Committed to University of Florida)-We had the opportunity to watch Jefferson play live last year. He was very impressive as Jefferson is able to put pressure on opposing quarterbacks. He is also athletic enough to drop back into coverage and play a tight end or receiver. We expect him to play DE or OLB in a 3-4.

6) Byron Cowart-Armwood-DE-6’4-225-(Committed to University of Auburn)-Physically there are not many better looking prospects. He has great size and athletic ability. Here is a kid who could play tight end, defensive end or linebacker. We would like to see him be a little more consistent on the football field. For all of his athletic ability there are times that Cowart should dominate and does not do so.

7) Tavares McFadden-American Heritage Plantation-CB-6’2-180-(Committed to Florida State)-McFadden gives you a defensive back with size (6’2) and speed. He is a long, athletic cornerback that handles the bigger and more physical receivers that you see all over college football these days. He can also help out in run support. McFadden has good cover skills and is not stiff for a bigger cornerback.

8) Jordan Scarlett-Saint Thomas-RB-5’11-210-(Committed to Florida)-Scarlett is a prospect we have been on since his sophomore season at University School. He had his coming out party against American Heritage Delray where Scarlett help lead University School to a state title. He runs hard and once in the open field there are not many defenders who will catch him from behind. We feel that Scarlett is one of the premier backs not only in Florida but the nation.

9) Deon Cain-Tampa Bay Tech-Ath-6’3-180-(Committed to Clemson)-Cain is a prospect that has a ton of upside. He has good size and Cain can run. He is very fluid for a bigger receiver. What we like is his ability goes up and high points the football. He is a good athlete that could play on either side of the football.

10) George Campbell-East Lake-Ath.-6’4-200-(Enrolled at Florida State)-Campbell is physically one of the more impressive athletes in Florida. He has great size and speed. He moves extremely well for a bigger receiver. We would like to see more consistency in his game. We could easily see him be a star defensive back or linebacker in college.

11) Jacques Patrick-Timber Creek-RB-6’2-220-(Enrolled at Florida State)-Patrick has been a star since his freshman season. Patrick has great size and speed. He has the ability to run away from defensive backs. When you take his size and speed and put it together there are not many guys who are more talented them him. If he wanted to, Patrick could be a star on defense as well.

12) Abdul Bello-Monte Verde Academy-OT-6’6-290-(Committed to Florida State)-Bello is big and athletic. While not as polished as Ivey, Bello may have just as much upside. He runs like a skill position athlete. When you watch him move there is no question that this kid has the physical attributes to be a star tackle in college. He still needs to work on his athletic ability and overall strength.

13) Mark Walton-Booker T. Washington-RB-5’11-180-(Committed to Miami)-Walton is back that you watch him play and the game comes easy to him. He does not always look like he is moving that fast but you look down and he picks up 9-10 yards. He has good but not great speed. He does give you a pretty good receiver out of the backfield. Look for Walton to be an every down back in college.

14) Devante Phillips-Miami Central-WR-6’1-200-(Enrolled at Florida State) If we were going to compare Phillips to a receiver who starred in high school it would be Dwayne Bowe. Phillips just physically manhandles the opposition. He is a very physical receiver that has enough speed and quickness to get behind any secondary Phillips faces. He also has pretty good hands and is tough to tackle on crossing routes. He is one of the more complete receivers in this year’s class.

15) Torrance Gibson-American Heritage Plantation-Ath.-6’3-175-(Committed to Ohio State)-If Gibson played receiver, he would be one of the top five players in Florida. Athletic wise and what Gibson could do as a receiver are off the charts. As a quarterback, he needs to be in the right system to fit his skills. With his commitment to Ohio State there is not a better fit for Gibson and an offensive scheme.

16) Dexter Williams-West Orange-RB-5’11-180-(Committed to Notre Dame)-Williams may be one of the more underrated backs in Florida this year. He is a very good athlete and it would not surprise us to see him play on either side of the football in college. He is an explosive athlete that needs to be accounted for every-time Williams is on the field.

17) Ray Ray McCloud-Sickles-RB/WR-5’11-185-(Committed to Clemson)-When it comes to explosive there are not many other players in Florida that can do what McCloud can on a football field. He is dangerous every-time McCloud touches the football. He should make an immediate impact on special teams in college.

18) Deondre Francois-IMG Academy-QB-6’0-190-(Committed to Florida State)-Francois has a big time arm. His biggest issue is consistency throwing the football. He has continued to improve his mechanics as a coach Weinke has worked on that part of his game. He is going to have to learn to take some snaps from center. He has played mainly in the gun. He can make every throw asked of him. We would just like to see him give his receivers a chance to catch the football. Consistency is going to be key with his game at the next level.

19) D’Anfernee McGriff-Leon High School-Ath.-6’2-225-(Committed to Florida)-McGriff is a big athlete. He has played quarterback but it would not surprise us to see him line up as a running back tight end, receiver, or even a linebacker or defensive end in college. His versatility makes him one of the better all-around prospects in Florida this year.

20) Shawn Burgess Becker-Monarch-DB-6’2-190-(Committed to Alabama)-Burgess can play receiver or safety in college. He has pretty good speed and quickness no matter what side of the football Becker plays on. He is a play maker on both sides of the football.

21) Jaquan Johnson-Miami Killian-DB-6’0-180-(Committed to Miami)-Go to any Killian game and you can bet that Johnson is making a big play. He has a knack for making the big plays. Whether on special teams and blocking a kick or returning it. Whether he is on defense making a key interception to change the momentum in a game. Johnson is a play maker.

22) Lamar Jackson-Boynton Beach-QB/Ath.-6’2-190-(Committed to Louisville)-Jackson is a big time play maker. Get him the football and there is no question that something good can happen. He is a threat to score from anywhere on the field. While Jackson plays quarterback it would not shock us to see him play receiver or defensive back in college. He is a guy you recruit and worry about where to play him once on campus.

23) Tevon Coney-Palm Beach Gardens-LB-6’0-220-(Committed to Notre Dame)-Coney has always been considered one of the top linebackers in Florida. He gives you both size and speed at the position. He can make plays behind the line of scrimmage and does well moving up the field. He also is good enough in coverage to not be a liability.

24) Ty Cole-Miramar-CB-5’11-175-(Committed to West Virginia)-Cole is one of the better pure cover cornerbacks in Florida. Cole has the ability to turn and run with any receiver he goes against. He is very good in press coverage. Cole does a very good job of getting inside position on a receiver.

25) Ryan Davis-Lakewood-WR-5’10-175-(Committed to Auburn)-Davis has been on the radar since his freshman season at Northeast High School. He can play anywhere on the field. You can line him up at quarterback and run the wild cat. You can line him up at receiver or running back. We would not be surprised to see him even play cornerback in college. He is a very good athlete that you just want to get him on the field and allow him to make plays.

26) Jason Strowbridge-Deerfield Beach High-DE-6’4-240-(Committed to Kentucky)-Strowbridge has been one of the top defensive ends in Florida the past two seasons. It would not surprise us to see him move inside to tackle in college.

27) Timothy Irvin-Westminster Christian-RB/DB-5’9-190-(Committed to Auburn)-Irvin is one of those guys that happen to be a very good football player. He is not the biggest or fastest prospect on the board but turn on any game and Irvin makes plays. He is the type of player that any coach would like to have. He can play running back, receiver or defensive back in college.

28) Marques Ford-Gibsonton East Bay-DE-6’4-229-(Committed to Rutgers)-A dynamic prospect off the edge and a player that values his academics as much as his on-field performance. A very underrated and undervalued prospect in this recruiting cycle.

29) Ronnie Harrison-North Florida Christian-DB-6’3-205-(Committed to Alabama)-A long, athletic athlete that surprisingly doesn’t get a lot of publicity despite a high profile commitment to Alabama. Harrison will likely emerge as one of the Crimson Tide’s next great players in the secondary.

30)Jalen Merrick-New Smyrna Beach-OG-6’3-332-(Enrolled at Arkansas)-Merrick is a classic road-grating linemen that thrives in run blocking and will wear down defensive linemen in the second half. He’s a perfect fit for the run-based power offense in Arkansas.

31) Charles Perry-Royal Palm Beach-RB/LB-6’2-200-(Committed to Miami)-Perry is one of the most underrated prospects in Florida this year. It would not surprise us to see him end up the number one linebacker in this class once his college career is over with. He reminds us of John Beason who was also under the radar. Like Beason, Perry plays running back and linebacker in high school.

32) Chandler Cox-Apopka-RB/LB-6’2-210-(Enrolled at Auburn)-Cox can play multiple positions in college. He can play fullback, running back, linebacker or possibly even safety in college. He is a tough, hardnosed football player that you will do whatever a coach asked of him. He has good hands and can be used as a pass catcher out of the backfield.

33) Shamar Kilby Lane-Hallandale-LB-6’2-215-(Committed to Florida State)-Lane has the size and length to be a very good linebacker in college. He has the frame to get up to 240 pounds in college. Lane can knock a ball carrier into next week. He should make an instant impact on special teams in college. The question with Lane is his ability to cover down the field and drop into coverage.

34) Sheldrick Redwine-Miami Killian-6’1-183-(Committed to Miami)-A late-rising prospect in the Class of 2015 that had a strong late recruitment after coaches got to see his plus-level cover skills. He’s a long, athlete that reminds me a lot of Xavier Rhodes.

35) William Sweet-First Coast-OT-6’7-270-(Committed to North Carolina)-Sweet is one of the best looking offensive tackle prospects in the state. He has great size, length and his frame will easily allow him to carry 315-320 pounds. He is a raw prospect but the upside is very evident when you watch him play. He needs to continue working on his pass pro. He is a solid run blocker. His overall game has really improved since last season.

36) Rueben Jones-Lakeland Lake Gibson-DE-6’3-228-(Committed to Michigan)-A classic pass rusher that can get it done on the edge or standing up at the outside linebacker. Has the reputation of being a hard worker.

37) Tyree St. Louis-IMG Academy-OL-6-5-300-(Committed to Miami)- Louis has shown great improvements over the past three years in his handwork and physical composition. He’s always been extremely aggressive and not one to shy away from the physical play.

38) Jordan Griffin-Seffner Armwood-LB-6’0-215-(Committed to Vanderbilt)-Griffin is a tackling machine in the middle of the field and gives everything he’s got every time he steps on the field. He might not be the biggest but he’s a top-level playmaker.

39) Javon Durante-Miami Norland-WR/CB-6’0-175-(Committed to West Virginia)-Javon is a very good athlete who could excel on either side of the football. He is tailor made to play cornerback in college. He has good size and length. With his speed and quickness there is no question that Durante to could become a top level cornerback.

40) Jeffrey Holland-Trinity Christian-LB-DE-6’2-230-(Committed to Auburn)-Holland is a big athlete. You can play him at tight end-h-back or linebacker or defensive end. The question with Holland in college is where will he play? He has yet to find one position and end up being a star.

41)Devonaire Clarington-Miami Booker T. Washington-TE/DE-6’5-220-(Committed to Texas)-Clarington would like to play tight end in college. His is projected best as a defensive end. If he decides to give it his all on the defensive side of the football he could end up one of the premier players at that position in Florida this year. He is very physically talented. It is up to him whether or not he wants to be a star in college or not.

42) Jamel Dean-Cocoa-DB-6’2-205-(Enrolled at Ohio State)-Cocoa as a great reputation of developing tough athletes and this guy is no exception. Dean has the tackling and hitting ability of a safety or a linebacker but his plus-level coverage skills could keep him at cornerback.

43) Jordan Cronkrite-Westminister-RB-5’11-210-(Committed to University of Florida)-Cronkrite can play running back, defensive back or linebacker in college. His versatility makes him a player that you have to like. He is a good kid and will do what you ask of him. He is going to work hard on and off the field and for that reason alone we see him being successful in college.

44) Garrett Williams-First Academy-TE-6’4-220-(Committed to Clemson)-Williams is one of the top tight end prospects in Florida this year. He has good hands and runs solid routes. He lacks the great top end speed and is more of a possession receiver. He is not the type of tight end that is going to stretch the middle of the field and break off long scores. He also needs to improve as a blocking tight end.

45) Davante Davis-Miami Booker T. Washington-DB-6-1-180-(Committed to Texas)-Another prospect that saw his stock rise considerably in the postseason. Plus-level cover skills and ball skills thanks to time at receiver put Davis a cut above most DB prospects.

46) Auden Tate-Wharton-WR-6’4-200-(Committed to Florida State)-Tate is one of the bigger receivers in Florida. Tate gives your quarterback a big target. He may not be the fastest receivers this year but his size allows him to get separation from defensive backs. His ability to go up and get the football also causes mismatches for opposing defensive backs. He is going to be a threat in the red-zone and on third down when your team needs to move the chains.

47) Tristan Payton-Trinity Christian-WR-6’1-190-(Committed to UCF)-One receiver that should not be overlooked is Peyton. He is a physical receiver. You can run him on crossing routes and he is tough to cover in man coverage. He can beat a defense down the field but his strength is beating you on the shorter routes. He has good hands. He also is going to be a very good blocking receiver.

48) Dwayne Lawson-Hillsborough-QB/Ath.-6’6-200-(Committed to Virginia Tech)-Lawson reminds me of Cornelius Ingram who played quarterback in high school but ended up as a tight end in college. He is a very good athlete. He has a good arm and can make most of the throws asked of him. What Lawson needs to work on is his mechanics and consistency throwing the football. The physical skills are there for him to be very good.

49) Christian Pellage-Nature Coast-OT-6’7-260-(Committed to South Carolina) – Pellage is a prospect we first spotted at our combine his sophomore season. He was lined up at defensive end but it was tackle we projected him at. Two years later he was one of the top tackles in Florida. He is a big, athletic tackle who has very good upside. He still needs to fill his frame out but that is expected once in a college weight room.

50) Richard McIntosh-Cardinal Gibbons-DE/DT-6’4-265-(Committed to Miami)- You turn on his junior film and then watch this past season and there are not many players who improved more. He became a very active player and at times dominated games. He can play inside in a 4-3 or outside in a 3-4. His ability to play in different defensive schemes is what we like most about Richard. He can help out against the run or push the pocket back and get pressure on the quarterback.

51) Jake Fruhmorgen-Tampa Plant-OT-6’4-265-(Enrolled at Clemson)-Plant has had a ton of good offensive lineman come out of their program. Jake may end up the very best one. He can play tackle but we expect him to possibly move inside to guard. He is a big kid who can move. When you have both size and athletic ability there is no question you will take a lineman like that. He needs to add weight but with a red-shirt season Jake should end up a starter at Clemson.

52) Cecil Cherry-Frostproof-LB-6’0-225-(Committed to Texas)-Cherry is an old school MIKE. He reminds us of Jeff Luc who just had a great senior season at University of Cincinnati. Cherry is a leader on the field. He demands respect from not only his own teammates but the opposition as well. He plays with a bit of a mean streak. His strength is playing downhill.

53) Ryan Pulley-Island Coast-DB-6’1-190-(Committed to Arkansas)-Pulley is a prospect we may look back at and ask why did not more schools recruit him. Physically he has long arms and Pulley can run. He also believes in his ability. Pulley wants to be one of the very best players to step on the field. We would not be surprised to see him make an instant impact at Arkansas.

54) DeAndre Johnson-First Coast-QB-6’0-185-(Enrolled at Florida State) –Johnson is one of the all-time leading passers in Florida. He has a good but not great arm. What he does very well is anticipate where the receiver is going to be. He does a very good job of throwing a receiver open. There may not be a harder worker in the 2015 class then Johnson.

55) Shelton Johnson-Delray Atlantic-DE-6’3-225-(Committed to Michigan)-Johnson is a prospect who can end up as a defensive end or linebacker. He is a fast twitch defensive end that can get up the field and get pressure on the quarterback. He can make plays against the run or pass. Look for him to start off on special teams and then make an impact in year 2-3.

56) Antonio Callaway-Miami Booker T. Washington-WR-5’11-185-(Committed to University of Florida)-Callaway was having a very good season before tearing his ACL. He has the ability to stretch the field at the next level. He is a play maker and you have to get him the football in space.

57) Nyqwan Murray-Oakridge-WR-5’11-190-(Committed to Florida State)-Murray is part of a group of slot receivers which is pretty good this season. He does not have great size but Murray does not get outmuscled for the football. He does a very good job of setting the defensive back up and getting separation. He runs good routes and if Murray gets his hands on the ball it is his. He does not drop many passes.

58) Karan Higdon-Sarasota Riverview-RB-5’10-190-(Committed to Michigan)-Higdon was a back that got some early pub. He kind of fell of the radar his senior season. He does not have great speed or quickness. He does run hard and is not going to go down easily. He also can help out in the passing game.

59) Sherrod Pittman-First Coast-LB-6’2-215-(Committed to South Carolina) Pittman came on the scene after his freshman season. He was considered one of the top players in his class at that time. Three years later and he is now one of the most underrated linebackers in Florida. When we watched Pittman play this season he was all over the field. He is a guy who should do very well at the next level.

60) Marcus Walker-Lake Wales-S-6’1-183-(Committed to Kentucky)-Walker is a player who when you meet him is tough not to like. Walker is a good kid and on the field will give you everything he has. It would not surprise us to see him line up at cornerback early on. He is versatile enough to play either cornerback or safety in college. He has good coverage skills and does not mind coming up and playing the run.

61) James Allen-North Marion-RB-5’9-180-(Committed to Louisville)-This is the type of prospect that Louisville comes into the state of Florida and steals. He is a very good back. When you consider that Scarlett, Dexter Williams and Patrick are the top three backs, there is no doubt that Allen could end up the best of the rest by the time he is done. He runs hard and gives you a threat out of the backfield as a receiver.

62) Christian Philpott-North Florida Christian-WR-6’4-190-(Committed to Georgia Tech)-Georgia Tech has had some pretty good receivers over the years. When you consider they are a run orientated offense it is a bit crazy they are still able to sign these types of kids. We expect Christian to step right in and possibly play right away. He gives Tech a big receiver who will block for them and also be a weapon in the red-zone. Christian does not get spoken about much but he is a very good player.

63) Carlton Davis-Miami Norland-DB-6’0-190-(Committed to Auburn)-Davis was a defensive back that was committed early to Ohio State. Late in the process he flipped his commitment to Auburn. He can play safety or cornerback and that is what makes him a versatile prospect. We expect him to get some early playing time on special teams before possibly starting as a sophomore.

64) Ben Edwards-Jacksonville Trinity Christian-S-6’0-195-(Committed to Stanford)-One thing you will know about Edwards is he is a smart football player. He is the one that made all the calls in Trinity Christian secondary. He has the football smarts to overcome his lack of great speed. He is more quick then fast.

65) Kalif Jackson-Fletcher-WR-6’4-190-(Enrolled at Florida)-Jackson is an underrated receiver. He plays with good body control. If the football is thrown poorly he can still come up with it. He can adjust to the ball thrown over either shoulder. He lacks great top end speed but can still get open. His size should give smaller defensive backs problems. In the red-zone he can go up and get the football.

66) Devante Peete-Saint Thomas-WR-6’5-180-(Committed to Louisville)-Peete was a prospect that we first met as a freshman. He is a big receiver who gives his quarterback and nice target to throw to. One thing we can tell you is that over the past year there is not a receiver who improved both his hands and route running more than Peete. He is not a natural receiver but with the hard work Peete has put in has taken his game to another level. He should excel in Louisville offense.

67) Kendrick Norton-Trinity Christian-DT/OG-6’3-290-(Committed to University of Miami)-Norton plays both nose guard and offensive guard in high school. One thing you notice on film is his ability to move. He has quick feet for a big guy. If you play him at guard he can be used effectively as a pulling guard. If he plays on defense expect him to move to nose guard. He is athletic enough to play on defense and make an impact.

68) Tyler Jordan-Bishop Kenny-OT-6’4-270-(Committed to Florida)-Jordan is a kid who has both the feet and athletic ability to play tackle in college. He will need to add some weight but that should come with a red-shirt-He can also play guard if needed. He is not going to be one of the premier linemen in Florida but it would not surprise us to see him become a 2 year starter in college.

69) Scott Patchan-IMG Academy-DE-6’5-240-(Committed to Miami) – Before Patchan got hurt he was one of the better defensive end prospects in Florida. He has good size and comes off the ball pretty well. He will replace Anthony Chickillo at Miami. Patchan is probably a little better of an athlete. He will give you a better pass rusher and should be as effective against the run.

70) Chris Westry-Oak Leaf-CB-6’3-185-(Committed to Kentucky)-Westry gives you a big, long, athletic defensive back. Bigger cornerbacks are stiff that is not the case with Chris. He can turn and run with most receivers. Where he could have some struggles is on some crossing routes. He does have solid technique and if beaten on a play can still get back into coverage. He has enough length to knock balls away that other defensive backs cant.

71) Dominic Sheppard-Gulliver Prep-LB-6’2-220-(Committed to Virginia)-Sheppard plays linebacker but we expect him to line up at defensive end in college. He can give you a pass rusher off the edge. He is a productive player and does not need to come off the field. He can be effective as both an end and linebacker.

72) Geron Christian-Trinity Catholic-OT-(Committed to Louisville)-Our first look at Christian was at University of Miami Camp. He is a big kid who can move. He is not fully developed but the natural skill set is there. He also showed some toughness at the camp. While he plays tackle we see him more as a guard.

73) Juwan Taylor-Hallandale-LB-6’2-200-(Committed to Georgia)-While Kilby lane was considered Hallandale top linebacker prospect it is Taylor who may end up having a better career. Here is a linebacker that not only gives you a good athlete, he does not mind coming up and smacking you in the mouth. He is a linebacker that you will most likely not have to take off the field in passing downs.

74) Adrienne Talan-Flanagan-LB-6’2-200-(Committed to Nebraska)-The last time Nebraska got a linebacker this good from Florida he ended up an All-American. Talan is a very active and physical linebacker. He started off as a defensive back so that should tell you what type of coverage skills he has. He can be an every down linebacker in college. With more and more teams playing spread offenses this is the type of linebacker you need.

75) Kaleel Gaines-Frostproof-DB-6’0-179-(Committed to Michigan State)-Gaines is the type of prospect that goes to Michigan State and ends up an All-Conference type prospect. The state of Florida has a ton of these types of athletes which go out and state and have success. He is suited to playing safety in the Big 10. He can come up and play the run. He also can drop into coverage when you need him to.

76) Calvin Brewton-Miami Central-DB-6’0-170-(Enrolled at Florida State)-Brewton is a versatile enough athlete to play cornerback or safety in college. He has been a starter at the Varsity level since his sophomore season and Columbus.

77) Andrew Ivie-Pasco-DT-6’3-260-(Committed to University of Florida)-Ivey is a kid who could end up playing defensive end or tackle in college. He is only 260 but we could see him easily putting on another 20-25 pounds. He has the frame to get much bigger and stronger. You play him inside; Ivie will give you a lineman that has some quickness to his game.

78) Javarius Davis-Ed White-Ath.-5’10-(Committed to Auburn)-Davis plays running back but we expect him to play defensive back in college. He has good speed. He also has the type of quickness and suddenness to play defensive back. He can put his foot in the ground a change direction without a problem.

79) John Burt-Tallahassee Lincoln-WR-6’3-180-(Committed to Texas)-When Burt was a sophomore he had a kickoff return for a touchdown in the state title game. He was considered the next great player out of Lincoln high school. Since then his recruitment has been quiet. He is a very good receiver that has come out in a year that is loaded with top flight talent at the position.

80) Kendrell McFadden-Miramar-DB-6’2-190-(Uncommitted)-McFadden is another player who stock was high as a sophomore. Heading into his junior season his stock dropped. He plays safety but some team may try him out at cornerback. He is a talented athlete but it would not surprise us to see him end up at a junior college.

81) Desmond Cain-American Heritage Delray-Ath.5’11-180-(Committed to Illinois)-Cain has been a star on his team for three years. He can play running back, receiver or defensive back. Get him on the field and worry about later where you will play Cain. We like him as a defensive back. Some may want him to have the ball in his hands.

82) Hjalte Froholdt-IMG Academy-DT-6’5-290-(Committed to Arkansas)-The Razorbacks came into Florida and landed one of the best defensive lineman. He gives you a guy with size and can move.

83) Rashard Causey-Saint Thomas-DB-6’0-180-(Committed to UCF) –Causey is a cornerback that gives you some size. If you want a bigger corner, Causey allows you to play against other teams bigger receivers. He is not going to back down from a challenge. He needs to continue working on his technique as Causey has a tendency to be over aggressive. In college this could get him in trouble.

84) Bowman Archibald-Pasco-TE-6’5-244-(Committed to Wake Forest)- Committed early to Miami, Bowman is a prospect that should have a productive college career. He is a solid blocker. He can also help out in the passing game. He is a tough kid that won’t back down from a challenge.

85) James Gardner-Fort Lauderdale-WR-6’4-190-(Committed to Miami of Ohio)-Gardner is a prospect that flew under the radar. He gives you good size. He is not easy for most defensive backs to cover. He has good ball skills and Gardner can make the most difficult catch look routine. He is a raw prospect but it would not surprise us to see him have a great college career.

86) Jake Bargas-St Andrews.-TE/DE-6’4-225-(Committed to North Carolina)-At the Miami Camp two years ago Bargas was the best tight end in attendance. He does not have the ideal size to play tight end. He may be better suited to playing H-Back. It would not surprise us to see him play on defense in college.

87) Shaquery Wilson-Coral Gables-WR/DB-6’1-190-(Committed to Georgia)-He played receiver in high school but Wilson lack of consistency catching the football is going to force him over to defense. He gives you a cornerback with both the size and speed you look for. We expect him to transition well and are a very good defensive player in college.

88) Ryan Fines-IMG Academy-DT-6’4-299-(Committed to Miami)-Fines played most of his high school career at Manatee Sr. High. He is a tough, hard-nosed kid who gives you everything he has. He will not stop till the whistle blows. He is a high energy guy who will fight on every down. He should be a productive backup with the potential to start down the road.

89) Derrick Graham-OLB-Wauchula Hardee-LB-6’4-200-(Committed to Arkansas)-At 6’4, 200 pounds Graham is as good looking of a linebacker prospect as you will see. He still needs to develop his body but that should come at the next level. He has the chance to end up one of the best linebackers in this class. He is one prospect that we felt has been overlooked all season long.

90) Rodrick Archer-South Plantation-DB-6’2-190-(Committed to FAU)-When you go and watch South Plantation play it is Archer that catches your eye. He is one of the more impressive looking defensive backs you will see. If he adds some weight we would not be surprised to see him end up at linebacker in college. With his ability to cover a tight end or receiver and also come up and play the run, Archer could end up a very good linebacker. He is not afraid of contact so it would not surprise us to see the move.

91) AJ Westbrook-Mainland-DB-6’0-180-(Committed to Florida State)-Westbrook was a prospect that Florida State got on early. He could end up playing cornerback or safety. AJ is a bit of a project but in a couple of years could end up a solid starter.

92) Antonyo Sotolongo-Gulliver Prep-DB-(Committed to Bowling Green) Sotolongo is one of the more underrated players in Florida. Antonyo is a prospect that will leave everything he has on the football field. He is a good athlete who can drop back into coverage and not be a liability. He can also come up and play the run. We expect him to go up to bowling green and play as a freshman.

93) Damon Arnette-Saint Thomas Aquinas-DB-6’2-180-(Committed to Ohio State)-Arnette is a guy who has not even come close to living up to his potential. He lacks great top end speed but hiss size and length should help him slow down faster receivers. He has the type of length you want in a defensive back. He is raw but the potential is there for Arnette.

94) Tyler Gauthier-Venice-6’5-300-(Committed to Miami)-We first saw Gauthier at University of Miami Summer Camp. He is a big, wide body lineman. He is also tough as nails. He will come off the ball and try and knock you on your back. He is a lineman that does not stop till the whistle is blown. We like him more as a guard/center prospect at the next level.

95) Shawn Curtis-Reagan-6’3-240-DE/TE-(Committed to Mississippi)-Curtis plays some tight end and defensive end. It would not surprise us to see him play linebacker in college. He comes from a program that has not produced a ton of college prospects. He is by far the best player to ever come from his school.

96) Derrick Baity-Tampa Plant-6’2-190-DB-(Committed to Kentucky)-Another prospect who shined at University of Miami Summer Camp. Most felt he would leave their camp with an offer. He gives you a guy with both size and length. Receivers with some speed and quickness could give him issues but if he wins the battle at the line of scrimmage it won’t matter. He is a physical defensive back that likes to get his hands on you.

97) Rashad Fenton-Carol City-5’11-190-(Committed to South Carolina)-He may have been the best cornerback in Dade County last year. Turn on any game and Fenton was making big plays. Get him the ball on special teams and get out of the way. His biggest issue early on was Fenton was not real big. He put on the necessary weight and his stock really rose. He has good size now and Fenton can run.

98) Mirko Jurkocvic-IMG Academy-6’5-270-(Committed to Ohio State)-Another out of state lineman that played for IMG. He was committed to Nebraska before pulling the trigger for Ohio State. He has good height (6’5) but lacks great weight (275). He can play multiple positions on the offensive line.

99)Jalen Julius-West Orange-Ath-5’11-175-(Committed to Mississippi)-Julius can play receiver or defensive back. Turn on his film and the kid just makes plays. He is much underrated and it would not surprise us to see him play better then guys rank ahead of him on this list.

100) Chris Hart-Saint Thomas Aquinas-DE/OLB-6’3-220 –(Committed to Utah)-Hart is a player that just makes plays. He is used as a stand-up rush end in high school but is probably going to be projected as an outside linebacker at the next level.

101) Brandon Wilson-West Orange-DE-6’4-230-(Committed to Indiana)-Wilson gives you a guy who can put his hand in the ground and play defensive end or possibly play linebacker. He is another player who has been under the radar all season. He has the frame to add enough weight to get up to 250 pounds. He is going to be able to make an impact right away as a pass rusher on third down.

102) Luke Ancrum-Sebring-DE-6’4-225-(Committed to Florida)-Turn on his film and Luke makes plays. He is a very active player who can rush the passer or stuff the run. He will need time to develop but it would not surprise us to see him end up a very good player at the next level. He is a prospect to keep an eye on and see how he develops in college.

103) Marlon Gonzalez-Cape Coral-DE-6’4-240-(Committed to South Florida)- Marlon was a prospect as a sophomore that had a chance to become one of the premier linemen in Florida. He had a very good sophomore season. Problem is he moved over to Cape Coral and fell of the map. He goes to South Florida where they are in a need for defensive lineman. He could end up playing defensive end or developing into a defensive tackle. Look for him to take a red-shirt and put on some weight.

104) Emonee Spence Flanagan-WR-6’2-175-(Committed to Louisville)-When Flanagan would need a big play Spence would come through. He showed me some improved toughness his senior year. He gives you a guy that had good size. He also displays a nice blend of speed and quickness. He does need to continue to get stronger.

105) Von Davis-Mount Dora-DB-5’10-160-(Committed to Marshall)-Davis is a kid we saw two years ago at UCF 7 on 7. He was one of the more impressive looking prospects at the time. He has good size and decent speed. What he lacks is the great physical traits for a cornerback. That is the type of length you want to see in a defensive back.

106) Tavares Martin-Dwyer-WR-6’0-170-(Uncommitted)-As a sophomore Martin was one of the hot topics in recruiting. He got into some trouble off the field that hurt his recruitment. He went from one of the most sought after prospects to dropping off the map. If he can get his life together there is no question that Martin could end up a very good player down the road. He has the type of speed and quickness to change the momentum of a game on one catch.

107) Tavon Cox-Haines City-LB-6’3-200-(Committed to Utah)-Another very talented player heading out west. Cox is going to make an impact right away on special teams. He is one of the better looking players you will see when you meet him. He is athletic enough to play in the secondary and physical enough to play close to the line of scrimmage.

108) Adrian Falconer-Leesburg-WR-6’1-190-(Committed to Iowa)-Iowa does not come to Florida often for talent but they did get a good one in Adrian. He gives them a physical receiver who can line up anywhere on the field and make plays. He has very deceptive speed. He is a guy that a defense must account for. He runs solid routes and has good hands. He does a good job of high pointing the football.

109) Robert Knowles-Miami Edison-DB-6’0-175-(Committed to Miami)-Watch Edison play this year and you noticed the play of Knowles. He is a kid that has the size and length you want at defensive back. He could play cornerback but we see him more as a safety. He should help Miami out with their secondary. He gives you a guy who has the range to play free safety. He can line up on the hash and cover his half of the field.

110) Deandre Baker-Miami Northwestern-CB-5-10-175-(Committed to Georgia)-Baker gives you a guy with SPEED. One thing he does very well is run. He is not the biggest cornerback. He is also older than most of the players in his class. So for that reason alone you have to expect his growth potential to be near its max.

111) Shi’Kim Coward-Niceville-RB-5’8-170-(Uncommitted) He tore his ACL his junior season so that really hurt his stock this year. He is a guy that has both speed and quickness. He is a one cut back and goes. He can make an impact at running back, receiver or even as a kick returner. If he was healthy as a junior he would have most likely been a top 100 prospect.

112) Fred Johnson-Royal Palm Sr. High-OT-6’6-300-(Committed to University of Florida)-Johnson reminds us of Orlando Franklin. Like with Franklin, Johnson was an unknown lineman heading into his senior season. If not for an injured ankle this past spring, Johnson would have drawn much more interest. He is a big guy that moves pretty well. Give him a couple of years to develop and watch out for him.

113) Ronnie Hoggins-Monarch-CB-5’8-165-(Committed to USF)-All you need to know is Hoggins led his team in interceptions this past season. He has a great nose for the football. While he is not real big, don’t tell Hoggins that. He is tough as they come. He is also not afraid to come up and play the run.

114) Anthony Jones-Miami Central-Ath.-5’10-175-(Committed to FIU)-One of the biggest reasons why Central won the state title this year was Jones play. He is a play maker in every way. It was his play making ability that helped them overcome a deficit against Hallandale in the playoffs. He is a threat to go the distance anytime on the field. He is the best play maker FIU has had since TY Hilton.

115) TJ Simmons-Lakeland Christian-Ath.-6’1-200-(Committed to Temple)-When it comes with size and speed there is not many better then Simmons in Florida. While most of his speed is in straight line form, don’t let him get into the open. Simmons is a prospect that has some nice upside. He is also a good kid.

116) Victor Alexander-Trinity Christian-5’10-220 (Committed to Georgia Tech)-Alexander is an undersized linebacker. What he lacks up for in size, he more than up for in heart. He is the heart and soul of the Trinity Christian defense. When you turn on the film he is all over the field.

117) Mike Arnold-Winter Haven-OT-6’4-290-(Committed to Virginia Tech)-Arnold is another lineman that kind of flew under the radar. He has pretty good size. We would like to see him be a little more fluid. He is a little stiff from the knees down. He is not a great knee bender and that is a concern when playing tackle. He could move inside and be more effective as a guard. He is the type of player we could see having a very productive college career.

118) Jarius Adams-Dwyer-5’11-180-DB-(Committed to Rutgers)-He was a prospect we saw this spring and came away impressed. He has good length and Adams can turn and run. He is a fluid defensive back. He is not going to get broken down real easily. He can line up against a bigger receiver or a small guy in the slot and hold his own.

119) Brandon Boyce-Saint Thomas-DT-5’11-260-(Committed to Duke)-There may not be a better pure defensive lineman in high school last year. While he is undersized, Boyce is a play maker. He dominated the state title game. It would not surprise us to see him play middle linebacker or possibly even fullback in college. He is a guy you take and worry about where to play him once on a college campus.

20) Steven Claude-Champagnat-Ath.-6’1-180-(Committed to Wake Forest)-Claude has played both receiver and defensive back. The way he is built we expect him to be more of a defensive back in college. He runs well and with his size and length you have to believe defensive back is where Claude would excel in college.

121) Michael Howard-Clay Sr. High-OT-6’6-250-(Committed to Mississippi)-Howard reminds us of another Rebel Lineman, Robert Conyers. Like with Conyers, Howard is going to have to red-shirt and put some weight on. He weighs 250 but we see him as a 290-295 pound tackle down the road. He is a good athlete and that should help him handle the speed of the game at the next level.

122) Chris Barr-Trinity Christian-WR-5’11-190-(Committed to University of Utah)-Barr for his size is not a deep threat. He can get behind the secondary but he is better suited to catching the ball across the middle of the field. He can get in and out of his breaks well. We would like to see more consistency from his game.

123) Taj McGowan-Hallandale-RB-6’1-190-(Committed to UCF)-Taj is a back that UCF is hoping will be like Kevin Smith. Like with Smith, Taj is a bigger back but lacks great speed. He can ground and pound a defense and late in the 2nd half of games, Taj will break off some nice runs. He can also catch the ball out of the backfield.

124) Deontai Williams-Jacksonville Trinity Christian-S-6’0-175-(Committed to Ohio)-Williams had some nice early offers. He ended up signing with Ohio University. He could end up a star for the Bobcats. He is one of the best players they have signed under their current staff.

125) Evan Mallory –IMG Academy-OT-6’5-315-(Committed to Cincinnati)-When it comes to size there are not many big lineman in Florida. That is why when a kid like Mallory shows up there are going to be college coaches who give him a look. He is from out of state so it was easy to see why Mallory chose Cincinnati. He can play tackle but look for him to possibly play guard or center in college.

126) Sekai Lindsay-Palm Bay-RB-5’9-190-(Committed to UMASS)-Sekai had some big offers early on. Because of a coaching change to University of Pittsburgh, he was no longer in the cards. He is a back that you turn on his film and he is a physical runner for his size. He will break tackles and bust off long runs. He does not have the top end speed you would like for someone his size but once in the open field it is not often that Sekai is caught from behind.

127) Jonathan Crawford-Largo-S/DB-6’2-180-(Committed to Indiana)-Crawford is another defensive back that may end up playing linebacker for Indiana. He is impressive looking physically. If he red-shirts it will be interesting to see if Crawford ends up making the move forward.

128) Khali Lewis-Miramar-WR-6’0-180-(Committed to Cincinnati)-When you watched Miramar play it was Lewis who was one of their most consistent receivers. He has decent size and runs pretty well. He also has pretty good hands. He is going to an offense that should showcase his skills.

129) Kyle Henderson-Tampa Plant-DT-6’1-280-(Committed to Georgia Tech)-Henderson is a defensive lineman that comes out in a season which there are not many good players at his position in Florida. He is not real big and that is going to be the drawback for most D1 programs to look at him. He goes to Georgia Tech where he should fit right into the defensive scheme they run.

130) Reakown Jones-Mosley-LB-6’2-200-(Committed to Indiana)-Jones is probably one of the better players in the Panhandle this season. He plays safety but is better suited to adding weight and playing linebacker in college. He should have no problem putting on the necessary weight to play linebacker at the next level. He gives you a good athlete who can not only come up and play the run, but Jones will be effective in the pass game.

131) Michael Walker-Naples-Ath.-5’11-180-(Committed to Boston College)-Not only is Walker one of the better athletes in Southwest Florida, he may be the fastest. It would not surprise us to see him end up lining up on special teams next year. Walker is a player make and needs the ball in his hands. He has very good speed and quickness. He is also a very smart football player.

132) Jaylin Heyward-Godby-WR-5’9-170-(Uncommitted)-Howard is a big play waiting to happen. He is not the biggest player on the board but he makes up for it with his speed and quickness. He can change the game on one play. He is the type of guy you don’t want to give an inch because Heyward can go the distance. He is a prospect that can make an impact right away on special teams.

133) Billy Atterbury-Clearwater Central Catholic-6’4-290-(Committed to USF)-Billy comes from a smaller program. He is not the biggest or most physical lineman. He is a solid athlete and there is enough upside there to take a chance on him. He is going to have to red-shirt to get bigger and stronger to play at the next level. He is a solid run blocker and can also pass protect when needed.

134) Brendan Loftus-Godby-OT-6’6-290-(Committed to Miami)-Loftus is a guy who got some major looks early. He started to slip a little before the season before his stock started to rise again. He is a big kid (6’6-290). The question is can he can bigger and stronger in his lower body. He did play with a broken foot at the end of the season so that should tell you what type of toughness the kid has.

135) Bryan Jefferson-Leesburg-WR-6’0-180-(Committed to Boise State)-Jefferson is one of two pretty good receivers on his high school team. He does not bring the same size or speed as his teammate that is why Adrian was more heavily recruited. He is a nice possession receiver who once in a while can get behind a secondary.

136) Jamari Bozeman-Suncoast-DB-6’0-180-(Committed to Bowling Green)-Bozeman is a flat out football player. He is a kid that when you go and watch him play you will ask why he does not get more interest in him. He is a guy that can play cornerback or safety in college.

137) Kemar Downer-Palm Beach Central-DB-5’11-180-(Committed to FAU)-Downer is another prospect that got overlooked. He has good size and speed. He is the type of kid that no matter what side of the football he plays on Downer will make plays. Every-time we saw him play, Downer would make something happen. We project him as a defensive back and look for him to make an impact right away.

138) Wyatt Ray-Saint Thomas-DE-6’4-225-(Boston College)-Ray does not have any single talent that stands above the rest. What he gives you is a player who comes hard on every down. Ray will fight for what he can to make plays. He is a productive player and that usually means something when going to the next level. There are guys who have his same size and may be more athletic but don’t make any players. Look for him to be a very productive player at Boston College.

139) Doyle Grimes-South Dade-LB-6’1-190-(Committed to Marshall)-The first thing we noticed when watching Grimes play is he was all over the field. He is a very active player and once he finds the ball carrier watch out. He will knock the teeth out of you if your head is not looking straight. He is a very physical player and Grimes is a play maker. We expect him to possibly start out at safety. He has good enough cover skills to play back there.

140) Mitchell Wilcox-Tarpon Springs-TE-6’4-230-(Committed to USF)-With what the USF staffs wants to do with two tight ends, Wilcox is a nice get. He gives them a big target that can pick up the tough yards. He is not a guy that is going to stretch the field but he can move the chains. We also expect him to be productive in the red-zone. Wilcox is also an efficient blocker.

141) Riley Nicholson-Kissimmee Osceola-OLB-6’0-220-(Committed to N.C. State)-Riley is a tough, hard-nosed linebacker. He has very good instincts and seems to always be around the football. He is a guy that is going to play the run very well. His strength is not going to be dropping back into coverage and covering a receiver or back in space.

142) Therrell Gosier-Ely-WR/TE/DE-6’6-210-(Committed to Kentucky)-Gosier is an impressive looking athlete. He is a raw prospect but Gosier has the type of upside you want to see in a college prospect. He is versatile enough to line up on both sides of the football in college. He has the frame to get up to 230-240 pounds if not bigger in college.

143) Leeward Brown-Miramar-OG-6’4-300-(Committed to Tulane)-Brown is a massive human-being. He gives you a big, physical interior lineman. When you need to run the football it is Brown that you will run behind. He is not going to be a great pass protector and that is why we see him more as an interior lineman in college.

144) Jamarius Way-Glades Central-Ath.-6’4-190-(Uncommitted)-Way is a big, long, athletic prospect. He can play receiver, defensive back or possibly grow into a linebacker. While he is not a fully developed prospect the upside is there for him to be very good in college. He is a very good athlete who needs to turn into a good football player.

145) Larry Dunnon-Palm Beach Central-WR-TE-6’4-200-(Committed to Marshall)-Dunnon caught our eye over two years ago. The question with him is where will he play? He does not have great speed or quickness but Dunnon gets open. He has good hands. He is built more like linebacker then a receiver. It will be interesting to see if he ends up on defense.

146) James Pensyl-Land O Lakes-QB-6’6-200-(Uncommitted)-Pensyl was committed to Oregon State. There is no doubt in our mind he is a D1 prospect. He has great size, can make most of the throws asked of him and is mobile for a big guy. With so few quality D1 quarterbacks available it is shocking that he still does not have an offer.

147) Camrin Knight-Lincoln-TE-6’4-220-(Committed to Florida)-Knight is one of only a handful of D1 tight ends in Florida. He does not have any one trait that stands above the rest. What he will give you a tight end that can move the chains and possibly help in the red-zone.

148) Khalid McGee-Miami Northwestern-S-5’10-185-(Committed to South Florida)-McGee was part of a talented secondary this past season. He has above average size and pretty good speed. He is not a physical cornerback but he won’t back down from other receivers. He does need to continue to getting better.

149) Frank Battle-Belen Jesuit-WR-6’5-200-(Committed to UCONN)-Battle is a kid we have really liked for two years. He has size and that is something that can’t be taught. He is a big, physical receiver. In the red-zone he is tough to defend. He does not have great speed but his size allows him to get separation from smaller defensive backs. He could eventually end up as a tight end.

150) Chris Cunningham-Atlantic Coast-TE-6’3-220-(Committed to Virginia Tech)-While Cunningham plays tight end it would not surprise us to see Virginia Tech move him over the defensive side of the football. He looks and plays like a defensive prospect. He could end up moving over to defensive end or linebacker and having a very productive career for the Hokies.
