Florida -Post Spring Top 150 -Class of 2016

janarius robinson-panama bay-2016

After traveling all over the state of Florida this spring and through the summer ESS has come up with a top 150 list. The class of 2016 is deep at wide receiver and defensive back. Most years the state of Florida produces some of the premier running backs and offensive lineman. You will have to wait to next year if those are positions of need for your football team. This year the defensive end position has three premier prospects: Janarius Robinson (Panama Bay Sr. High), Nick Bosa (Saint Thomas Aquinas) and Shavar Manuel (IMG Academy). Wide Receiver will have over 70 prospects go Division 1 this year if not more. We will break down the top 150 list and give you insight on who will shine in 2015.

1) Janarius Robinson- Panama Bay-DE-6’5-260-(Committed to Florida State):  It is not often you see a prospect with Robinson size and speed. He can line up at receiver for Bay High School and dominate. He has all the physical attributes to become a super star defensive end in college.

2) Nick Bosa-Saint Thomas Aquinas-DE-6’4-255:  Some could argue that Bosa is the top player in the State of Florida. His brother is Joey Bosa who is an All-American Defensive end at Ohio State. Nick has great size, speed and quickness off the edge. He is just as effective stopping the run as putting pressure on the quarterback.

3) Isaac Nauta-IMG Academy-TE-6’4-250-(Committed to Florida State): Not often will you see a tight end prospect as talented as Nauta come through the state of Florida. He is a miss-match nightmare for opposing defenses. If you try and put a linebacker on him, Nauta will out run them. Forget about putting a defensive back on Nauta as his size will be too much to handle. He is one of the most complete tight ends in the nation.

4) Nate Craig Myers-Tampa Catholic-WR-6’2-205: We first saw him as an 8th grader at Sling and Shoot (USF Camp). Since then he has developed into one of the premier receivers in the nation. He has the size and speed that you look for in a big time receiver.

5) Rahshuan Smith-IMG Academy-LB-6’2-225-(Committed to Clemson): When you see Smith in person there are not many other players who are as impressive physically. He has the size and length to be a very good linebacker. He also has the speed to play on the outside. There is not a more complete linebacker in the state of Florida this season.

6) Sam Bruce-Saint Thomas-WR-5’8-175-(Committed to Miami): There may be bigger receivers in Florida. There may be guys with more upside. We do not feel there is a receiver in the state of Florida who does more on a football field than Bruce can. Bruce is an impact player every time he steps on the football field. Some will knock his size but watch him play in person and there is not a guy who can impact the game more.

7) Shavar Manuel-IMG Academy-DE-6’4-290-: Manuel is another player who has been on the radar for the past few seasons. He started out at Blake High School and has since moved onto IMG Academy. Shavar is one of the more versatile lineman in that he could end up as a defensive end or inside at tackle in college. His strength is stuffing the run.

8) Trayvon Mullen-Coconut Creek-CB-6’2-175: Mullen is the premier cornerback in the state of Florida this year. He gives you a cornerback with the rare combination of size and speed. You can put him on the biggest receiver and Mullen will hold his own. You can also line him up on a fast receiver and Mullen will lock them down. He is also not afraid to come up and help in run support.

9) Savion Smith-IMG Academy-DB-6’1-190-(Committed to LSU): Smith is another prospect we first saw two years ago at Sling and Shoot. He has some nastiness is his game. Smith will come up and smack you in the mouth. He is not afraid to be physical with receivers. Smith also is a very good in coverage. We could see him line up at cornerback but we project him more as a safety in college.

10) Jack Allison-Palmetto (Sarasota)-QB-6’5-180-(Committed to Miami): When it comes to arm strength there are not many better then Allison. He has a big time arm and can make every throw. He still has to develop into a more consistent passer but with his physical attributes you have to like Allison upside.

11) Chauncey Gardner-Cocoa-DB-5’11-190-(Committed to Florida): There is Mullen, Jackson and Gardner as the top 3 cornerbacks in Florida. It would not surprise us to see him have the best career. Gardner first caught our attention two years ago as he had a very good game against Booker T. Washington. He is a big, physical cornerback that can provide help against the pass or in run support.

12) Binjimen Victor-Coconut Creek-WR-6’4-180: Victor is a prospect we first saw two years ago. He has always had the physical attributes you look for. He has improved so much over the past years as a route runner. He also has very good hands. You put the ball up and Victor is most likely going to come down with it. With Victor, you are recruiting a receiver who has a ton of upside.

13) Keith Gavin-Wakulla-WR-6’3-220-(Committed to Florida State): Gavin has flown under the radar as the Wakulla star does not attend many events. He has great size and there is no question that Gavin can run. He is a physical nightmare for most defensive backs that you try and put on him. Gavin has the potential to be the top receiver in Florida this year.

14) Ahmmon Richards-Wellington-Ath.-6’3-170-(Committed to Miami): Richards is another prospect that does not attend many events. The gifted athlete can star as a receiver or cornerback in college. He is very smooth and there are not many who make it look easier when they step on the football field.

15) Jamel Cook-Miami Central-DB-6’4-180-(Committed to Florida State): Cook is a big, tall, rangy defensive back. He can play cornerback, safety or potentially grow into an outside linebacker. With his size and length there are not many more gifted players then Cook. He is very versatile and with more teams playing spread offenses guys like Cook become that much more valuable in college.

16) Felipe Franks-Wakulla-QB-6’6-205-(Committed to LSU): When you watch Franks play there is no questioning that the physical tools are there for him to be successful in college. He is a big, tall, strong arm quarterback. He is a raw prospect but the tools are there for him to one day be a first round pick. He can make every throw asked of him. He needs to work on his consistency throwing the football.

17) Deion Jackson-Hallandale-CB-6’1-170-(Committed to Miami): Jackson did not play last year. If he did there is no doubt that Jackson could have been rated the top cornerback prospect in the state of Florida. He is a big, physical corner that can match up against almost any receiver. He is physical enough to potentially end up at safety in college.

18) Shaquille Quarterman-LB-6’0-240-(Committed to Miami): With more and more teams at the high school and college level going to spread offenses, linebackers like Quarterman become tougher to find. He has the size to come up and play the run and the ability to drop into coverage and not be a liability in the passing game.

 19) Zach McCloud-Santaluces-LB-6’2-220-(Committed to Miami): Miami may have landed two of the best linebackers in Florida with Quarterman and McCloud. Go and watch Santlauces play or practice and he is one of the first players to stand out. He has the size and speed to play every down. With most linebacker these days you have to worry about having to take them off the field. That is not the case with McCloud as he is as versatile of a linebacker as you will see. He could end up playing all three linebacker spots in college.

20) Cedric Wood-Godby-DT-6’3-275-(Committed to Florida State): In years past there are always 1-2 defensive tackles in the state of Florida which ends up in the top 10. This year is not one of those years. Wood is a big body defensive tackle that has not even come close to his potential. He is very effective at stuffing the run. He is also quick enough off the ball to give you a pass rush up the middle. With a good senior season he could end up in the top 15.

21) Joseph Jackson-Gulliver Prep-DE-6’5-245-(Committed to Miami): Most years you don’t have Robinson, Manuel and Bosa to compete with. Jackson is as physically gifted of an athlete as you will see coming out of high school. He sometimes lines up at tight end so that should tell you what type of athlete he is. Jackson has not come close to reaching his potential. If he does you are looking at a potential NFL prospect down the road.

22) Baveon Johnson-Lake Gibson-6’3-320-(Committed to Florida State): Last season there was Martez Ivey and Abdul Bello who were top ten players in the state of Florida. This year Johnson is right outside the top 20. He is more of an interior lineman and they just don’t carry as high of a grade as tackles. Johnson is a big, physical lineman who can dominate the point of attack.

23) Keyshawn Young-Miami Senior-Ath-5’11-165: Young is a player that you go and watch live and he will take over a game. He is not a guy that you are going to judge on his size or speed. Go to any game and Young will do things that other players on this list can’t do. He is a play maker with the ball in his hands. Put him on defense and we would not be surprised to see him become a star in college

24) Tre Nixon-Viera-WR-6’1-170: Some have Nixon as one of the top 2-3 receivers in Florida this year. He is very smooth route runner and Nixon has the ability to get behind a secondary. He has developed nicely over the past two seasons. Off the field you get a prospect that carries over a 4.0 GPA. He is a high character kid who is most likely going to succeed at the next level.

25) Darnell Salomon-Miami Central-6’2-205: Talent wise Darnell is as good of a receiver as any in Florida this year. Talent is not the issue with Darnell. He is now on to his third program in high school. His biggest question marks come off the field. He has the size and speed to be a miss-match for most defensive backs. He has good hands and runs solid routes.

26) Tyler Gerald-IMG Academy-OT-6’5-300-(Committed to Ohio State): Gerald is an out of state lineman that came to IMG. He has good size and can move. We would not be surprised to see him line up at either tackle or guard in college. He is one of the better athletes who play offensive tackle this year.

27) Brian Burns-American Heritage Plantation-DE-6’5-220: Burns is in the mold of Jason Pierre Paul. He is very long and athletic. He has a good first burst off the ball and Burns can get pressure on the quarterback. His ability to get up the field quickly makes him a priority. He just needs to get into a college weight program and add weight.

28) Khalil Ladler-IMG Academy-DB-5’11-170: Ladler comes via Georgia. He is a very good defensive back. He is a player that is versatile enough to play multiple positions in your secondary. He has good coverage skills and Ladler is physical enough to come up and play the run.

29) Cavin Ridley-Deerfield Beach-WR-6’1-190: Ridley is a prospect we first saw as a freshman at Chaminade. He has nice size (6’1) and Ridley is strongly built. He is a guy that could end up playing in the secondary in college as well. While raw, the physical talent is there for him to have a nice college career.

30) Jordan Woods-Trinity Catholic-DE-6’3-240: Woods was a prospect that was high up on the recruiting board after finishing his sophomore season. He is a big, long, athletic end. He is at his best setting the edge and playing the run. He can get up the field and give you a pass rush.

31) Jacob Mathis-Berkeley Prep-TE-6’5-230: Most years Mathis is fighting for the top spot at tight end. He is a big, athletic tight end that can line up outside or on the line of scrimmage. He is going to give linebackers fits in college. His biggest issue right now is consistency catching the football.

32) Amir Rasul-Coral Gables-RB-6’0-180-(Committed to Miami): Rasul is one of the fastest players in the state of Florida. His speed allows him to go the distance anywhere on the field. Rasul also gives you a threat out of the backfield as a receiver. While more of a track athlete at this time, Rasul speed makes him a priority for most college coaches.

33) Elijah Stove-Niceville-WR-6’0-175-(Committed to Auburn): When you watch Stove play he stands out. He is a very good receiver who could also end up on defense in college. He plays in a part of Florida that gets overlooked. We do not expect him to be under the radar much longer.

34) Dionte Mullins-Gulliver Prep-Ath.-5’11-185-(Committed to Miami): Mullins reminds us of former Gulliver Prep Star Patrick Robinson. Like Robinson, Mullins excels on both sides of the football. While he is a very gifted receiver we see him more as a top flight cornerback.

35) Malik Barrow-IMG Academy-6’2-270-(Committed to Ohio State): Barrow comes out in a year that is not only talented with defensive ends but also deep. He is a guy that could play defensive end or possibly inside to tackle in college. It will be interesting to see how this gifted star develops at the next level.

36) Emmett Rice-Miami Norland-6’3-190-(Committed to Florida State): Rice is an athletic linebacker that can be moved around the field. His length and athletic ability makes him the ideal backer to play against the spread offenses. He has very good closing speed and Rice will finish plays when the opportunity arises.

37) TJ Chase-IMG Academy-WR-6’1-185-(Committed to Clemson): Chase is part of a receiver class that is very deep and talented in the sun-shine state. Most years he would be ranked much higher. He has good speed and quickness. Chase also gives you a guy that is not afraid to go up and get the football.

38) Spencer Perry-IMG Academy-DB-LB-6’3-205: Perry plays safety but we project him more as a linebacker in college. He is already 6’3 and close to 210 pounds. He has the build to put on the necessary weight to play linebacker. What we like is not only can Perry play the run, he can drop into coverage and help in the pass game

39) McArthur Burnett-Pahokee-Ath.-5’10-175: Burnett is a prospect we first met close to two years ago. He is an old school Pahokee type prospect. He is a very good athlete who can line up at running back, receiver or defensive back. His game reminds us of former Pahokee star Janoris Jenkins.

40) Patrick Bethel-Vero Beach-DE-6’3-245: Bethel comes from a football family. His father Randy was a talented tight end that ended up at University of Miami. Patrick has been a star on the defensive side of the football. The question with Patrick is where you will play him as we could see him end up as a defensive end or possibly even linebacker in the right scheme.

41) Brock Miller-John Carroll-LB-6’4-200: When it comes to under the radar football players no one fits the bill like Miller. He can play all three linebacker spots and may even play defensive end in college. He is a very good athlete. What we like about Miller is that you can put him on the edge and get pressure on the quarterback or drop him into coverage.

42) Dedrick Snelson-American Heritage Plantation-6’0-190: Snelson is a prospect coming out of his sophomore season that many felt was one of the top receivers in Florida. His stock has dipped some but that should not make anyone overlook the talented receiver. He has the ability to stretch the field. Snelson is a guy that you want to get the football in the open field and let his skills take over.

43) Reginald Henderson-Clewiston-WR-6’4-190-(Committed to Miami): Henderson is a prospect that caught our eye at the Miami 7 on 7 tournaments. There are few receivers who go up and attack the football like Henderson. He is going to be at his best on third down and in the red-zone. He is a difficult match up because of his size.

44) Tony Jones-IMG Academy-RB-6’1-215-(Committed to Notre Dame): Turn on Jones film and you have to like what you see. He is a big, powerful back that is not easy to bring down. Jones has some cutting ability and can make the first defender miss. What he lacks is game changing speed. He is the type of back that wears a defense down and breaks off a long run late to put a game away.

45) Woody Barrett-West Orange-QB-6’2-220-(Committed to Auburn): While Allison and Felipe Franks are the top two quarterbacks in Florida, Barrett is not far behind. He is one of the more gifted quarterbacks throwing the football. Where he has an edge over the other two top rated quarterbacks is his ability to run. He is heading off to Auburn which is the ideal fit for his quarterback’s skills

46) Mike Pinckney-Jacksonville Raines-LB-6’0-215-(Committed to Miami): Two of the best linebackers this year reside in Northeast Florida. One if Shaquille Quarterman. The other is Mike Pinckney. He can play WILL in college but it would not shock us to see him move inside. He is a guy that plays best running forward. You let him attack the line of scrimmage and make plays.

47) Devin Bush-Flanagan-LB-5’11-225: Bush is an old school linebacker. He is not the biggest 5’11 and not the fastest but he flat out makes plays. He is the type of linebacker that you ask to play downhill. He is very effective at taking on a block and making a play behind the line of scrimmage.

48) Tyler Bird-Naples-Ath-5’11-160-(Committed to Miami): Byrd is another versatile athlete that you take and find a position for. He is one of the better offensive weapons on Naples football team. While he will star on offense it is defense where many feel Bird will make his mark in college. He is a little thin but we expect him to put on the necessary weight to excel in college.

49) Stewart Reese-Fort Pierce Central-OT-6’6-330: Reese is a big lineman. He is also much more athletic than you would expect for someone his size. The question with Reese is do you play him at tackle or guard. His strength is lining up and just driving his guy off the ball.

50) Romeo Finley-Niceville-DB-6’2-200: Finley is a defensive back you don’t hear much about. He is from Northwest Florida and prospects from that area look to get overlooked. He has the size to play linebacker but the speed and quickness to stay at safety.

51) Travis Homer-Oxbridge-RB-5’10-190-(Committed to Miami): Homer plays for one of the more talented teams in Palm Beach County. Homer brings a back with some nice burst. He also can get to the edge and beat the defense. His ability to catch the football out of the backfield makes him a complete back.

52) Jonathan Jones-Oakridge-LB-6’0-210: Jones caught our eye last year at USF Sling and Shoot. He is physically impressive looking for a linebacker. You watch him run and Jones is athletic. He can do more than help stop the run. He has the speed and quickness to drop into coverage. He has good instincts and seems to always be around the football.

53) Alexy Jean Baptiste-Coconut Creek-Ath.-(Committed to Arkansas): Baptiste reminds us of Oklahoma Sooner, Eric Striker. Like with Striker, Alexy has played defensive back, some linebacker and defensive end. He is a player that you put on the edge and let him loose. He has the ability to put pressure on the opposing quarterback. Alexy is also athletic enough to drop into coverage and go against a tight end or receiver.

54) Korey Charles-North Florida Christian-Ath.-5’10-170: Charles is another versatile athlete that can play cornerback or safety in college. He is fluid enough to turn and run to stay with most receivers and backs in space. He also has good range and can come up and play the run.

55) Devin Studstill-Palm Beach Gardens-DB-6’1-185: Studstill father was a college football star. Devin has a chance to be as good or better. Devin has good size and length to play safety. He can play the pass or come up close to the line of scrimmage and stop the run.

56) Tyrek Tisdale-Oakridge-DB-6’0-190-(Committed to Florida): Tisdale is an offensive prospect that moved over to the defensive side of the football. Tyrek has all the physical attributes you want to see in a defensive back. He has good size, speed and quickness. He does need to continue to work on his technique. Tisdale is over aggressive at times and will lunge at receivers. This could cause him problems in college.

57) Malek Young-Coconut Creek-DB-5’10-175-(Committed to Georgia): Young is part of a secondary that may be one of the best in Florida. He is another versatile defensive back that can play cornerback, safety or nickel in college. He is a physical player who does not mind coming up and playing the run. You would like to see hi be a little more fluid turning and running with receiver. He does have the ability to jam a receiver and take him off his route.

58) Isaiah Johnson-Dwyer-WR-6’3-190-(Committed to Florida): Johnson reminds us of former University of Florida receiver Louis Murphy. He has the size and speed to cause defensive backs problems. What you like from Johnson is for a big receiver is how smooth he runs. He is deceptively fast for a bigger receiver.

59) Julian Santos-East Lake-OG-6’3-285: This is the year to try and find under the radar lineman in Florida. Santos is one of those players who fit that description. He can play guard or center in college and be effective. Santos has pretty good feet and can ben. What you like from him is his ability to latch on to a guy and finish the play. He is very physical at the point of attack.

60) Henry Miller-Gateway-DB-6’3-190: Miller is a prospect that we feel is underrated. He has played quarterback but we have seen him line up at cornerback and safety as well. We would not be surprised to see him develop into a linebacker in college.

61) Craig Watts-Admiral Farragut-DB-5’11-180-(Committed to Wisconsin): Watts is a safety prospect that can play the pass. He is also a safety that you can sneak up and bring closer to the line of scrimmage and go against the run. He is not a kid that is going to mind getting his nose bloody.

62) James Wiggins-South Dade-DB-5’10-185-(Committed to Miami): Wiggins is a two way standout for South Dade. When you go and watch him in person, Wiggins makes plays. He will score on offense and you will see him on defense make interceptions. Wiggins has pretty good instincts and seems to have a knack for being around the football.

63) Jordan Johnson-Ed White-OG-6’3-265: Johnson brother Caleb was a four year starter at Rutgers. Jordan is not as big as his brother but happens to be the better athlete. He has the frame to easily carry 300 pounds. He has good feet and can get to the 2nd

64) Andrew Boselli-Episcopal High School-C-6’4-300-(Committed to Florida State): Boselli is the son of former NFL player Tony Boselli. Andrew has made a name for himself as he is one of the best interior lineman in the state of Florida in 2015. Andrew best attribute is his technique. He understands hand placement and how to manipulate where defensive lineman should go. He is very good at run block but in pass pro might be even better.

65) Deon Edwards-Lake Minneola-DB-6’0-185: Edwards was a prospect we first saw last year. He has good size and speed for a safety. He may play cornerback in some schemes but we project him as a free safety. He has good range and you can put him on the hash and ask him to cover half of the field. He also has good ball skills.

66) Johnny Huntley-South Plantation-WR-6’3-190: Huntley is the guys that in a few years’ people look back and say how he got away from the bigger programs in Florida. He has the type of size to cause your secondary major problems. He moves well and Huntley is a load to cover across the middle of the field. He has good speed. He is not the type of player who is going to blow by defensive backs. He gets separation because of how physical his game is.

67) Nick Eubanks-American Heritage Plantaiton-TE-6’5-220: Eubanks is a tight end that could end up having a very good career. He has great size and is versatile enough to move around the field. You can line him out wide or close to your offensive tackle. He is the type of tight end that can line up in the slot and play receiver on some downs. He has good hands and is a player who can cause defensive coordinators problems at the next level.

68) Jaquwan Nelson-Ft Lauderdale-DE-6’4-230-(Committed to Miami): Nelson is a kid who has good twitch. He has a good first step off the ball and is tough for offensive tackles to get a hand on. He is going to be a very good pass rusher at the next level. You may even be able to play in as a stand-up end in a 3-4 defense. He has the ability to also affect the run game. HE is stout against the run and is not someone you can run right at.

69) Aaron Thompson-Dillard-DE-6’2-265: Thompson is a prospect we have been on since his freshman season. He is a very productive player who has gotten overlooked because Thompson does not have ideal size. He is around 6’2 and some wonder whether to play him at end or tackle in college. He is going to end up putting on the weight to be a very effective interior lineman. He has enough speed and quickness off the edge to stay outside as well.

70) Freddie Swain-North Marion-WR-6’1-175: Swain is a receiver that is going to go up and attack the football. He is a very aggressive receiver.  If you lay off of him, Swain is going to catch a ton of balls. He is very good after the catch. He is another receiver that can be a big time play maker on special teams as well. One thing Swain can do is stretch the field.

71) Joshua Hammond-Hallandale-WR-6’0-180-(Committed to Florida): Hammond brother played at Hallandale and went on to a have a productive career in college. Joshua has more upside then his brother coming out. He has above average size for a receiver. He gives you a receiver with a nice blend of speed and quickness. Hammond has good hands and runs solid routes. Throw him the football and you will most likely see him come down with it.

72) Keyshon Camp-Lake Gibson-DT-6’3-275-(Committed to USC): Camp is a very solid defensive tackle prospect. He has a pretty good first step off the ball and cane be disruptive and get into the backfield. He is not going to be a great pass rusher in the middle of the field. He can help get penetration and stop another teams rushing attack. He does a solid job of using his hands.

73) Jayvaughn Myers-Pasco-6’0-175: Jayvaughn is the brother of Nate Craig who some have rated the number 1 receiver in Florida. Jayvaughn is a good athlete who could see some time at cornerback or safety in college. He is very raw and will need a red-shirt in college to develop his overall skills.

74) Jachai Polite-Mainland-DE-6’4-240: Polite is a versatile lineman that could play end in a 3-4 or play some defensive tackle. He is a big kid that has the type of strength to give some offensive lineman issues. He does a good job of getting penetration. His strength is playing the run but Polite can also help put pressure on the quarterback.

75) Rick Wells-Raines-WR-6’0-190-(Committed to Florida): Wells is not a guy that is going to blow you away with his speed. What he does do well is use his body to get separation between himself and a defensive back. He runs solid routes and has good hands. He is a guy that is going to make the tough catch on third down to move the chains.

76) Dominique Ross-Trinity Christian-LB-6’3-200-(Committed to North Carolina): Ross plays a hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker position for Trinity Christian. You can use him as a standup edge rusher. He has a quick first step off the ball and can put pressure on the quarterback. His length makes him difficult to block as well.

77) Christion Gainer-Panama Bay-OT-6’5-280: Gainer is a prospect that we could easily see being one of the top offensive lineman which comes out of this class. He has good size (6’5-280) and length. He also is athletic enough to play either tackle spot. Right now he is better at pass protection. We would like to see him get a little more physical in the run game.

78) KJ Sails-East Bay-CB-5’11-170: Sails has been overlooked this off-season. We have seen him in person and there may not be a more underrated cornerback in this year’s class. He has good size (5’11) and his length allows him to match up well against most receivers.

79) Devin Singletary-American Heritage Delray-5’9-185: Singletary is not the biggest back in this year’s class but there may not be many more explosive. He is a one cut back. He can put his foot in the ground and go. He has the ability to make defenders miss. He also gives you a back that can help out in the passing game.

80) Freddie Pinder-Southridge-6’4-200: Pinder has the ideal size you want in a receiver. What he gives you is a threat across the middle of the field. He also is going to be effective in the red-zone. He is not a stretch the field type receiver. Pinder is a big, physical receiver that will be able to set the edge on stretch runs.

81) Jaquan Bailey-Raines-DE-6’3-230-(Committed to Florida): Elite Scouting first look at Bailey was him lining up at receiver at a 7 on 7 event. He is a big kid that can run. You turn on his film and Bailey is also explosive off the edge on defense. He is going to be a guy that can play outside linebacker in a 3-4 or put his hand in the ground and rush up the field. He is a very good athlete.

82) Aaron Robinson-Deerfield Beach-DB-6’1-170-(Committed to Florida): Robinson plays in a secondary that is by far one of the top 2-3 in South Florida this year. Robinson gives you some size and speed at the safety spot. He is a kid that is going to come at your hard and is not going to back down from a challenge.

83) Tyrin Summers-Clewiston-WR-5’10-165: Summers is one of those prospects you recruit and find a position for him once on campus. He is a high character kid who is going to work hard once on your team. He can line up at running back or receiver and make an impact. If he gets behind the secondary there are not many defensive backs that will be able to catch him.

84) Keir Thomas-Miami Central-DE-6’2-240-(Committed to Florida State): If production matters then you take a long hard look at Thomas. He was one of the leading sack artist in Dade County. He has a quick first step off the ball and can get into the backfield in a hurry. The big question with Thomas is where you will play him in college. He is not big enough to play inside. Does he have enough speed and quickness to play at defensive end in college? That is a question that will need to be answered.

85) Daquan Newkirk-First Academy-DE-6’3-255-(Committed to Auburn): Newkirk is a prospect that caught our eye as a freshman at Evans High School. He transferred to First Academy and ended up flying under the radar. He is a versatile athlete who plays both defensive end and tight end in high school. He is a good athlete and one that you can match up on a tight end. He has the size to also put his hand on the ground and get after the quarterback.

86) Kevin Stepherson-First Coast-WR-5’11-180-(Committed to Notre Dame): When watched Kevin play last year he showed off big play ability. He can catch a short pass and go the distance anywhere on the field. He has some ability to be elusive in the open field. He is thin framed so you want to get him in space.

87) Joshua Uche-Columbus-LB-6’2-215-(Committed to Miami): You are looking at another player who comes off the edge and is used as a defensive end but will play linebacker in college. He can get after the quarterback. The question with Uche is can he drop into coverage and effective. He is a good athlete and has pretty good length. He should be able to clog up some passing lanes.

88) Jerron Rollins-Columbus-WR-6’2-170: Collins has improved as much as any prospect over the past two years. Rollins now believes he can match up against any defensive back and win the battle. He has good hands and does a good job of making a play after the catch. He does not have great deep speed but defensive backs still have to respect him.

89) Twonnie Pollard-Palm Bay-LB-6’3-210: Pollard is a prospect we really like. He plays fast and comes after the ball carrier on every play. You watch him play and Pollard plays downhill and fast. He is not afraid of contact. He will take on a lead block, blow him up and make the play on a back. He can go side line to side line and make tackles. He is athletic enough to play the pass as well. He is athletic enough to stay on the field as an every down linebacker.

90) Brett Heggie-Mount Dora-OG-6’4-290: Heggie is a big and physical looking lineman. He is thick and not a player that you are going to have an easy time moving off the ball. He is kid that can get physical at the point of attack. He has enough size to play tackle but we feel could excel at guard or center in college.

91) Montray Smith-Carol City-WR-6’3-170: Smith is one of those typical Dade county players who comes out of nowhere and makes a name for himself his senior season. He has good size and pretty good speed and quickness. You would like to see him attack the ball more. He has a tendency to not high point the football.

92) Deon McIntosh-Cardinal Gibbons-RB-5’10-180: McIntosh is one of the more complete backs in Florida this year. He can help out in the run game or go out and catch passes. He is not the biggest back so pounding him between the tackles is not how you have success with him. Get him a hole and let him burst through it. He is the type of back that can carry it 12-14 times a game and catches 4-5 passes.

93) Carlin Fils Aime-Naples-RB-5’11-175: Without him last year Naples offense struggled. He is a back that should put up monster numbers in Naples run orientated offense. We expect him to break off a ton of big runs. He is a back that you try and get to the edge and let him out run the defense. He is a back that if you get him one on one with a linebacker it could get ugly. He is one of the few top backs in Florida who gets to top end speed quickly and can outrun a defense.

94) Vosean Joseph-Miami Norland-LB-6’2-210-(Committed to Florida): Joseph is part of a defense that should be able to shut down almost any offense they face this season. He is probably more on interior linebacker but could play WILL in certain schemes. He does a good job of taking on blocks and making plays behind the line of scrimmage.

95) Brandon Johnson-American Heritage Plantation-WR-6’2-175: Johnson has been overshadowed the past two years by Snelson. With Snelson most likely gone this year from Heritage, we expect Johnson to be their go to guy. He has good size, solid speed and can run routes.

96) Greg Simmons-Fort Pierce Central-6’2-225: Simmons was a prospect that was committed early to Miami. He has since come off that pledge. He plays defensive end but some see him more as a linebacker. He is probably best playing inside as Simmons lateral quickness could hurt him against smaller and quicker receivers and backs in space. He can rush the passer so blitzing him would be a good idea on passing downs.

97) MJ McGriff-Vero Beach-WR-5’9-170: McGriff is one of the best slot receivers in Florida. He is listed at 170 pounds but McGriff plays bigger than his size would suggest. He is a play maker who you need to get the football to. He is very dangerous once in the open field.

98) Dontye Carrierre Williams-Saint Thomas-CB-5’10-175-(Committed to Cincinnati): Williams was at Booker T. Washington the past couple of seasons. He goes over to Saint Thomas where Williams will be part of one of the best defensive backfields in Broward County. Here is a kid that has really developed him game the past two years. He has gotten bigger and stronger. He can play man –press coverage or stay off his guy and still make plays. He is this year version of Rashad Fenton.

99) Cedrick Wright-Gulliver Prep-Ath.-5’10-180-(Committed to Miami): Wright is not the biggest player on Gulliver Prep team. He is one of the better overall players. The issue with Wright is that his upside is not as great as some of his teammates. That being said it would not surprise us to see him have a better career. He is a productive player that understands the game of football.

100) Eddie McDoom-West Orange-WR-6’0-170: McDoom has the type of speed and quickness to flip the field. His first step off the line of scrimmage is one of the fastest of any receiver on the board. He can make one cut and be off to the races. He runs solid routes and if the ball is near McDoom, he is likely to come up with it.

101) Parker Braun-Osceola-OG-6’3-270: Braun plays tackle but we project him more as a guard/center in college. He is one of the tougher lineman we saw play last year. He comes off the ball well and will attack the guy opposite him. He is a very good run blocker. You watch them play and Braun is the one Osceola runs behind.

102) Adrian Killins-Mainland-Ath.-5’8-170: Killins is not the biggest player on the board but there are not many who are more explosive. He reminds us of Brandon Powell who signed with University of Florida last year and played as a freshman. He is a prospect that can line up in the slot, in your backfield or play some on special teams.

103) Jaquaris Bargnare-Dr. Phillips-WR-5’9-160: Bargnare is a prospect that has flown under the radar. There are some quality slot receivers and he is one of the best. He has very good hands. His body control allows him to catch passes that are poorly thrown. He is not a big receiver but Bargnare attacks the football in the air.

104) Johnny Johnson-Dillard-Ath.-6’2-180: Johnson is a prospect we first saw as a freshman. He is one of the more gifted players in Broward County that does not get talked about. He has lined up at quarterback, safety and cornerback in high school. He has also made his mark as a receiver. He has very good size, length and speed. If he can make it academic wise, you may be looking at a future star in college.

105) Theo Anderson-Indian Rocks-RB-5’10-210: Anderson has very impressive film. The biggest issue with Anderson is people will question the competition. He does dominate and that is what you need to do at a school like his. He shows the ability to run between the tackles or bounce it outside. Once in the open field, Anderson shows the speed to pull away from defenders.

106) Rex Culpepper-Tampa Plant-QB-6’3-215-(Committed to Syracuse): Culpepper father is Brad Culpepper who played at University of Florida and also in the NFL. Rex is a big quarterback with all the skills to be very good in college. He has a good arm and can make most of the throws asked of him.

107) Anthony Julmisse-South Plantation-Ath.-5’11-180: Julmisse is the “SLEEPER” in this class. Here is a prospect that goes away to college and in a couple of years is getting drafted in the NFL. He is a versatile player who can line up on either side of the football and make an impact. We expect him to be one of the leading rushers in Broward County this upcoming season.

108) Elijah Mack-Charlotte High School-RB-5’11-215-(Committed to USF): Mack is a big, powerful back that runs North and South. Get him the ball and let him bang it between the tackles. He has good burst but is not a back that you are going to ask to get to the corner. He can be used as a tailback or fullback in college. He has pretty good hands so his versatility also makes him a priority.

109) Devin Gil-Flanagan-DB-6’1-210-(Committed to Michigan): Gil is a big kid who may eventually grow into a WILL backer at the next level. He already is bigger than most of the defensive backs on the board. He can come up and play in the box or go into coverage and make plays in the passing game. With his recent commitment to Michigan they may decide to keep him at safety. If not he would give them an athletic linebacker who can handle playing against the spread offenses in the Big Ten.

110) Jarrod Hewitt-Venice-DT-6’2-290-(Committed to Rutgers): Hewitt is a big, physical defensive tackle that comes hard on every down. He is an old school lunch box type of player. He gets off the ball well and can get into the backfield and be disruptive. We like his ability to beat the block off the ball. He is not a guy that you can block with one guy and expect the results to be very good. Hewitt may be the strongest defensive tackle in this year class.

111) Dontay Mayfield-Gulliver Prep-WR-6’0-180: Mayfield plays on a team with a ton of talented players. He gets overlooked but it would not surprise us to see him have a very good college career. He has good size and above average speed for a receiver. He is very effective on quick hitches, slants and crossing routes.

112) Trey Sneed-Fleming Island-5’10-185-(Committed to Rutgers): Sneed is a between the tackles, pound and ground type back. He is a guy that you are going to ask to go North/South and pick up the tough yards. He does have some speed and quickness to break off some long runs.

113) Ke’Shan Pennamon-University Christian-CB-5’10-180: Pennamon is another player who has flown under the radar. He is not very big but Keshan makes up for it with his speed and quickness. He has some fluidity in his hips. He is also a sound tackler on defense.

114) Rashad Weaver-Cooper City-DE-6’5-250: (Committed to Michigan); Weaver plays tight end and defensive end. He could eventually grow into a left tackle. He is a big kid that can move. He is athletic for his size. His length and frame suggest that he can easily put on the weight to get close to 300 pounds. One thing you notice when you watch him play is Rashad plays with a bit of an attitude.

115) John Raine-Westminster Christian-DE-6’3-235: Raine is a two way standout for his high school football team. He plays running back, receiver, tight end, defensive end and linebacker. Turn on any film of Raine and the kid makes plays. We like him as an H-Back on offense or a linebacker on defense.

116) Ladarrien Wilson-Osceola-RB-5’0-210: Wilson plays in an offense that likes to run the football. His running style reminds us of Carlos Hyde who went on and had a great career at Ohio State. Like Hyde, he projected more as a fullback in college but in the right offense can play running back. He is a straight line runner who has enough speed to get to the outside at times. He needs to show us more in the passing game to be an every down back.

117) Keelen Roberts-Carol City-CB-6’0-180: Roberts is a cornerback that gives you size (6’0). He is a strong defensive back that is not going to get pushed around by bigger receivers. He does not mind coming up and being physical in the run game. He is an up in coming defensive back.

118) JC Flowers-Trinity Christian-WR-6’2-175: Flowers is another player who gets overlooked because he was on such a talented team. He gives you size and speed at receiver. He is also not afraid to hit you. He is one of the better blocking receivers you will see in person. He runs solid routes and can make plays after the catch.

119) Joshua Dunn-Lake Wales-DB-6’0-190: Dunn is another prospect that is moved all over the defense to make plays. He has good size. You would like to see him have a little more length. He does a good job coming off his guy and making tackles. He is an in the box safety. He plays some cornerback but in college that is not going to be a strength of his.

120) Steve Calvert-Carol City-QB-6’2-180: Calvert also known as Buckshot has one of the strongest arms in Florida this year. He is a pure pocket passer. He would be most effective in a Hal Mumme type offense in college. You are going to have to protect him and give Calvert time to get rid of the ball. When he does have time, Calvert can make some throws that are quite impressive.

121) Keldric Preston-Robinson-DE-6’3-235: Preston plays a position (DE) that has some serious talent at it in 2015. You look at guys like Brian Burns who go under the radar because of Bosa, Robinson and Manuel. Keldric is an end that has some size and his frame will allow him to gain another 20-25 pounds. He has some quickness off the edge and can put pressure on the quarterback. His size allows him to hold the point of attack and stand up against the run.

122) Thomas Geddis-Pompano Ely-WR-6’3-165: Geddis main drawback is his weight (165). He is very explosive off the line of scrimmage and with his size could cause some problems. There are very few big receivers who can stretch the field like Geddis. He is a raw prospect but the upside is there for him to be very good in college.

123) James Charles-Saint Thomas-5’10-190: If there is one player who could end up moving up this list quickly it is Charles. He is the type of back that is going to punish a defender. He has nice quickness through the line of scrimmage and then the power button turns on. He is not the type of back that is going to be armed tackled.

124) Troy Hilton-Bayside-DB-6’3-180: Hilton is one of the bigger cornerbacks this year. He can turn and run with most receivers. If he has to chase a receiver on a crossing route or deal with a super quick receiver in space, Hilton could have some issues. He does attack the ball in the air.

125) James Jackson-Dillard-WR-6’3-210: Jackson is one of three very talented receivers on Dillard football team. He has size and can get behind a secondary. While he is not a 4.3 type receiver, Jackson can stretch the field. He is also going to be able to help out in the run game as Jackson is solid at blocking as well.

126) James Pierre-Deerfield Beach-DE-6’2-165-(Committed to Miami): Pierre is part of a secondary that is going to be very good next season. He can come up and play press coverage or be put in center field and make plays. He has good instincts and has knack for being around the football.

127) Dicaprio Bootle-Southridge-DB-5’11-170: At a recent camp Bootle ran a 4.38. He has the type of speed that will force you to take notice. He is very explosive for a defensive back. When you take his speed and mix in his size, Bootle has the tools you want for a college prospect. He is a raw prospect but the upside is there for you to take a chance on him.

128) Marcus Frazier-Forest Hill-Ath.-6’0-190: Frazier comes from a program that has not put out many D1 prospects. Frazier is a two way standout. He plays quarterback but we could see him line up at receiver, safety or cornerback. Turn on any Forest Hill football game and Frazier is making big plays.

129) Jaleel Davis-Titusville-RB-5’10-185: Davis is a back that has been under recruited. He has good size, has good lateral quickness and has top end speed. He is also a tough, hardnosed runner who can pick up the yardage on third and one. He is also a very solid receiver out of the backfield.

130) Carson Proctor-Vero Beach-QB-6’4-205: Proctor played behind a D1 prospect last year at Vero Beach. It is his time to take over and we feel that Proctor could end up a D1 quarterback himself. He has a good arm and can make most of the throws. His biggest issue is just letting the ball go. Anticipation is huge with quarterbacks and if Proctor just trust his receivers his game will go to another level.

131) Michael Irvin-Saint Thomas-WR-H-Back-6’3-220: If the name sounds familiar it should. He is the son of former Hall of Fame receiver Michael Irvin. He is already bigger than his father was coming out of high school. While he plays receiver some teams may want Irvin as an H-Back or tight end. He is going to be a threat on crossing routes and inside the red-zone.

132) CJ Riley-North Broward Prep-WR-6’4-170: Riley is a legit 6’4 receiver. He gives you size at the position. While he is a raw prospect there is some nice upside with him. He is a smart kid who works hard on and off the field. He gives you a threat in the red-zone as most defensive backs can’t match up with his size.

133) Shemar Smith-Miami Jackson-DE/OLB-6’3-220: Smith is a linebacker that could really blow up this fall. He has solid size, speed and quickness off the edge. The question with Smith is do you play him at defensive end where he is a bit undersized or linebacker. At linebacker he needs to show the ability to drop into coverage. He is a player who has always been put on the edge and asked to go get the ball carrier.

134) Keenan Forbes-Everglades-OG-6’3-290: Forbes is a kid that you turn on his film and will be impressed. He is a big kid that can move. You will see him get to the 2nd level and finish off plays. He plays the game the way it is supposed to be played. He is physical at the point of attack. His strength is run blocking.

135) John Pollack-Dr. Phillips-LB-6’0-200-(Committed to Rutgers): Pollack is going to end up a four year starter at Dr. Phillips. He is a kid that is very productive on the football field. He may not be the most athletic linebacker but his instincts make up for any of his limitations. He is a linebacker that is best suited playing the run.

136) Paul Dawson-Sebastian River-LB-6’2-190-(Committed to USF): Dawson plays a bit of a hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker role in high school. He has enough speed and quickness to play some safety in certain schemes. He is a bigger more athletic linebacker. His style of play is what college coaches are looking for in a linebacker.

137) Michael Iammuno-Saint Thomas-LB-6’3-220: Michael was a tight end last year. His move to linebacker could be the best thing Michael could have done. We saw him at a camp this spring and Michael was one of the best players there. Considering that the camp had some elite prospects that are saying something.

138) Tyler Huntley-Hallandale-QB-6’0-175: When it comes to putting the ball on the mark, not many are better than Huntley. He is a quarterback that gives his receivers a chance to make a play on the ball. He knows when to fire the ball into a receiver. He also knows when to take enough off so they can run under it. He has good accuracy. Huntley also gives you some versatility at quarterback as he is a good athlete as well.

139) Stone Forsythe-West Orange-OT-6’7-315: Stone is a kid that is HUGE. He looks like a college offensive lineman. He is a big kid that will probably have to play right tackle or move to guard in college. He is not a guy with great lateral quickness. If he did have the ability to play left tackle, Stone would be a top 50 prospect in Florida. He is a raw prospect but with his pedigree (father played in NFL) and his size there is someone that is going to give him a chance and it would not surprise us to see him become a star.

140) Artavis Pierce-Auburndale-RB-5’10-180-(Committed to Oregon State): At 5’11, and close to 200 pounds Pierce gives you a nice sized back. Pierce is a N/S runner. He has some pretty good speed once in the open field. He is not the type of back that is going to be running stretch plays. He is a between the tackles runner who does not go outside until Pierce is by the secondary.

141) Andre Polk-South Ft Myers-Ath.-6’2-190: If there is a player in this class that can come out of nowhere and end up in the NFL one day it is Polk. He has all the physical tools you want in a linebacker. He has good size (6’2) and can run (4.6). His length allows him to make plays against the pass. You can also bring him on a blitz and Polk will get to the quarterback.

142) Chris Oladokun-Aloso-QB-6’1-175-(Committed to USF): Oladokun reminds us of former USF quarterback Matt Grothe. He is a good enough athlete to design plays to run him. He is also a good enough passer to keep defenses honest. He can make most the throws asked of him. Chris is not the biggest quarterback so putting on some weight is a must.

143) Nolan Defranco-West Orange-DE-6’6-220-(Committed to North Carolina): Defranco is a defensive end that gets overlooked. He is a big kid who can run. He has the frame to easily get up to 270 pounds. He would be ideal in a 3-4 defensive scheme.

 144) Zuriel Davis-Andrew Jackson-DT-6’3-320: With so few quality defensive tackles on the board one that gets overlooked is Davis. It would not surprise us to see him have a very productive career in college. He has the size and quickness to be a good lineman at a high level. He needs to work on his academics for him to move up the board.

145) Xavier Gaines-Lake Wales-QB-6’3-210: As a sophomore many would have expected Gaines to be one of the premier quarterbacks in Florida. He has not developed as much as we would like. He has a very good arm and is athletic. The problem is Gaines is still a work in progress. He needs a red-shirt season so he can develop both physically and mentally for the college game.

146) Jacob Huesman-Braden River-QB-6’3-210: If there is a quarterback that is getting overlooked it is Jacob. He has good size. He also has a good arm and can make most of the throws asked of him. We like his ability to anticipate where a receiver is going to be and lead them properly. He is a pure pocket passer.

147) Ronald Patterson-Raines-WR-6’1-175: Patterson is on Raines team that is loaded with receivers. They could have three receivers go D1 this year. Patterson has good size but lacks the speed and quickness to stretch the field. He is more of a possession receiver.

148) Demetrius White-Dillard-WR-6’2-180: White is a big receiver with some nice speed and quickness. He is more of a straight line receiver. He is not a guy that is going to give you a ton of wiggle. He can go across the middle of the field and is effective when you get him the ball on quick hitches and slants.

 149) Parker Boudreaux-Bishop Moore-OG-6’5-280: Parker is a kid that has a ton of offers. We see him more as an interior lineman than one who can play on the outside. His game is more suitable to playing inside. We don’t feet he has the athletic ability to go against great speed rushers. He is a smart kid who gets by with solid technique.

 150) Jhakari Harrison-Coconut Creek-QB-6’0-180: Harrison is not the biggest quarterback. That being said he is very efficient as a quarterback. He understands how to place the ball for his receiver to go get the football. He does not whip the football in there and force his receivers to make acrobatic plays. He is also a smart kid who can read a defense and take what is there.
