All Florida Finals Team (Class 1A-4A)

OFFENSE

QB: Caleb Lewis, Lakeland Victory Christian: Lewis was surgical in the 2A championship game, carving up Indian Rocks Christian for 382 yards and an FHSAA record six touchdown passes. Lewis was 23-of-28 and showed ability to make passes in the pocket and using his feet to escape pressure.

RB: Mark Walton, Booker T. Washington: Walton owned the 4A Final by accounting for 275 yards (186 rushing, 89 receiving) and four touchdowns in a 54-35 victory over Jacksonville Bolles. Walton came up big each time Bolles cut the Tornadoes’ lead to single digits.

RB: Jarkeice Davis, Port St. Joe: Davis rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries in the Class 1A final. He also had a reception for 14 yards.

WR: Vaquan Smalls, Booker T. Washington: Smalls had five receptions for 152 yards and two touchdowns in the 4A Final against Bolles.

WR: Brice Ford, Lakeland Victory Christian: Ford had 8 receptions for 110 yards and three touchdowns in the 2A Final against Indian Rocks Christian.

WR: E’Andre Smith, Lakeland Victory Christian: Smith was one of three members of the Storm to have at least seven catches, 100 yards and a touchdown. Smith had seven catches for 143 yards and two scores, including a 68-yarder.

OL: Kendrick Norton, Jacksonville Trinity Christian: Helped wear down Delray American Heritage, wouldn’t be shocked to see him continue to play OL at the next level.

OL: Deiontae Lynch, Booker T. Washington: A major part of the reason the Tornadoes gained over 550 yards on offense.

OL: Ben Tiroila, Booker T. Washington: Much of Mark Walton’s success on the ground came behind this 6-3, 300-pounder

OL: Brandon Elledge, Lakeland Victory Christian: Elledge protected the blind side of the left-handed Lewis to perfection in the 2A Final.

OL: Jeremiah Theus, Jacksonville Bolles: Even in the loss Bolles racked up plenty of yards and this Georgia Southern commit was as good as advertised.

ATH: Kevin Toliver, Jacksonville Trinity Christian: Toliver scored playing quarterback out of the wildcat and recovered a fumble on defense. He was everywhere in the 3A Final.

DEFENSE

DL: Devonaire Clarington, Booker T. Washington: The tight end turned defensive lineman might have a future at defensive end. He had eight stops and 1.5 tackles for loss.

DL: James Washington, Jacksonville Trinity Christian: Washington did a great job of containing Delray American Heritage’s speedy backfield on the perimeter in the 3A Final. He also had a sack.

DL: Reggie Smith, Port St. Joe: Smith: who played defensive end at 5-10, 200 pounds, finished with two sacks in the Sharks’ 16-0 victory over Hamilton County in the 1A Final.

LB: Victor Alexander, Jacksonville Trinity Christian: Alexander (5-10, 223) playing middle linebacker was very active with a team-high eight tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss

LB: Jeffrey Holland, Jacksonville Trinity Christian: Holland, a top 50 prospect in the state, finally showed some of his potential with 2 TFL, a sack and a forced fumble.

LB: Jaylyn McKinney, Lakeland Victory Christian: McKinney had three sacks and six tackles while also starting at running back.

DB: Terry Jefferson, Booker T. Washington: Jefferson seemed to be in on every play in the 4A Final. He had a weekend-high 14 tackles.

DB: Ocie Rose, Booker T. Washington: Rose was nearly as active as Jefferson with 10 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a fumble recovery.

DB: Tyreke Johnson, Jacksonville Trinity Christian: This superstar freshman had a fumble recovery and a highlight-reel interception.

DB: Aaron Paul, Port St. Joe: Paul had an interception, a fumble recovery and two tackles for loss from the safety position in the 1A final.

ATH: Ronnie Bennett, Delray American Heritage: Despite the loss in the 3A Final, Bennett was dominating from the linebacker and safety position racking up 15 tackles.
